I’m gonna fast solely because this guy told me to. I’m kind of afraid not to now.
I am currently following your Muscle Building trainer and have been on Keto diet for 3 weeks, primarily because my Triglycerides and insulins were way high. I did a blood test this weekend and the levels have come down drastically. My question is how can I achieve muscle growth and still keep the Triglyceride and insulins low as carb seems to spiking both of them
Jeff you have an amazing channel holy crap. Thanks for everything you do my dude
Considering the scientific fact that dairy causes cancer and oesteoporosis.. and eating dead animals is direct cause of cancer.. this is stupid advice!
Hopefully performance enchancers will be safe in the future, without any negative sideffects. I believe this is totally possible since medical technology is improving everyday
I’ve always heard you’re supposed to eat first thing in the AM to go from catabolic to anabolic, now I hear all about intermittent fasting, which one is correct? How do I get bigger muscularly while also losing fat/my gut etc? I don’t just want to be lean, I want to be lean and huge.
I ended up buying my cycle off. prestigepharmastore.com in the end a friend recommended on here. I was very skeptical at first, ordering it online so ofc I was abit worried like anyone would be. I had a lot..and I mean A LOT questions to ask, these guys always replied within the day on the live chat or via email and they were more than happy to answer everything without delay. One of the issues my friend had before when ordering online with other companies was the lack of correspondence and communication. It’s really important to give customers peace and they delivered just that. I ordered 3 test concord just to cruise on through the lockdown period, helped hold onto some gains. The gear took under a week to arrive which is super quick considering all the delivery delays with this corona situation. I’ve been able to put on almost 14 ibs even in lock down with little excess to a gym My strength, sense of well being,PRs,confidence..everything is through the roof. Prestige Pharma is LEGIT.

Ive been trying two weeks fucking sucks I want to eat some sugar baby
Like anything, people can go to the extreme, and the reasons for doing so creates a huge list of motivations. Regardless of the root of motivation, there are still principles of health, including extreme diets, drugs, including a very unhealthy mental attitude that is involved in this, as in any type of sports. The word obsession comes to mind, and if anything takes over one’s life in priority over one’s own health, let alone family and friends then the whole process needs to be reevaluated, along with a realistic perspective of where this will take one down the road. Addictions come in many forms and so does brainwashing with regard to self-image and the extent one will go to reach such unnatural and sometimes grotesque results, JUST to standout in a crowd or win some trophy… and then live in pain and ill-health for the what time remains. There is a lot to be said for quality of time, and there are horror stories after horror stories again, in any sport where an individual totally gets out of control and destroys themself. Is it really worth it? That is a question often asked long after it should have been, and unfortunately, many times the answer is NO.
oh my fucking god, you are knocking saturated fats too?! Shut up. you are embarassing yourself. You have no clue what a real ketogenic diet is.
Soooo practicly theres no risk for me cuz i got anger issues? And btw anger makes u stronger so dont try to avoid it
My experience is a help no.. I had to do cardio for 6 months straight ( 3 miles for 5 days ) to get my physique back
Just eat until you aren’t hungry anymore. But still eat clean. I ate tons of Vietnamese takeout and tons of chicken fried rice.
I’m currently doing the anabolic diet which is along the same lines as ketogenic diet… it’s ketogenic Monday through Friday then carb load Saturday and Sunday… now when I’m in ketosis I burn lots fat but I feel weaker in the gym low energy.. foods are very limited so have to be really strict
I do 36 fast and 2 hours feed. I lost about 28kilos just in about a month, i wish i can tell yall my story with videos
Is power of nature not better than drugs? Or people are just lazy
Just ate a pound of butter and drank a litre of cream..Keto is great! Although my heart has stopped beating and I can’t feel my legs, I’m sure it’ll be fine with more fat
Bullshit, FUCK YOUR BOSS, never let a fucking penpushing “in the interests of the business” micro-manager tell you not to eat and interrupt the process of looking, feeling, being AMAZING AND HEALTHY, I’d take a new job over adhering to that shit any day.
If a muslim can prey 5 times per day, I can eat 5 times per day, my gains mean more to me than his god does to him, I GUARANTEE THAT
So just take steroids and enlargement pills hahah, great hack, it’s all we care about anyway lmao
the reason steroids have a bad rep is from all the yahoos abusing them and not doing them right. look at male celebrities 90% of them are on testosterone and your kidding yourself if you think there not. they are fine. if you dont abuse them you will be fine
I misread the word “bear”, thought it said “beer”, and now I am an alcoholic.
I have been doing keto off and on for a couple years for weight management, ptsd symptoms and just because i feel great but ive lost a bit too much weight and more importantly ive lost considerably more muscle mass than i wanted. Im in good shape because i work two very physical jobs but id like to start going to the gym again. Ive been putting it off for a few months because i have been worried about how much muscle i might lose. Any tips? Cyclical keto sounds like a good idea but im not sure how that actually works. Also is there a regimen of bodybuilding that works better for keto over other lifestyles?
How does fasting affect muscle mass? Will the body break down muscle for energy while fasting?
Lol sometimes I have to ignore stuff that is completely irrelevant
You make me feel more secure because you ain’t some 6’4 fitness guy
Does growth hormone increase on intermittent fasting and Leto to help build muscle?
Funny!!!! I have just adjusted over to the Keto, and then I wondered “I wonder if Kris does this?” as I have been following you since Dec 2011.
By the way the music in the background of your videos totally sucks…
With roids I did few cycles and got really little to no sides except for really pungent fierce smelling flatulence and that was why I stopped doing them. I train at a gym, I don’t have the room for lots of equipment at home. In busy gym I had several hugely embarrassing flatulence incidents e.g. one time there was a lot of girls in the gym who had just come out of an exercise class, I was doing squats on smith machine and started doing really violent sustained farts and at first they laughed though some looked disgusted but as the really foul pungent smell hit them they moved away and some even went outside just to get fresh air. I was so red faced, I actually went to the locker room got changed and went home. So seriously beware of really powerful sustained flatulence that has a very strong pungent smell that hangs around for minutes, that might be no big deal if you are at home training but if at a public gym be wary of that! After I stopped roids cycle I never got such flatulence again so it was definitely caused by doing them.
I am not one of those people who say that there is one diet that fits all; however, you have keto all wrong. Not sure who taught you the principles of keto. I don’t do dairy or focus on eating fats. I do use some extra virgin olive oil and that is it. No butter….etc. I am always in ketosis eating a whole food plant oriented diet.
I eat at least 8 10 vegetables/fruit/nuts/seeds per day. Asparagus, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Spinach, Different types of Kale, Bok Choy, Chard, Arugula, Okra, Avocado (fruit), and on and on. Where are you getting this notion of no fiber or low fiber on a keto diet?
Secondly, I eat quality meats…local grass-fed beef, local-grass-fed liver, pasture-raised eggs, pasture-raised chicken, wild-caught salmon, wild-caught cod, wild-caught sardines
I focus on whole food, quality protein, and a variety of vegetables…..plus things like DARK CHOCOLATE 90++ cacao
I check my blood glucose and blood ketones daily and am always in deep ketosis. I monitor my GKI index for therapeutic levels. Studies are showing that Sugar/Glucose metabolism is causing major issues for some people who appear healthy. Your advice may be dangerous for some people.
Just because I eliminate processed foods and sugary/starchy things does not make the diet bad. It keeps my insulin in check. I have no highs and lows. Are you suggesting that a person should not eliminate these foods?
And, I don’t focus on eating fat. It is quite the contrary. Where are you getting that from? You are just not informed about all the ways that a person can do keto or the benefits.
All of my metabolic markers have improved
And no I was not overweight or unhealthy prior to the diet. The diet improves things like inflammation.
