Thank you for the video! I am recouperating from a long illness and needed something to work my abs. As a first timer today I did some of all the different exercises. The hardest thing was to convince the dog I wasn’t playing with her! I plan on doing these for several months perhaps twice a day then moving onto something a little more challenging. I plan on incorporating a change in diet as well to lose the weight put on in the last few years. Thanks again!

When I first found this video about two months ago I wanted to make a comment expressing my relief and gratitude at finding a workout instructor who’s easy to follow, without an annoyingly chipper singsong voice. I decided to hold off until I made some progress. With basic dieting (simply watching my calorie intake, I still eat the damn cookies) and following this video I’ve lost over 20 pounds. I now have core strength, my jobs gotten easier, I feel healthier and happier. I love watching the progress of my body, not only in the mirror but also with my clothes and levels of strength. I started small, in the beginning I couldn’t even get through the first 10 minutes, I couldn’t even begin doing the more advanced parts of the workouts, but now I not only get through this full video, but also 10 minutes of her following arm workout (goodbye wings) Sometimes I can follow her doing the more advanced portion throughout the full thing. I’ve even added things between videos like squats. I can do all that now thanks to these videos, when before I couldn’t even get through the first 10 minutes, it just took my trying again and again. So thanks Amy, these videos really have helped change my life.

I started this exercise 5days ago, though my legs still hurt so much after the exercise but my tummy is now flat and my waist was 30.5 now 28.8. I can’t wait to see the result after 2weeks.

You look great post baby girl. Just starting kettle bells and I’ll definitely be utilizing your videos.
in my opinion holding the weight at arms length while twisting from side to side has very little effect if you are doing a controlled twist. It is basically adding an isometric contraction to the front deltoids more than anything else. The weight can only be very light as you would never hold the isometric contraction in the delts long enough to work the abs. and the only way it could be relevant is if you were twisting with power in which case your core would have to contract strongly to accelerate and decelerate the force which would be an extremely niche or advanced movement with quite a high risk factor. Please feel free to educate me if I am wrong. I have my opinion based on my own experience and qualifications so will eat humble pie if I am shown the error in my thoughts:)

I actually was able to somewhat complete this I just modified some of them a bit. Instead of jumping high knees I just lifted them, and I held a chair for a few for balance. I woke up with a nice burn in my abs so I know it worked, going to do it again today!

Good workout but not as intense as some of her other ab workouts. It’s fun to try some new exercises but be warned, some of them are a bit difficult to do if you’re not as flexible as a ballet dancer lol

For some reason, I never clicked on the links so never saw your main channel til just now (after doing this and the upper back workout) and…WOW. If I EVER feel unmotivated because I’m not seeing results…all I have to do is think about your journey. Once the body gets to a certain point of fitness, seeing results is far less shockingly noticeable because the sculpting stage is, in my opinion, the hardest after the initial start *that’s the hardest*. A few days ago I sat here eating ice cream at 9pm, deciding if I’m happy where I am and want to maintain…or keep climbing. After seeing the past 3 years of your physical, mental and emotional growth….no WAY am I settling here. THANK YOU, both of you. I know it’s not a solo effort.

Thankyou I have always worked out but recently at aged 62 I feel back and hip problems so this was a fantastic routine.
I like your workouts but I can’t do some of the exercises because I had acl, meniscus and ankle surgery so I can’t apply too much to my right leg because that’s the one I had all these surgeries on lol, also if you do leg workouts can you take out the lunges or something I can’t do them for shit could you do a modified leg strengthening video for people like me who are trying to regain some strength back? Since the gyms are shut down in philly I only have access to 2lb dumbbells in my house and some resistance bands

Thank you for this and many other awesome videos. This standing ab has become daily “must” now. A quick question about bent-over oblique rotation. Towards the end of this, I usually feel a slight pinch on the lower back. When I adjust the angle of my torso by lifting my body slightly, it goes away. Is the lower back pain supposed to happen, (should I keep pushing with the 45-degree angle)?

A tip.
I usually work with a 15 kg kettlebells or a weight of the stomach on my stomach. Sets it at the top of the stomach at the navel, then I push it up and down the stomach with my abs. It’s tough But good
Why do they call them tights if we have to keep adjusting them? These are some good basic builders.

