Little off note, but when I just graduated high school I went straight into a Phlebotomy program, then tested and received my National board certification. Then I get my first job at a popular blood donation company, and realized that I was the only one certified…. like they did the same exact thing that the gyms were doing. They were letting the receptionist take made up quizzes and letting them transfer into a phlebotomists position where they would then draw blood. Wild.
Great job. The weight sling is a product of a trainer in another state. Cool product. The difference between a gym and CG is you get a personal certified trainer at every location. Gyms you pay your monthly fee PLUS you have to pay extra for EVERY personal training session, which can run in addition to you monthly dues anywhere from about $20-$100/hour per session. That’s extra.
You don’t pay extra with CG. The trainers are passionate about our members. The community is amazing. The support and encouragement amongst the entire team is unbeatable.
your editing skills have improved so much! also thanks for this video, it was super informative and honest!!!
LOVE this video! I just applied to be a trainer. Super excited to hear back!!:D
This inspired me to possibly go workout tomorrow. Crazy how far you’ve come
How much equipment would you be bringing to a CG class? People bring their own dbs and mats. The most I’ve seen a trainer set up is 10 cones
Thank god you didn’t train for Camp Gladiator!!! They are a MLM and prey on their trainers. They charge 400+ if you don’t attend their annual convention they call Next! Granted you are required to spend almost that much to attend!! The pepper spray comment is a joke they had a trainer who was unfortunately murdered at their training location Missy Beavers was an amazing woman and she unfortunately lost her life while at work. They are also super money based and on the trainer side you are encouraged to run a MLM. You would think at a trainer meeting you would learn about how to impact lives but they are about the $$$. Every meeting is about getting more people to sign up and spend money instead of helping people reach their goal.
One of my favorite quotes: “
If a company makes you pay to work for them then you should ask if they are a scam.”
good job man. older guy here, just finished 5 weeks had to take a week off to let some thing heal, my knees are getting stronger but they are still an issue, and just going from desk job and minimal workouts for 2 years (since quit playing basketball). Going back stronger and KILLIN IT!!!