It is not for everyone. But your perception of this high-fat approach to keto with eliminating quality Whole Foods is just wrong
Lastly, I eat well and enjoy my food!!! I don’t feel restricted in any way. This diet has saved lives….literally. Look at Dr. Dale Bredesen’s research…
when no matter how much gainz you get you’re still a tiny manlet xD
First time here, don’t usually subscribe to channels but the information and quality of the video forced my hand. I have to subscribe now
“elite athletes”… sounds like a bunch of cardio to me most sports in general dont provoke muscle bulk in bodybuilding terms, the type of workout that is being done makes the difference in how much muscle would be gained. Maybe do the study on bodybuilders and actually record reps, sets etc…
U should never use steroids, its cheating
And never brag about ur steroid made muscles infront of natural bodybuilders
I’m fasting from 8pm to 4pm it works for me I eat 75% raw because I love it I eat 10 % junk 5% nuts 10% eggs meats
Keto diet makes me healthy, keto diet fix my type 2 diabetics, keto reverse it I’m no longer under medication , just by removing sugar and by eating low carb
its crazy how them shits bulk tf outta ppl took me 2 months just to start seeing my arms form lmao
Roid Rage is not a medical term, studies actually show that athletes had “roid rage” before they even used steroids for the first time. So steroids affecting your behavior is completely inaccurate.
Its all great reducing calories and intermittent fasting i do it everyday and its good but honestly any fast longer than 20-24 hours loses its benefits why….because stress levels reach high levels cortisol levels rise and hormones become imbalanced and you feel shit and anxiety kicks in ive done 16 hours 24 hours 48 hours and honestly the best for me long term was 20-24 hours key being making sure you eat before you go sleep because trying to sleep on an empty stomach is near impossible now the most efficient and best fast is the fast where you dont eat and drink from sunrise to sunset the dry fast you burn the most in a shorter time frame muslims practice this in ramadan for a whole month and what happens is the body because it isnt getting any water or food it starts to break down fat to produce oxygen it really is the best even doing 3 to 5 days of dry fast is equivelent to 2 to 3 weeks of water fast trust me ive tried many different types of fasts ramadan is coming up in a couple of weeks and going to make good use of that period to become spirtually closer to God and to clense the body its basically dry fasting from sunrise to sunset everyday for a month
Bear mode is the only mode for year round natty training IMO.
I support no injustice in the video and comment section if there is any
Jeff how the hec you eat all that pasta and still look so good!?
So basically if your tall like me and hate the idea of a diet you need to go bear mode especially if you dont care what you look like with my shirt off, got it thanks.
I tried it for 6 months then I had a bad case of Diverticulitis I was done after that. It also made family get togethers suck because I couldn’t eat any of the food except if it was keto that was usually just the meat. The way I eat now is 6-8x a day and make adjustments when we eat out or have get togethers. I feel alot better!
Transformers sounds great!:p I don’t compete, so it is sometimes hard to explain what category I fit into. I’m not a runner, cyclist, athlete, or bodybuilder. I just like to work out and exercise, be it lifting or volleyball or doing adventure races. Wonder if there is a name for guys/girls like us? Gym rat doesn’t seem fitting.
Sometimes we all need to just take a step back and breathe. Thanks for all the really down to earth, helpful information!
Thank you Coach Jeff. GOD BLESS always
P.S: Don’t SKIP ADS. thank you guys! =)
keto helped me lost 20 pounds of fat and I’m still losing. I also had more energy during workouts on an empty stomach in the mornings. And no crash after lunch and a lot less hunger
Last vid I made was me at 219lbs. I’m 5’11” so to look as massive as you I’d have to be around 245lbs. I’m finally getting past my plateau thanks to my metabolism slowing down. I should be 245lbs in a few weeks thanks to serious mass. It has a lot of sugar but I need the calories lol. I think everyone should try dirty bulking to gain mass.
Great video, I was 245lb midst of last year And now I’m 190lb And I’m 6 ft 2. I do isometrics and Cardio at 190 I still have a fatty stomach fatty back I can’t seem to lose anymore weight. Would you recommend the keto diet to lose the last 10lb? That is a stubborn fatty area I can get rid of!
I watch Dr Berg and he says carbs negativity towards the brain, the skin, the muscle, the hair. Then I’m like okay. But then I watch athlean x dude and he looks awesome and sounds mentally sharp idfk anymore what to believe…it’s really confusing and discouraging to not know what direction to take, nevermind the discipline…
still, smoking and drinking is waaaay more dangouris. Thats still dosent mean you should use them…
1:44
watched up to that. thats all i need to hear! see you guys later im gonna get JACKED UP!
Fiber and carbs are completely non essential to human health
Intermittent fasting does work..as long as you don’t eat like a hog during your eating window.
…eating 9 meals a day!!! wtf… all fitness people count drinking a protein sake or whatever you drink… as a meal… well is not… and that is taking you 1 min to drink-it! or maybe 2. I eat 3 meals a day… one big breakfast and 2 other important meals… and in between them just snacks (like a some veges or an apple or a protein shake or bar or whatever i have) but those are not meals are just snacks… not having time to eat 9 meals is bullshit… for a snickers you have time huh?
Jeff, you talk about fiber. Can you more specific? Soluable or unsoluable? Unsoluable fiber is good for pooping but isnt soluable fiber potentially dangerous? There hasnt been any direct correlation to soluable fiber and good health that I know of and ppl even seem to think it can help plague stick the artery walls. Thoughts?
The stuff might make u look good but the girls won’t be liking ur balls
Keto works for me. Been going strong for several years. I started it high fat but now I do high protein and moderate fat. I’ve tried going back to high carb lower fat diet and my body does not respond well. I’ve gained alot muscle and lost alot of fat. I think everyone is different. It depends on how our bodies work.
im walking around miserable CUZ IM FCKN DIETING TILL MOTHER EFFIN JULY!….lol
i’ve been doing keto for about 1 week but i can see myself doing keto diet for life. all i can say is that my head feel more focused or better mentally.I used to have headache all the time but when i enter keto diet it all gone. I eat less but feel more full. not sure if it gonna maximize muscle gain because i do feel my workout not as intense as when i am in normal diet.
I read lots of superb reviews on the internet about how exactly Custokebon Secrets (look on google search engine) can assist you lost crazy amounts of weight. Has anybody tried this popular weight loss system?
TL;DR: There’s no difference in strength, but there is in muscle size because of glycogen loss (until you consume carbs again).
I am not a scientist nor any kind of expert on the topic of keto diet but I have to say I disagree on the point that muscle performance decreases, I was on keto for 2 years and I did indeed lose glycogen, my muscles did appear quite a bit smaller and my weight was lower (72kg, 10% body fat). However, my strength was only diminished while my body was adapting to keto diet (first few weeks or so and after that I was lifting the same and even improved my performance over time) and as soon as I went off keto diet, my glycogen was back and I could literally see my muscle size increase the same day, but my muscle performance did not increase AT ALL when consuming carbs again.
Hi Kris a great video you started
CONS
1. I also experienced that it is not a good muscle building diet means the result are very slowly seen and you don’t feel the pump.
PROS
1. I lost the craving for sugar that much now.
2. Lost inflammation gut health also improved.
3. Able to do longer workout without that much of fatigue or loss of energy.
4. One of the most important reason is that I respond much better to carbs after I finish my keto and go back to the same bodybuilding eating style. I noticed that I absorb the food better and it feels good.
I do keto as a way to reduce inflammation and change the diet a bit.
That is my experience with keto
I’ve been on Keto for 6 yrs, and my penis went from 5 inches to 9 inches. Pretty girls ask for my ph# all the time. And my salary tripled within 4 months
I don’t believe in macro-exclusionary diets either. That’s why alcohol makes up 75% of my carbs.
I have been looking into Keto as it gets thrown around so much these days, I have never tried it and never will. IMO it’s unhealthy, unsustainable and it just doesn’t make sense.
I totally agree with this dude, you should always aim to get all three in your diet, lean protein, healthy fats and a small portion of complex carbs. Doesn’t have to be much, but you should still eat some carbs for fibre and energy. If you skip the complex carbs then you are also missing out on some key vitamins and minerals.
Having said that, I regularly fast for 16 hours and only eat during 8, so I’m not even sure if I ever reach Ketosis whilst fasting, but my diet mainly consists of high protein, some fats and some carbs mainly from vegetables such as broccoli, leafy greens and also from jumbo oats. Rice and the likes I try and keep to a very minimum and even when I do eat it, I have very little.
The most important thing IMO is to be at a calorie deficit, and if I ever go over my daily calorie intake limit, then I usually burn it off with some cardio, so I am back at a deficit.
