one more thing, I just want to tell everybody that at first it’s going to feel a little hard to do portion control because at first you’re going to fear that you won’t be satisfied with a little amount of food your plate but trust me it’s all in your head you will get used to it. you need to give it some time to let your stomach bag shrink back to its natural size which is the palm of your hand when we pile food on our plates and we gain weight we stretch out our stomach bags and that’s why we need a lot of food feel satiated but you start to practice portion control you will train your mind and body to eat small amounts of food and you’ll be able to drop the pounds and keep it off forever. I didn’t have to change anything in my diet I still make my husband and kids tacos for dinner spaghetti lasagna enchiladas Burgers and Fries but whatever I make no matter what I use portion control.

I eat way too much at the moment. These plates look so small compared to what I eat in a day. This is why I have gained 3 kilos during the last year. I eat delicious and very healthy stuff, only vegan, but the portion sizes slowly became humongous. Portion size creep! And you expressed what I feel and did not dare to admit: eating healthy stuff but overeating at the same time is damaging the body.
No need for portion control when the majority of your diet is whole grains fruits and vegetables
thank you for posting this video I was really struggling with trying to lose weight a couple weeks ago my husband was stressing that I need to eat less and I I didn’t want to believe it because I was eating healthy food. Sugar is quick energy and your body craves it because before we had easy access to sugary foods through the vending machines and supermarkets quick energy was essential to survival. So your body wants it because it’s job is to keep you alive and sugar is easy energy. There’s a part of your subconscious mind that says to eat what you can because you may not have anything later, but that’s not really true anymore; at least in a developed nation.
