Hey fitness blenders! first of all I want to say thank you guys for putting out such great and awesome free videos! They have really helped and inspired me to become healthier
Anyways, I have a brief question for you. I’m 25, 5’2″ and “around” 125 pounds and sadly, I know it terrible, am a smoker. I really want to work on my endurance and strength, but I’ve been having a hard time getting through the workouts because of my breathing. I just become so winded during the level 3 workouts, almost to the point where I can’t finish them. However, once I stop and catch my breath I’m fine. Even the next day I won’t be sore or tired at all. So my question is, am I still becoming stronger and leaner even if I’m not sore? I’ve always heard, no pain no gain, but don’t know if it applies to this.
Also, if you have any workout suggestions to help me get over this breathing hurdle (yes, I know quitting would help, but I don’t know if can manage that right now.) that would be great!

I get soooo obsessive about calories burnt and eaten, it’s bad I’m far to paranoid.:s it’s hard to let go. After losing 100 lbs I worry about even gaining the slightest bit of weight back, which is silly because my weight will go up with muscle gain lol

Could my birth control be preventing me from losing weight? I have been doing 5-6 of your workouts the past 4 weeks, I am very health conscious and eat a well rounded diet. I would say I have about 10 pounds of unwanted weight, mostly focused in the belly area. Before fitness blender I was exercising but definitely not challenging myself as much as I have been. This workout has been my favorite for years. In fact, I have 2 copies of DVDs on hand in case one gets damaged somehow. It’s that awesome because it really sneaks up on you. I’m glad it’s on YT for all to enjoy! If you want another one of Ellen’s workouts that’s crazy good, try her Fat Burning Fusion DVD.
I have been a huge fan of the Pilates Crunch Fat Burning, and have used it for years. I “like” this one, but it is long and boring. Way too much on the lunges and plie. I will do the first part WITH the weights and skip the part that is supposed to have weights. I like variety. This doesn’t have it. I will also keep the mat work. Good stuff.

I just tried one of your workouts! And I love it. (: and a question.. I am 15, and I am near 120-124 pounds I’m 5’2 height. I do blogilates, and do walk regularly during the day. I be doing these at least 5 days a week. How much should I be eating? and you mentioned in video you should be doing different exercises everyday. Should I do cardio for two days and say for legs and abs and arms for two days? Sorry for all this questions! I just want to start toning my areas because I had lost so much weight, and wanna get toned in the areas where I have extra skin at..

Thank you very much for such a good explanation! I’d be really grateful if you could also explain what is the best heart rate to maintain during a cardio-based workout. Some trainers say you should stay within the “fat burning zone” which is roughly 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. I’m used to exercising as hard as I can so I am a bit confused. Will I really burn more fat working out less intensely?

I lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks, i do this everyday while only eating protein, extra lean meats and veggies. Cut out sugar, breads, pastas and starch. Only drink water and i take vitamins such as fish oil, vitamin c, garlic, cinnamon and multi vitamins.

I am so happy to find this workout. I get to the point I think it is getting to much then it backs off. Many videos are to easy. Many are to hard. I like the arm movements. I added XHIT Sexy back workout because I need to strengthen my back and I feel I got a great one hour routine.

Another question…I looove the workouts, don’t get me wrong. I do notice though that we work a lot of the same body parts more than one day in a row. I was always told that this isn’t necessarily ideal. I just want to know your thoughts and why you do it cuz I’m sure you have a reason:)

Ahhh Sydney you are brilliant to pair cardio with tabata. Tabata cardio 4 rounds to boot! This is the only way I can tolerate pilates. It’s not my favorite but I know that it’s really a great form of exercise. I’m enjoying unlikely pairing week. Love it in fact. I’ll see you tomorrow!

I’m so glad I found you I’m going to be honest I was so depressed about two months ago because I felt I let go of myself. I never weighed so much and I just felt so blaah about everything. I’m a stay at home Mommy/auntie and would just eat, stay in my PJs and focus on them all day everyday. One day I just had something kick in and decided I needed a change. Every day I would look on YouTube trying to find a workout to do and I finally found you!!!! Every single day I get so happy cause I see an upload from you and honestly feel Soo good.