I did keto for like three weeks, I lost a lot of weight but it kinda messed up my mentality when it comes to eating. Like I would rarely eat and I started only eating one time a day. Once I lost the weight I wanted to lose even more so I started eating less. Just yesterday I stopped keto, at least for now probably.
50% of gym goers use steroids? After hearing that, no sense in continuing to watch the video. These guys clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.
Any downside or unhealthy risk by doing this? It sounds great
I personally wouldn’t subscribe to this. I already am not a morning person and to not jump start myself in the a.m. would be counterproductive. 8 hours of fasting during sleep…and then not having a heavy meal in the evening would do me just fine. Like someone said…everyone is different…according to the anthropological makeup of thier bodies. I don’t believe you can set one standard for everyone. It’s simple as if you see yourself gaining weight, you have to adjust what you’re doing in order to fight it.
The Keto eating plan long term was a car crash for me and a relative of mine. I developed very bad shooting leg pain just before sleeping at night, when it wasn’t just before I slept it happened while I was sleeping instead and woke me up. This was after making sure all my nutrition was on point including mineral consumption. The pain from following a keto eating plan from Thomas D led me to broken sleep, walking with leg pain, worrying about the leg pain before and during sleep and crashes in energy throughout the day. I would recommend avoiding it at all cost.
I think you’ve really got it wrong. It’s not a high fat. It’s a diet rich in protein and intrinsic fats. And it’s the best
Everything is may, learn how to PCT and you will not get any symptons.
I have discovered sustainable Keto during this lockdown, was expecting to have loads of micro aggressions after watching this video but honestly you’ve made some great general arguments. I too have questions on the efficacy of keto for muscle gain, I know it coupled with IF and OMAD during a cut period is anecdotally incredible if you can make it sustainable. Im sure you don’t subscribe to all those buzz word techniques I mentioned but as you said with Your best point… ‘If it works great’. Ultimately we are all experts on our own bodies, some people just experiment more, some people react differently and at the end of the day when I’m in the gym bulking I happen to eat very similarly to you as I have seen from your in-kitchen videos, common sense should prevail regardless of your Macro breakdown keeping our overall diet clean and non processed is always your best diet no matter what your macros or goals are. One thing I know you beat me for if your gym work rate! I’m not always your biggest fan as you’re blunt and maybe a little aggressive when using clickbaity… but as I said I can never fault your workrate or genuine passion for good health
How anyone pushed the Dislike button is beyond me You were VERY FAIR and to the point of it being what works for You( individuals).
Great video bro, well spoken and informative without being one sided.
Explaining keto and fasting to my wog family is like talking to a fucking wall
Your information is do misleading. Surplus doesn’t have come from carbs, you can use fats and proteins to increase your surplus as well
Hi Mate, I have made a couples of order with biotechnutripharma.com. their product quality is good and they provide all documents
and they got experince in shipping and packaging. i recomment.
I started with 18:6, now I’m in 17:7 I’m increasing it soon to 16:8 I also take this detox drink cuz of my indigestion
Then your body goes into starvation mode because it doesn’t know when the next meal is going to come by and stores everything as far
I think his main point is true, you have to be able to stick with it. However there are a lot of misconceptions about Keto. First it is NOT easy to start keto, first week or month you will be craving bread and carbs sweets etc like you’re starving even when you’re filled with steak and butter. Second, only the first phase of the diet is 5% carbs 20% protein 80% fat, and yes you will lose muscle, but long term you can increase your carbs a bit and protein significantly. Long term it actually does have muscle sparing effects since you’re body is more geared to burn it’s own fat rather than muscle. One thing I never hear anyone mention is that bodybuilders and athletes can eat more carbs and protein on the keto diet than sedentary people. If a bodybuilder burns 100 more carbs per day for energy and 100 more grams of protein for rebuilding muscle, then ad that to the Keto diet and what’s left over is the same equation you started with in the first place, plain keto diet.
Kris please try the Carnivore Diet! I would love your feedback!
He had me in the first half….ngl but I’ll do it the natural way wish me luck I’m already down 85 lbs
I swear, in Bearmode you really look better and above all more masculine than when you are lean.
Hi Kris, I lost lots of hair while doing the keto diet. Is there any way to recover it?
I’ve a Fast Metabolism already. Difficult to build muscle. So Intermittent would work for me? So I’d have to increase the calories in those 8 hours more than my 12hr’s calories I used to take?
I do keto because when I eat eat carbs I get inflammation/ arthritis most my fats come from nuts not processed food.
Dude your an ectomorph. You can eat a whole pizza a day by yourself and still have a six pack as long as u train. Keto is more for endomorphs, when it comes to dieting it is not one size fits all
All I know is I did keto for a few months and got more shredded than I’ve ever been in my life. What I found out though is that I had to eat a lot of protein (like more than I expected), and workout EXPLOSIVELY! But I have horrible genetics.
I followed keto in February 2016.
I heard keto with IF isn’t healthy is true or just a myth.
Following keto for longer periods makes fatty liver?
What percentage of carbs we can take? I go 5-10% of macros
If my TEE is 2800 and BMR is around 2000 what calories deficit we can do?
Wow jeff
Its a most informative video till date for me about all myths..
But only now one question here…
Is it true that fat loss speed is more in keto than low carb or low calorie diet??
Not that first few days of water loss,i m talking abt speed after that water loss days
Hey guys I found a legit source if anyone wants top quality gears you can txt directly or WhatsApp this
#: +1(202) 643-1409
I have been dealing with this source for 3 years and never had any problems with my package. I did my first cycle from this source and that’s how I got my body transformation he even provides good diet and workout plans.
Only use keto for first 2 weeks at the beginning of a diet so your body learns to use fat as an energy source and get that initial weight loss off the jump from water weight and a bit of fat.
Fibre isn’t an issue…take fibre supp or eat food high in fibre, like most the veggies you can eat on keto.
He is concerned that his job won’t make money if number of people turn ketogenic!!
As a trans guy… this doesn’t sound bad at all. I’m already depressed, and facial hair and lower voice is a good thing. Probably cheaper than testosterone anyway.
I used Keto but definitely can say it’s more of a time frame diet unless you prefer to limit carbs every other day is sustainable once you hit the body fat level you want. IF is easy long term if you pick the window you prefer
A tattooed ripped doctor and metal. You sure know how to get me to like a video.
I can’t do anything dawg, I deadass poop out everything I eat
True that. If don’t have anything to compare your energy level but except when you were fat, of course yo gonna feel better. Great explanation.
i feel like low carb is good because of how sustainable it is. It plays a lot into hormone regulation, but essentially your energy levels stay high though out the day, you dont get those crashes or sugar cravings, and its the only time i have been able to let myself eat as much as i feel like, and not get fat, because my body feels satieted and hormonally my body is regulated hunger well.
What about your video saying eat every 2 or 3 hours all day.. you’re a douche.. you’re just a salesman
what are you like 4 foot 9!? your voice sounds like a small mouse
Thanks for the video, always reliable source of knowledge. My question would be how did your endurance and strength in your workouts change in a keto diet.
I’ve gone through IF, it wasn’t great as I would be hungry most of the time for the first month. After that month it started to get better. Mental focus? Not so sure about that, but my mood and motivation definitely improved. Weight/fat loss? Gone from 16% to 10% body fat in 2-3 months without losing weight. I trained 5 days a week, cooked/prepared meals and watched my macros on top of that.
That’s my experience with 16/8 IF. It won’t hurt you unless you’ve got type 1 diabetes or some neurological issues.
If you have really high body fat, it’s definitely a good idea to cut out carbs. It’s not something you should make as a permanent life style though. It’s a great “diet” though, I get to eat plenty of steak, pork, chicken, eggs and cheese. I’ve cut a ton of weight doing it short term.
ketones preserve muscle mass but you must enter the ketogenic state first. people simply think high fat is the key no it’s not.
it’s not about diet it’s about it’s effects your focus should be to be in ketosis state not to obsess over carb and far ratio, i can eat shit ton of carb and get into ketosis next day cause i know how to, people usually don’t. one should research more and apply that to real life then jump to conclusion.
