I go to pita pit and get wholemeal large pita with feta and cheddar cheese, diced steak, and all the vegetables except jalapenos, mushrooms, and olives.

Subway also has wraps… I always get a 6 inch spinach wrap with grilled chicken, spinach, olives, tomatoes and light balsamic dressing. It’s really good.

Kinda surprised some of these choices didn’t feature a double protein recommendation… Skipping extra carbs and maxing out on proteins will cost equal or less $ for those who are eating fast food due to financial strain, and if you want similar calories with a higher protein score, doubling up on meat is a fair option. Not a bad video by any means, though.:)
I like the taste of nutiva hemp protein. Its kind of earthy but it doesnt have that “protein” taste, its not high calorie but its good to add to smoothies & its a good source of iron & minerals we need. Its the only one I can tolerate

I have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic so want to improve my diet. I am trying vegetarian meals but not sure what staple spices/herbs to have. I don’t think I can have too much Carbohydrate. I am also too fat. I have bought some orangy lentils, green lentils & tins of chick peas, mixed beans & red beans. It’s a start but not sure what to do with them. I can never with protein too, i swear most flavors gross me out. And i jus end up wasting them, til i found isoflex in CHOCOLATE for protein, its really not overwhelming. It just taste like a normal chocolate drink i put milk w it. The bomb!! And for mass gainer, mammoth in CHOCOLATE. Same thing, taste realllyyyy gooood!!
Why don’t you try unflavored protein and add all the fruits you like. I know serious mass doesn’t have unflavored but there’s many brands out there that do. That’s the only way I can drink mine and it’s not that bad it taste like a regular smoothie to me, you can try the optimum nutrition unflavored, just make sure to add a lot of fruit for taste.

Trust me, you that want to become vegetarian, but you’re a little bit insecure, DO IT. First thing first there are SO MANY DISHES, u can create whatever u want, then it’s so healthy! And last but not least you’ll save a lot of animals’ life (that I think it’s the principal reason). So there’s nothing wrong to become vegetarian join this big group that I hope one day will enclose ALL!
I work at Subway, best thing you can do is get a six inch on wheat, ask for it to be debreaded, double up the meat on the turkey (cost extra yes but will fill you up), and I put onions and Bell peps on before I toast it. Also a lot of people don’t know we have seasonings, like oregano, s&p, mustard seeds, olive oil & vinegar.! And ofc the part that catches most people are the “chips, drinks, and COOKIES.” Steer clear of those and your all good!!

Hey if you have a shit blender like me you can half the portions on the protein ice cream.
1 cup of unsweetened cashew milk/ or almond milk
20g/ or 1/4 cup of a whey/casein protein powder blend
4g/ or a little less than 1 tsp of fat free sugar free jello
5g/ or 1 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
6g/ or a little more than 1 tsp of coconut flower
1g/ or 1/4 tsp of xantham gum (the biggest problem with having a trash blender is the thickness that the xantham gum makes the ice cream so i recommend 1g instead of 1.5)
16 oz of ice
Since you have a trash blender you will probably have to add a bit of water to keep it going so i recommend just a little at a time because if you add too much it’ll make it more like a smoothie and the consistency will be bad.
ADD whatever toppings you want (PB2, whipped cream)
ENJOY!

I work at subway! We do salads and wraps as well. I usually do a rotisserie chicken salad with no cheese and just a dash of sweet onion. You can make the salad the way you want and you can choose to have a little or lot of whichever dressing or no dressing. It’s my favorite. But be prepared. They’re a pain to make so the worker might get a little frustrated…

I know I’m late… But when making your ice cream, consider starting with all of the ingredients in your blender except for the xanthan gum! Let it all blend with the water and get all runny! Then once it’s all combined just dump the xanthan gum in and it will thicken real quick (30sec) and be done!

That parmesan seasoning is not actually 0 calories. You can tell it is rounded down from 3 or 4 calories because you can see underneath that there is 0.2g of fat (every gram of fat is 9 calories) and some protein. Plus the serving size is one half of a teaspoon so a few tablespoons contain like 50 calories or so. At that point you may just add a few pinches of actual cheese.
@will the whole billions thing id probably the number of bacteria in a pill. I am not big on supplements, but i do work in molecular biology and thise numbers would make sense if they were numer of bacteria
It’s tough when you live in a small town and there are literally only 5 restaurants total: a McDonald’s, Subway, DQ, Dog N Sudz and a family breakfast diner. Some towns offer even less.

-vegan chocolate protein powder (i like Vega sport or blessed)
-1 frozen banana
-3 chunks of frozen pineapple
-handful of frozen spinach
-1 cup of coconut water
-a little ice
some water to help with blending
2 tbs of cocoa powder
it’s soooo good and the only way i’ll drink protein powder

This guy is garbage. Anything that’s pickled will have perservatives. It’s funny and racist that he says MSG should be avoided then recommends the Turkey. MSG is in the Turkey that he says you should go for (its in there naturally like its in all meat). The only thing you should care about are the nutrients with Protein, Carbs, and Fats being the most important aka your macros. He’s probably doing a program where he’s calculating these things.
To save the time:
Go for Roast Beef, Chicken, Club, or Turkey Double Lean Meat You’ll get 32-40 grams of Protein in a 6 inch Stack as much veggies as you want. Only tomotoes have notable caloric count of 5 for 3 slices.
No cheese, No mayo
For sauces I would go double mustard (10 kcal) or if you want 50 kcal per 6 inch then go light mayo. I would also add in oregono, salt/pepper, and other seasonings.
You can live off 2-3 full foot long sandwiches per day eating only subway. The sandwiches themselves are about 400 to 500 calaries.
Avoid Tuna, Meatballs, Italian, Bacon meats. These are high fat high calories sources of protein.

You do a very good job and I love your music:-) I think the only thing I would do differently would be to either roast my veggies or cook them in much less water because when you put them in a pot full of water, boil them, and drain the water you are draining a lot of the nutrients from the vegetable. Roasted veggies are amazing or steaming them with a minimal amount of water. Great job!

This is really late but really don’t worry about the billions in your probiotic. It only matters if you only plan on taking 1 pill per year or you’re taking in conjunction with a course of antibiotics that are particularly hard on your gut flora such as Flagyl, Cipro, Levaquin, or oral Vancomycin. Probiotics re-populate the gut with healthy bacteria, and are most useful after your natural flora has been wiped out by something, or you suffer from chronic intestinal diseases like IBS. Otherwise it’s mostly a maintenance dose, and live bacteria in your gut multiply exponentially as long as there is open real estate in your intestines; so 1 billion today will be 90b in like a week or something (me no mathy). It can also be used to slowly “gentrify” your gut if you’re used to mostly eating crap but have started eating more well. Take the cheaper options, as long as the bacteria is live cultures. There is no functional difference. You’d be better off ensuring your probiotic product has a larger variety of good bacteria cultures, and then eating fermented foods and/or prebiotic foods/supplements.
