New York Marathon, but I broke my ankle almost 4 years ago it took 3 to a complete recover but I had to start all over from scratch.
Love your bucket list choices and your positive energy.
I wish you’d shared more of your race and training, beyond the footage of you running past the camera. Also, how did you recover? You didn’t seem very tired for a marathon, I was surprised. You jogged it gently, but it’s still a really long run.
Have the most Sethalicious run mate!! Will follow you during the race.

Please do your group run wearing your race shorts with the gels in the pockets to see if the packets are going to rub/scratch/irritate your skin. If so, get a race belt with gel holders at the expo.
QOD.. I did New York three times (98, 99 and 2000) and US marathons have a special place in my heart.. so would love to do something like Boston or Chicago.. and can’t believe you put my ‘rhythm rhythm rhythm’ in the clip haha.. man, I shouted that out loud haha. Oh, man, that’s awesome! I ran my first marathon this year as well and had an experience similar to yours, I think, by the end I was dead tired, couldn’t think straight, I stopped running and had to walk for about 500 meters so when I was about 1,5km from finishing, this woman I knew ran past me and I thought: “I need to reach her, I need to finish” so I sprinted for my life to reach that final 1 km to the finish line! Oh, and I did pass the woman! haha!