I did a long term keto dieet and lemme tell you longest hour of my life
Not sure if I’m totally keto but I cannot do carbs makes me suicidal
I’d really like Jeff and Ted Naiman to talk and make a video together.
WENT FROM 220 POUNDS OF FAT TO 185 OF MORE. MUSCLE. TONE LOL AND STILL TRYING. CHECK OUT. MY PULL UPS VIDEO ON MY PAGE TELL ME WHAT U THINK
hahah yeah I hear ya and I do agree it is a huge stress reliever!
Believe me.Keto is all fine and feeling good until you reach a point where you are moderately lean and need to eat ton of good low carb shit to mainatin muscle. At that point supplementing or regularly spending tons of money on quality food is the only way to continue.
Jeff is the only guy that can go bear mode and still have a flat stomach and look awesome
The Keto Diet has changed my entire life, I’ve been 3 months with this diet and with a supplement that has helped me a lot, I have lost already 30lbs, in 31 days. This is a dream come true, I mean it!
I heard about the Keto meal plan and it didn’t make sense so I put it off for a long time. The concept grew and a few months ago I started it on the fly. It was a spontaneous decision. I maxed out losing 15 pounds of water weight/some fat. And that was in a few months and it served it’s purpose. Like anything else there’s a balance and I every once in awhile I’ll eat a meal with sweet potato or some other carb. It’s like one day I’m keto, another day carnivore, and then South Beach. I think we need some carbs for the reason Jeff explained. Now do we need it 3 or more times a day spiking our blood sugar to new heights. No, I’m still open to new ideas and moderation plus common sense goes a long ways.
The only doctor that I know who looks like a professional wrestler.
If you think steroids with make u bigger your right but after it’s done IT RUINS UR LIFE DONT TAKE THEMMMMMMMMMM
2:20 in you lifted up your shirt and showed your abs. I know you advocate for a balanced macro/micro sustainable eating plan, but beyond appearance and considering health more than striations or inflammation more than muscle belly fullness, do you still think that a higher carb intake is as healthy for a person past the desire of simply trying to look lean?
I agree with everything Jeff says until about 6:00 where he talks about people who naturally feel better on the keto diet. His logic is that these people were so out of shape that any diet change they would have made would have made them feel better. Jeff is wrong here.. what he doesn’t understand (and he honestly states that he has never tried the Keto diet) is that when you are on it your energy levels during the day are not in flux. You don’t crash after meals, you don’t feel tired at 7pm… in fact getting to sleep can be rather difficult the first couple months because your energy levels are so much higher than you are used to.
I am In fairly good shape and work out 6 days a week.. I tried Keto mostly because I wanted to see if I could use it to get the last 10 stubborn lbs off that I wanted. Yes it worked… and one of the very important lessons I learned is that keeping your carb intake low can really help you feel better on a daily basis. While I don’t believe that less than 25 g of carbs a day is sustainable for years I do belive that 60g or less is. Jeff is very right about one thing… and it’s something you need to weigh against the keto diet…. The intensity of your workouts will suffer significantly… But I do know people that never worked out that intense anyway. For them I would suggest keto for 6 months or so followed by a plan where they just naturally keep a close eye on the amount of carbs they eat.
I use keto for the week leading up to weigh-ins for a fight. Losing the stored glycogen and water helps me make weight.
Technically, a Ketogenic diet is any diet that puts your body in to a state of nutritional ketosis. After much trial and error I’ve discovered I’m essentially carbohydrate intolerant, making Keto a good fit for me.
our bodies are not meant to diet. Our bodies our made to eat balanced meals and exercise. The diet scene is trendy hyperbole and always has trade-offs.
I have been doing a keto diet for over 2 years I lost over 50kg and I love it I has saved me from sugar I now no longer need it in my life
Did keto for 4 months lost weight hunger went way down! But training sucked the whole time! It has its place but not a long term plan unless you have health problems that require keto. Great video Kris

I have the same diet for 15 years. Massive breakfast everything I want no meats chicken. Fruits waffles pancakes vegetables cereals. Lunch small amount and dinner small like my lunch.
Would you be able to retain muscle if you modify the keto diet and go for a 40/40/20 ratio of your macronutrients? (P/F/C)
Kris if you just have salt shot before your workout then you’ll get a great pump from it
Shrinking balls, man tidies, and acne makes it a no go for me ✌
Hey guys I’m trying to gain HEALTHY weight I work out 6 days a week for 1 hour at high reps. I weigh 157 pounds and 5’10 If use this diet but keep my 3188 calories a day will I start to see more definition in my body? Also will I continue to gain weight which is my goal as well
The thing with keto and training is that, yes, for the first few months, your training will suck. Your body is transitioning and basically rebuilding with a new source of fuel. However, in time, it will pay off. I did no exercise for the first year I was on keto and finally decided to start weight training. I have no problems with strength or stamina during my workouts and my recovery time is awesome. I’m seeing great definition on my body too. I think once you pass the transition, you will find your workouts and growth will be better than before. You just have to give it time.
If you’re working out and managing your calorie intake, there’s no real need to diet.
While he was mentioning the fats he consumed I was wondering to my self “that’s what I eat every day” and then he said “Mediterranean” and I’m like “oooh I live in the Mediterranean lol”
I read loads of superb opinions on the net about how Custokebon Secrets can help you lost tons of weight. Has anybody tried using this popular weight loss method?
Did Keto for a week. Worst week of my life. I gave up and aet a donut. Went back to counting macros now I’m a happier human being.
I JUST WANNA START BY SAYING (..THANK YOU..)…..FOR TAKING TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY TO MAKE THESE VIDEOS FOR US YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL AND YES WORKING OUT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE ITS SOMETIMES HARD TO MAKE TIME FOR MY SELF SINCE I WORK FULL TIME AND A FATHER OF 2 LITTLE ONES BUT ITS DEFINITELY WORTHWHILE
I used Keto as a hack for first 20lbs. then transitioned into a low carb ‘lifestyle’. I have lost 40lbs. and kept it off for 3 years.
Great video Jeff! I’ve been keto almost 3 years but I take break. Sometimes I’ll do 2-6 weeks eating carbs but I have skin issues. When I eat more carbs my eczema breaks out. Keto makes my skin look better and for vanity sake I stick to it.
lost 10 pounds in a month using IF with 5x training/week. 20% to 18% BF. not bad
Anybody know what is Custokebon Secrets about? I hear a lot of people lost lots of weight with Custokebon Secrets (search on google).
what i dont have to carry my food with me?…lol i wish…my wife thinks im retarded cuz i eat or take some almonds and a protein shake everywhere i go….lol…clueless biootch…jk
I’m in permanent bear mode. When I don’t pay attention to my diet I tend to get big and lift heavy weights. When I diet, despite a moderate caloric intake and still lifting the same weights, I can never get a six pack. My muscles just get smaller and I end up getting more fatigued, and looking worse. No payoff.
I was wondering why Jeff sounds out of breath and apparently it’s because he doesn’t do cardio
Legend has it hes still walking down that beach in 1 direction
Does Erectodom Secrets really help to solve your erectile dysfunction problem? I have read many good stuff about this popular erectile dysfunction natural treatment.
15% of gym goers hahahahahahahaha so this is a comedy video, i see:D
No don’t try isolation movements, when you’re a beginner you should be going for the basic movements, like, Push ups, Pull ups, Body weight squats if you’re a complete beginner.
But if you can lift a good amount then design you’re workout around the compound movements of Bench Press, Deadlift and Squat.
I haven’t eaten in 52 days and I feel greattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttgdrdg©©hrdbrdlΩ˚vfjkncvbnmnbjkvdgagrrfzz
never ever liston to this guy people he supports body building, those guys knows nothing about human heart which controls blood in vanes that gus knows nothing about what happends with wwe wrestlers and raw they push there bodies to there last limits and even instead of that its actually not enough by saying just push here limits its harmful for man young is good but it too requires limits not to much only then you are save.
I love intermittent fasting and feel great, but I’m noticing significant hair loss. Anyone else experiencing this?
I was down to take some steroids until I heard them side effects
First time I left the banner ad on the screenhoping it might hide his arms a bit
the music in the background is too loud and distracting can you turn it down please
Dame could you be any uglier with your tattoos? Creep out man!
Anyone else pissed off that he’s wearing his belt upside down in the workout clips
Jeff I agree with your main point on individually finding the right diet, but you didn’t mention by far the most profound benefit of the Keto diet (or what Keto theories probably most commonly lead to a low carb approach combined with Intermittent Fasting), and that is overcoming Insulin Resistance, redefining Insulin Sensitivity, and ultimately providing the means to cure Type 2 Diabetes. Overcoming and defeating Type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease is one hell of a golden bullet. But don’t take my word, Dr Jason Fung has the clinical experience and the facts if anyone is interested.
haha thanks a lot my man appreciate it! now LIKE MY SHYT! 😉
FASTING CAUSE MUSCLE LOSE
This dude talking about it is jacked how come he dosent lose muscle?
I feel happier after working out and feeling fit, not by feeling fat.
These should totally be legal. Monitored by a doctor, they can be great for improving one’s body.
For sports and competitions they should be banned based on whatever rule set they have. But the average joe should be able to use them without legal trouble.
I for one would take it for I already have small bawls, moobs, acne and don’t want to contribute to the world’s over population.
Have you tried “Ripped Max Stagger?” (Go Google it) It is a quick way for you to get ripped fast.
The tough part about intermittent fasting is when you have to eat for 8 hours, I usually give up within one hour. Theres only so much that you can fit in.
I started intermittent fasting january 2019. After 11 months, I have lost 25KG (56lbs) without exercize or anything. I just started fasting and after first month I saw result! The first 1-2 week was hard, but now its so easy cus your body is used to it.This is the best diet ever! Im so happy!
the science might say bulking doesn’t create more muscle but more weight thus can push heavier thus it would create more muscle indirectly, clean eating might just avoid an upset natural digestive system
2:47…ummm what? 9 meals in 2 hours!??? I am talking about the 9 meals thing…
Brilliant video!
Although I had swapped to keto and see lots of other benefits with it (mental focus, no hunger, feeling lighter and having more energy) I see the points. That said my diet is more like low carb, high protein and in / out of ketosis due to intermittent fasting and lots of exercise.:)
Hey Matty, that muscle shirt is daaamn tight. Do you experience any nipple chafe?
Great video, really informative and obviously you have a real talent for explaining what you’re all about! I watched your transformation vid… Your honesty works well, and your physique change is awesome… Keep these excellent vids coming… Cheers… Steve
Did a Ketogenic diet for over a month…1.Felt really good 2.Strength was consistent throughout the day 3. Active Throughout the day. 4 But lost a lot of hair…..How do I protect my hair loss from Ketogenic diet is the Question. Thanks for you answer in advance Kris…Big fan…love from Hyderabad
Idk much about this stuff, I lift every day, I’m strong and only 120 pounds, I’m 14 years old and I’ve been trying to gain weight, all I’ve gained is muscle and 20 pounds from 100-120 lbs
The look makes me much more confident. BUt I wouldn’t say the lifestyle is enhancing my life. I’m making nice gains, several pounds a month. But the diet part is extremely difficult and constantly inconvenient, not to mention expensive. It’s taking my happiness. BUt being sedentary is worse for the ego.. Just being honest.
When ur young, u got tattoes,, that will look great. When u r getting old,…
Your tattoos look………………………………….awful.
How to remove muscle made by food that related to stroids like meat, milk?
Food change vegetables serials and Detox and little exercise like bike cycle, walking, swim can help? Its enough
watched enough to see that there are only good things. sold! thank you!
Can you go from fat to Bear mode I don’t want to be ripped I like the bear mode look right now I’m 300 lb at 5 ft 10 so I got a lot of work to do is it possible
Well,…..fasting is lifestyle for muslims.✌…….centre for everything.
I Do fasting 16 hours and after 24 hours… And again the same…. 16 hours and 24… I try not to eat many carbohydrates.. I eat only after my workout!!!!
I am 43, not fat but just want some lean muscle mass with exercise 3-4 days a week. If I do IF every alternate day, I do not feel good on the non fasting days. I want to do 16-8 everyday but afraid will not be right for my body type(mesomorph). Any advice?
The thing about keto is at first your performance goes down but after your body adapts and becomes more efficient and storing and using the small amount of carbs you intake then your performance goes back up and endurance is increased.
true Keto would be expensive and possibly hard to sustain, however 70-120G Carbs is more realistic and practical.
Of you want to gain weight and muscle for ectomorph, does intermittent fasting work? Switching from 6 meals a day to 16:8 will work?
I wonder what Jeff thinks about the Golden Era bodybuilding diet of Low Carb High protein and high fat. Cause i would like to really try it!
Ahman. I agree with all,you said. I,get so tired hearing people reading how they read every diet book out there. I immediately think, yeA, fad diets. Then ask, them if they, had read so so many books on the subject, would any of them actually be an accidemic nutrition book? I then explain why read fad books that come and go, or will only hyper focus on a minute little and single aspect, which is narrower from a nutrition book. It you are willing to read so many books then go strait to the primary first hand resource, accidemic nutrition book. At least there you know everything you read is a gold nugget. It is packed full of gold nuggets. And, that is all it covers are a welth of gold nugets information to how to do that approach from a proper informed source.
Some just go blank to such a simple statementm others will argue that will be too advanced and complicated for them to read. I,will ask them if they feel they, can read at a high school level. They will say yes. Then I point out, then what do you think freshmen classes at your university nutrition department is geared for as far as a persons reading ability. You guessed it, apperson who can read at an high school level. Hexk o have taken the course and read the bookm if you are in middle school, you should be able to read, understand and fallow it. Heck, I would not doube the samexis true for when I was in elementry. It is not a hard resdm and all science fact based. If they wantctoclearnxhow,to eat, then go to the link of information, an actual nutrition accidemic book. Not one of those barns and noble book, bit an university book.
Heck, I was doing that back when I first moved out to live on my own. I was working like crazy. Many, times 2 full time jobs. And, sometimes I would work 3 jobs at that time 2 full time and one part time. That was actually my high school graduation summer life. Right onto the work force, work, work, and more work. Back then I tried to fit in some collegem but, it did not work with me working so many jobs and so little sleep. I did not think I would ever go to college. But, there were many things I wanted to learn and understand. What did ilI do about it? Went to my university book store. Look at all the books they were selling for all the courdes they were teaching that semester. And, I would buy them to read. Heck,,at that time I hated reading. Vut, I was also hungry for answere to what and how to do something. I was not even your best reader at the time. I have two learning disabilities, and went through public school when they did not accommodate people with learning disabilities. With being dylecix and ADHD, attention deficit hyperactive disorder. Yep, a,double dose. It was just assumed i,was doing bad in school because of that which also in turned me into hating reading. Though I read these books anyways. Actually read them for enjoyment. I 1st tikexin my life,, I earned to enjoy reading. Later I was able to go to college, and ended up getting degree in those subjects I enjoyed tlreading so much.
So, if I say i could have very likely read those books in elementary school. And, have no problem understanding the accidemic books with 2 learning disability, there is a good chance you could do the same. So, dont use the excuse that you think it will be too complicated and difficult for you to read, just think of all the time you had waisted with reading fad diet books vs. an actual book on the sucject.
Crazy thing is I had personal trainers all telling me to eat 5-6 times a day…which I didn’t never accomplished cause that’s too much food and I’ll get full af and didn’t lose weight pretty much stayed the same weight. Did intermittent fasting for one week and lost 4 lbs. I do the 16/8 which is not hard since I’m not a big breakfast person
I think it’s hilarious and very hypocritical from BodyBuilding, which up until recently, encouraged everyone to eat 5-6 meals a day in small portions. And now that Intermittent Fasting is catching popularity, they are trying to market themselves in this field… what a joke!!
Pick a side and stick by it
You don’t mention how there are medications to manage the side effects
I’ve been doing 20:4 for
almost 3 weeks. Sometimes I feel a bit weaker for wanting to eat maybe an hour early. But otherwise Im good. I’ll give OMAD a go. I had abs in 2018 for the first time in my life but I fell into depression. Went from 11% 210lbs upto 275lbs now. Ugh.
I feel fasting cycles makes it easier for me to not snack all day. I’m worried if I do this type of thing I’ll plateau quicker though.
Excellent list of the pros and cons. I love the OMAD lifestyle, but even then I’ll have days here and there that ste 16 or 18 hrs, or just TMAD (2 meals a day)
My friends secretly Injected steroids on me
Which I recently knew I regret being friends with them
I have a question for you Jim stoppani, does it affect you taking a pre workout doing intermitting fasting.
Anabolic steroids for gaining muscle mass https://thebbpower.com/bulking-gain-weight Drugs for gaining muscle mass can significantly increase your results in bodybuilding.
Think this guy is the only one on youtube that does bodybuilding and is not on steroids. You can even see how he is calm and controlled. All of those other guys scream and go all alpha male from their steroid use. I really like your videos:)
I enjoyed it but my performance at the gym suffered a great deal due to the glycogen and water loss.
It is good if you do not really lift and need to lose a lot of body fat. Not recommended for guys who train for strength. You need carbs to do the heavy compound lifts.
So the basic message if it’s something you can actually stick to FOREVER, and it helps, then do it. The only problem he has with any nutrition plan is if it’s only temporary and cannot be sustained.
Need some new trainer to shake up things! Currently blasting throught DTP week 2:)
what happened to the casein before bed days and bcaas between meals?
I’m not quite keto but decided to do a high-fat, high-protein, very low-carb diet for just 2 weeks to shred just a little. My daily calories stayed the same (2000 kcal) and I tried to spread the fat fairly evenly throughout the day but slightly higher for breakfast and bedtime snack. I had my 6 meals nevertheless. PROS: waistline got a little smaller, muscles are showing a little more, mental awareness is raised. CONS: gym is unbearable w/o Pre-Kaged and even with that the same weights as before feel heavier, I get sugar-cravings some afternoons (which says a lot for someone who does not have much of a sweet tooth). But it’s only two weeks and tomorrow I’ll be back on carbs for fuel. First pre-workout meal: pasta!!!! Then: beans!

The concept is not 100% wrong, but 100% of lazy ass dudes will use this as a excuse to be fat year round.
I’d actually be interested in seeing what a diet would look for a teenager. I’d like to start looking into this for my son but the food choice would be tricky. How to make it fun for a younger person.
If he doesn’t eat till 4pm it’s sounds like is doing the warrior diet!
Started it 4yrs ago. First 2-3 months, my workouts sucked. Strength goes down and endurance. But on the 3rd month mark, all of a sudden, gaining my strength little by little. On the 5th month, hit my PRs and broke my PR on deadlift and squat. My endurance improved tremendously, finished half marathon in 1hr and 45mins.
I don’t have a question, but what I will say is that it’s very hard to follow. I tried it before, yes I lost some stomach fat, however I found it hard to follow as I have a family all doing different diets. Yes, it works and I’ve seen it, but not for me due to doing 3 different meal preps and a huge shopping list
Keto for over 4 years and regained lost performance after 4 months. Now able to get stronger as long as I push my calories which can be hard since not very hungry most of the time.
We hardly see any video of yours now a days. We would love to gain knowledge
With love Nepal
her is the link to WHY you SHOULD use Steroids https://youtu.be/vOtYajxJwYk
I’ve not a great taste for fatty food with the exception of a juicy grass fed steak. Bacon e.g. is not a thing to me. On contrary, starches make me feel satiated and taste good without fats, a cup of white rice is very tasty to me. Every time I tried keto, and I mean 6 months minimum, I felt crap. Ate a lot never being satited no matter the veggies (or not). The longer I could is the carnivore way, since I loooove meat. Nevertheless on the long (1.5y +) it made me lose energy and, as keto, made me fatter. I still can’t understand all these people saying they lost fat and gained muscles. Maybe if you are obese as starting point, or there are genetic differences?
Did you train fasted? And does your products not you out of ketosis? I’m going to be giving the keto diet a try after your 12 week challenge and was wondering if pre kaged would not me out of my fast or ketosis?
How bout a Keto mini cut? Would that be good for getting inflammation in check while cutting? 3-6 weeks?

4. It is very Convenient
I think, as an addendum to this video, there is a difference between a well formulated ketogenic diet and the stereotype of the Atkins diet. There are many forms of the ketogenic diet, but a well formulated diet does use fiber, all phytonutrients, etc, it’s not necessarily the fatty meats, eggs and bacon just no bread. There are also ways of using short term ketosis, IF, and longer term fasts, timing high carb meals which achieve the same benefits of long term ketosis, without some of the negatives.
If you take gonadotropin in cycle your testicles not shrink!!!facts.
The external shape and weight says nothing about your internal shape, your blood work. That said, if one is not constantly loading excessive amount of carbs just to maximize the performance or any other reason (pleasure) he is probably healthy enough.
Keto diet sure burning water, but also burning fat much more effectively than other methods because of the ketosis.
Performance I believe keto is mainly about the health, and not about performance. People sometime overvaluing their performance over their health causing them consuming some junk just for that. Please stop to do harm yourself just for performance. Prefer your health over performance. That said, while keto really can somewhat hurt the immidiate performance, being in ketosis actually benefit on a long exercise because you have constantly fat turning into ketones which provides constant energy even for prolonged periods, which is also eliminates the need of some energy/protein snacks in between.
Muscles under keto diet your muscles will visually look smaller, but that’s related to the water loss, and not directly related to the loss of power. Again, prefer your health over your lookings.
Sustainability not everyone can sustain a keto diet, but not necessarily for the reasons you think. The main concern is the variety of food allowed. If one is OK with the allowed food, then basically it can be more sustainable over other diets, because fat cause satiety much faster and for prolonged periods relative to carbs, it makes you to not eat as much and as frequent as in other carbs based diets. So one will eat less and all without additional hunger, thus it is much more sustainable.
Carbs and Fiber are unnecessary for the human being. At this point this is science.
Again, keto is mainly about the health. Not about the performance, not about the looking, and even not about the pleasure. It’s about eating for the nutritional value, it’s about the much better blood work and prevention of diabetes and all related diseases. Remember: loading excessive amount of carbs just to maximize the performance or looking or pleasure or any other reason can lead you to insuling resistence and then diseases even if you workout hard.

I do 18/6 = 12pm eat lunch and dinner at 6pm. But question what does that mean 6 hours feeding/fasted window? I eat at 6 so does that mean it’s tapping into fasting window? Been doing this for couple years now and had great success lowering my overall body composition.
Hey Matty you’re a nice bloke. Don’t make it like you have to apologize for what you enjoy doing. I go to the gym for myself., no one else. I enjoy the mental workout as much as the physical one. And yeah I want to look good but I am not fanatical about it. People have to realize their own reality.
Chill out people. As long as you do it in a healthy manner..like anything do it in a safe healthy reasonable way.
Thanks Matty.
haha yeah sleep has always been an issue for me lol. The AX is an Armani shirt
the look, looks amazing when filling in you shirt but i felt tired and had fog brain the whole time because of all the eating
Kris one more thing
I am on a keto right now and I love your supplements and they are kept with me prekaged, bcaa, glutamine, carnitine and hydracharge
Since I am on keto can you create a video on proper use of your supplements on keto or any suggestions please
Nice, balanced take. The big thing he’s attacking is about how Keto guys preach their diet as if it’s the only way to get lean, which really is annoying. Dr Berg makes some really really informative videos, but his advocation of Keto as the one true way is borders on the kind of lecturing you typically associate with religions.
I wanted to get myself some until he said my balls would shrink.
Cons of the Ketogenic diet for me was that there was no definite plan. I didn’t know how to structure my diet and what to eat. So it failed. If you can provide us with a sample diet, it would be great.
Have a look at this blog on steroids

A keto diet is meant for 3-4 months max. After that one should just stick to diet which is generally healthy and balanced
Can i make ketosis diet if i want to use stroides? I need answer about it
Your bear mode actually looks more visually appealing than your lean. IMO
Title should be: “reasons why you should be INTERMITTENTLY fasting”
Keto works in short bursts (2-3 months). That’s what im doing now, after covid19, i went from 18% BF to 15% in 1.5 months, as a 30y old man with NO exercise whatsoever
Hi I’m a 16 yr old guy and I’m pretty sure I’ve been going “bear mode” for the past two years, I am still relatively low body fat, should I continue with this?
call me crazy but i think bear is more aesthetic with your shirt off too
I do 23 and 1.
It’s pretty easy. But I barely lift.
(Especially during this pandemic).
I’ve been Keto dieting for 5 years, for the last 14 months I’ve been doin everything I’m supposed to do and… I still… NO problems for me.
Funny thing is that steroids are practically useless for people who don’t eat enough protein. Tetosterone mainly increases an amount proteins that your body can use, it doesn’t provide you of some superpower. So you should start eating properly before you take steroids 😉
Legends say his camera man is still walking backwards to this day
Nice informative video:) I haven’t been training very long and probably have somewhere between 20 25% bodyfat, my main goal in the first few months of training has been to get stronger and I haven’t really worried about getting leaner, however it has been a goal that’s kinda on the horizon and I’m now at the point where I’ve gotten a decent amount of strength increase and am starting to think about it more. I’ve not been too concerned about getting very lean, as in not necesarily aiming for the 10% region but I definitely want to go down at least to 15 20%, but my primarry goal is definitely still strength rather than physique. Given this I’m thinking that a very gradual fat loss just below maintanence calories is probably the best way to go, in order to maintain as much muscle mass as ppossible? Or should I do something a bit more substantial to get down to my goal BF% as fast as possible and then refocus on strength after?
I would like to see a video on how your supplementation changed while you were doing this
It is a great way to keep yourself in shape. I fast when I work out so it’s perfect I have a Ton of energy in the gym and I have it worked out where I ate not too long after the gym because I go to bed so early. It’s like this are usually eat for the last time around 6 o’clock maybe 630. I wake up Drink coffee have a pre-workout go to the gym in at 10:30 I eat and that’s 16 hours. Most people eat dinner for the last time and then go to bed about three hours and if you sleep eight hours you already got 11 or 12 hours in The books. You just have to wait a couple more hours and you’re good to go. I love working out I love cardio and I love lifting weights but if you don’t want to do that it could still work for you it’s amazing been using it for years
yeah man it’s rough although so many of us go through it at some point!
Cheesecake and chocolat milk♂️ you actually don’t know shit about nutrition..
it becomes second nature over time after so long you really dont have to spend all day to do this lifestyle it is just something on the side
thanks a lot, that’s the goal! make it a more enjoyable experience!
02:10 when he rised his shirt it was like a gang member rised his shirt to show his gun
Steriods also cause
Short temper
Hungry
Thick hair (If taken for long time)
Trust me(Experience)
Ketones are better then glucose, the body works much more efficiently on ketones.
Next Video: Is being natty worth it???? Science vs My Experience!!
Son:why’s my sister named rose?
Father:because your mother love roses

Jeff BEAR MODE ♂️
Stranger who tf are you
Jeff my name is Jeff (22 street voice over)
I prefer bear mode over being lean simply for having the freedom to eat whatever and whenever I want. I was still perfectly happy with how I looked. Yes a six pack looks awesome, but I take my shirt off in public so rarely that it’s not worth it to me.
I think bear mode is an EXCUSE for those who don’t know how to stay lean & ripped throughout the year
Looking through these comments is crazy how you’re doing the exact same thing as Stephanie’s ‘All In’ yet no one is calling you fat and unhealthy?
Why on Earth would you eat cheesecake to fuel your workout? There is literally nothing that your muscles can use, you’re just loading your blood with sugar. That’s like doing a line of cocaine and claiming it’s pre workout formula
Is it worth body building and go to the gym 3-5 times but am not my best at school and cant find a job right now… I really enjoy training and reaching my goals but it has a bad aspect on mu
This assessment mirrors my own experience with Keto. Started on a red meat focused carnivore diet for a couple of months supplementing vitamins and electrolytes, then switched to Keto and now on a paleo-ish diet and fast 10-14 hours every day. On the upside, felt the best Ive ever felt, dropped a ton of weight, bad acid reflux vanished, the joint swelling and trigger finger issues in my hands vanished, slept better, good strength and stamina and set a new personal record on row machine. Downside, it has been sub optimal for muscle growth, can be a pita to stay on diet. Switched back to my traditional diet for a couple of months to compare and the majority of the issues came back. Like the idea of carb cycling like another comment mentioned.
You know this guy talks really slowly when you put the video speed on two times and it sounds like he’s talking at a normal speed
*NO HOMO* But I couldn’t stop staring at your arms. Looking buff. Haha.
Eat CLEN
TREN hard
TEST your limits
DBOLish your goals
ANAVAR give up!
Oh, and dont forget to flex tho SARMS so you can WIN
As someone who is also 5’5″ I can say you look ridiculous. People our height should not bother with mass.
I’m on keto and I won’t reintroduce carbs until I’m able to afford a nutrition program like WildFit or Athlean-X that tells me how to do things in the right way.
I’ve seen about 20 of your videos. You look better with a higher body fat percentage. If you feel less energetic in a reasonable energy surplus, that’s odd. Moving is better than sitting, pretty much the secret to life.
Butter, lard, ghee is not causing heart disease stop lying. Olive oil is more dangerous for you than butter, especially when you cook with it and heat it up.
What is the best way to last longer in bed? I read many superb opinions on the net about how exactly Erectodom Secrets can help you solve your erectile dysfunction problem. Has anyone tried using this popular erectile dysfunction natural treatment?
On dirty bulking (not on this bear mode is essentially powerlifting without actually powerlifting):
It doesn’t speed up the process because you can’t gain an infinite amount of muscle and with this process of advancing your gains in strength and muscle fibre (no idea what you call that scientifally) already slowing down significantly after a few months, there really is no point in bulking like that. A clean bulk gets you the same amount of improvement but you don’t have to cut so radically, so overall, don’t dirty bulk. It’s just not worth it.
And on bear mode; it depends on your goal. You want to still look good naked? Don’t go bear mode.
You don’t care and just want to look big, even in big sweaters? Go bear mode. Done.
You choose the option depending on your opinions and needs.
Why would you take advice from someone as small as Alex? Thats mind boggling.
Rational, Moderation
Science…
that must be your diet. Jeff is absolutely right. And, no. I do not want to see him debate Delawer who is fake an not sincere
The way some people word their comments/questions is just insane. If you want Matty to help you, please PLEASE make sure what you leave on here makes sense….Not only is it hard to read, but it makes you look like a dumbass.
Carbs are fuel there is a reason your body likes carbs and uses carbs cause it is energy
This could almost get me off intermittent fasting. The main reason I do it is because making breakfast at 4am is a pain in the rump.
There are more than 3 million users in America. Odds are someone you work with cycles. It is a silent epidemic that people are not aware of, but it is actually extremely destructive to the user and the people within the user’s social circle. Most company drug tests do not look for steroids, so users find positions where they can comfortably cycle without fear of detection by testing. However, users are extremely easy to spot by men who know what it looks like.
Ah yes, bear mode. Reminds me of my maximum size CJ from GTA San Andreas.
I’m only doing keto to burn stubborn fat and lose excess water before a bodybuilding show this september if the shows are opening up again.
But even on a high carb diet I can lose 10kg/22lbs within two months… but Keto is great for getting rid of stubborn fat in theory, so I will experiment with it after I’m around 12% bodyfat and I’m at that stage stubborn fat needs to be burnt.
Yes I will lose some muscle volume, but that will go back after you carb load and pump up for a show.
What I’m basically saying is: Keto is a short term diet for cosmetic reasons to me.
Bodybuilding is really unhealthy. It takes a toll on you, mentally and physically. It damages your back, your tendons and joints. It drains so much energy from you and can have pretty bad consequences on your work and relationships.
The typical bodybuilder diet absolutely MUST be bad for health, we are just not meant to consume such ridiculous quantities of food, plain and simple. There will almost certainly be serious health problems eventually.
I appreciate his views, but there’s some misinformation here. Keto is not “80% fat.” It’s also not “less than 5% carbs.” It’s typically 70/25/5 fat, protein carbs, but you can adjust the macros slightly to your individual needs, and also include fruits such as berries. You also don’t need glycogen for energy when you’re running on ketones. I have much more energy now that I’m not on the glucose roller coaster ride.
Love your info X.
But their is a rite way and wrong way to do anything, if your not getting enough fiber on keto you need to do more research. And get more veggies in your keto diet, Your not eating rite.
Gluconeogenesis your body will make glycogen when it needs to.
I personally am adding weight to my lifts regularly, and my preferred work outs are heavy lifts 2-3 sets 8-15 reps 3-4 times a week 1.5 hours average hardly any cardio.
But like you said in previous vids I love my diet and can see doing it forever.
I was hoping for this video to be about actual health man, I’ve been bodybuilding for a while now I’ve been doing lots of research and found out that all the things bodybuilders eat and stuff could be harmful for your liver, could cause parasites, it links lots of other things together would you agree with all that or not?
Bad in the long run, old bodybuilders from the golden age getting heart surgeries as a result, including arnold.
Men, you really don’t need to be taking steroids. Why would you want to?
To do this diet n train at 5am,will I b able to have a protein shake strait after gym n den continue fast or will dat defeat the fast
Im literally 125 pounds. 6 feet tall peak of puberty and so slim. i want to be like 180 pounds. I want to gain 55 pounds by working out everyday. I’ll workout super hard my muscles will be sore a few hours then be literally fine again. Am i not working hard enough? it makes me want to turn to steroids because i’ve been losing hope. Any advice? i want the satisfaction of sore muscles the next day
Awesome video Kris. I’m doing Keto since November and I went from 207lb down to 183lb. I’m combining the diet with lots of high volume workouts like your 8 week program and cardio but you are right. I don’t have the same pump in my muscles. I’m also struggling to lose the middle section of my stomach yet. Overall lots of benefits from a brain function perspective, to weight loss to more energy is being great.
I would only ask people who “doubled muscle mass” in one year of keto diet and who writes similar things in comments: just explain how you did it with just 20% of protein calories daily? What a fantastic, I would say incredible results you have! Keto is just a fat burning diet with results of light regular aerobic and normal balanced food. It’s not a magic tablet. And it has it’s price. Just eat balanced food daily and start walking couple miles, for beginning, and you’ll change your life forever.
Interesting Fact: Shorter guys(5’7 and below) tend to build muscle faster than taller guys and lift heavier due having more muscles compressed on their body.
PROS AND CONS OF OMAD (ONE MEAL A DAY FOR 30 DAYS) WEIGHT LOSS EXPERIMENT
Have you seen Trim Fat Maximizer? (Go google it) It is a quick way to burn fat fast.
But how do you get big doing this? I’ve thought about trying it but I wanna get bigger not lose weight, can bodybuilders fast?
I’m doing it…I’m 16 and I only plan on taking 1 cycle over the summer coz I wrestle
Did you cut that shirt or was it made like that? It looks sick!
Wow that is a very interesting way to look at it and I heavily disagree but everyone has their own opinion
Keto
diet makes my muscle become smaller, is it only me or anyone else thinks so too?
Doing it just for the Jet-Leg benefits. The single most important benefit.
I’ve watched dozens of videos about keto. People claiming it’s the best diet the most natural diet etc etc. But in the end Jeff is always the most sane and factual one.
Wrong: about keto, you can build muscle on a low carb diet because protein burns like sugar in the body (50% of it will turn into sugar for the 20% of the cells in your body that cannot use ketones (what is produced from fat) for energy )
And humans only recently are eating carbohydrates including fruit, out ancestors ate fat and meat not carbs, it’s true that carbs are anabolic but they come at a heavy price because they trigger too much insulin, which creates immflamation and can damage arteries.
Right: keto is not the only way, correct.BUT it is the easiest and healthiest way, those carbohydrates have antinutrients like lectins, gluten, oxalates, and so on and so forth which also haven’t been studied extensively likeyou say about keto studies. If you look at the major food alergens list, many of them are vegetables.
Personally what I agree with: paleo keto is the best way, where the only vegetables in your diet are things like coconut oil. This will help you have strong muscles, lots of energy.
Also one last thing: Water is stored in your body in excess when eating carbohydrates, think of all the good it will do to your body and kidneys by lifting a heavy burnden.
Elimination diets are the best way to go for people that have health problems and many people do.We will have more type 2 diabetics soon per amount of population, than we ever had before (i am talking about ratio here and it doesn’t matter if world population has gone up).
The only reason WHY YOU don’t have diabetes 2 yet, is because you burn all the sugar in your muscles, but eat sugar and skip a week of workout and you will start getting insulin resistant and get non alcoholic fatty liver, which you won’t be able to solve after a certain age unless you go low carb.
In human evolution people were hunters not carb farmers!
Have a look at this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m3g0JBdtgE, bigger size than you and eats keto.
has a negative impact on me as I cant really focus on finding a job in my domain and cant be on top of my game at school because I think too much of the gym how and when im gonna go train and my eating habits
I did Whole 30 “wheat belly” which is a form of Keto. I felt left bloated, more full but I felt my training suffered. I’m doing your 8 week hardcore training now and I am following your nutrition plan as close as possible.
4:42 “The goal with the bear mode approach is not to look as aesthetic as possible, but to be as big and strong as you possibly can be.”
Does not compute

Hey Kris do you have by any chance an example ketogenic meal plan that you follow?
I used steroids for a whole year and I had no significant Gaines what do you think happened?
it’s ok to use one or two times stop talking shit։
But u need to go to doctor, he must control it.
My biggest concern regarding bodybuilding is that it actually makes my life worse. Apparently, I look healthy, quite muscular for a 16 y.o. who has been lifting for aproximately 1 year. However, I am not so sure that this is the case. I think that regardless of how I may look on the exterior, my insides will eventually suffer. All the protein I’m eating and meals I’m eating, all the intesity during the workouts are inevitably destroying my liver, my heart, tendons and bones. Needless to say, I can’t stop working out either. It has somehow turned into an obsession: in the morning, after I go to bathroom, I’m looking at myself and feeling skinny and miserable. Similarly, after not being able to eat for more than 3 hours I feel like all the muscle mass I gained has irreversibly vanished. But I can’t stop. If I will, i won’t be able to cope with myself. I will feel weak, unable to withstand the challanges of life. It’s weird bruh.
Can anyone help? Have been keto for 2 years but stopped gaining muscle and losing weight after a mere 2 months. Did my body just get used to it?
Remember the rules for staying healthy… No Pain = No gain. Right?
I was starting to get miserable with “bodybuilding”. It was eating the required amount of meals when I wasn’t even hungry and eating all the time that really started pissing me off haha. My hormones also got out of whack and I felt like shit. I was up to 220 with good muscle gains but I was not enjoying anything haha. So I stopped all supplements, started eating more vegetable protein, smaller amounts of meat, and now Im pretty happy with everything. I may not look as big as I did, but I am actually stronger in the gym now, and feel more joyful haha.
can you compensate the weight lose effect by taking more creatin(by this meaning more than 5 g a day) and drinking more than 5 Liter water per day?
I love working out. I love my body transformation. I was 90 lbs skinny and I didn’t like it. So i tried body building. couple months later, I gained 10 lbs of muscles all over my body. Finally got abs too.:)
Wow!! i believe that this is true cause i dont understand any of it(:
its all about being fat adapted
normal keto is shit
its better to intermittent fasting and therapeutic keto once for a while(like 4 days in a month)
and then come back to daily life style
that works the best for me and should work for most of people
the importance of a proper keto is that once people are fat adapted, the way they utilize carbs also becomes effecient
sticking on some random keto is not good and it causes muscle and joint pain
legend says that chuck norris fasting window is 23: 1
no wonder he is super strong
1 Peter 1: 18-19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Im looking into a Keto diet because of diabetes and cancer. My dog is diabetic

Alex is trippin. You looked better before. Bear mode looks good when you’re like me 6’2 because it’s harder to fill out a taller frame….if you do it again don’t gain that much imo. Maybe 15lbs
haha its about overall macros and energy balance not type of milk!! anything is fine!