For someone prone to vertigo, I prefer standing abs so I don’t have to lay flat on the ground (and risk spinning the room), and this fits the bill!!! Love it!!!
How long do I have to do this workout to see my bad shrink I will like to loose 5ins of my waist. I’m 60 and this workout seem not to much stress on the knee

Thanks for this. This is great cause I can do this 3 or more times a day @ 10 min. Question though, I don’t quite understand how the Cherry Pickers helps with abs. Can you elaborate please. I see it as just a good stretch. I also would like to see a 15 or 20 minute standing abs as well. Pleassssssssseeee

I just wanted to say I am a dancer and I have been working on getting abs ever since I could remember and NO results. I have been doing 3 of your ab work out videos 5 times a day for 3 weeks and Im FINALLY starting to see a six pack start to form!!! I’m about a month into doing this 4 times a week. I’m finding some good improvement in my ab definition, but even more improvement in my posture! That’s a really great side bonus for me.

Great workout! One tiny thing though: could you make the countdown noise a tiny bit louder? It’s difficult to look at the screen in some of these positions and I can barely hear when a set is over or begins

I have been doing the exercises for two weeks and feel a difference around my back and top half you can also see the difference in your clothes. I will keep joining in with the exercises and cant wait to see what the difference will be in a month. Coach and Claudia very nice. I like that the timer is on because you push yourself to finish each exercise.

Amy, I found your workouts recently and just love them! I especially like that you produce short videos (15-30 minutes) when I’m short on time or just need to target certain areas. When I saw you pregnant I was reminded of myself 28 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I worked out all the way to the end and was back in my pre-pregger clothes in 9 weeks. You look fabulous and please, please keep the fun workouts coming.

A great workout. I really enjoy these balley inspired exercises and I feel great afterwards.
I live the patience in the workout rather than doing everything fast, because sometimes I don’t understand the exercise and with this I get how to achieve each manoeuvre correctly.
I genuinely enjoyed this workout, I enjoy the calm music. Definitely worked up a sweat!

Hey Amy! I love your kettlebell videos I’ve been doing them for about 3 months now, and I’m feeling stronger than ever not just physically, but also mentally. I think you’re one of the best fitness gurus on Youtube, mainly because you do everything so efficiently without the useless chatter. You are also inspirational, I love your simple style! However, because of such cramped spaces at home, I have a hard time following the mat segments of your kettlebell HITT workouts, so I always end up just skipping them. If it’s not much trouble, can I suggest a standing HIIT kettlebell workout? That would be so cool!

Hard to get an abs when I cannot avoid eating rice 3 times daily.I have been doing these exercises of yours Maddy and I see results my only problem is rice is on my system already.My head hurts if I skip rice every meal.

Love this Abs workout. I end up quiting many Abs exercises because my lower back hurts too much to keep it up. But I was able to complete this work out “easily”. Haha. I wasn’t expecting too much for a 13 min workout but I felt the pain the next morning! It truly surprised and delighted me! Love all your workouts! Very happy I found this channel!

Great warm-up….I added 5lbs to the second set to get the heart rate up for some of the moves. Love the windmills to get the hamstrings warmed up.

I’m a [email protected]$$ but this is totally doable for me. Also good for me since I have rectus diastasis and can’t do traditional ab workout. I’m far from a six pack, but I am more stable in my core after about 6 weeks of doing this workout nearly daily.

I’m going to ad this to my daily walks I’m going to see a nutritionist I’m walking so long that myfitnesspal says I need more calories. I have difficulties with that a nutritionist that knows all my needs will help me make a plan this is my year. And I liked that it worked my arms too. bad shoulder joints just got a little sore.

+BodyFit By Amy I’m not new to kettlebell but I’m new to doing it for more than 5 minutes at a time. I got zero weight loss results from running plus my muscles never felt sore (the good kind of sore). They do with kettlebell so I think I will be getting results. I’m starting now doing your 15, 20, 25, etc kettlebell videos. But I need some sort of reassurance that it will actually work? I’ve had a lot of hard times losing weight because my body only wants about 1200/day to lose and about 1400/day to maintain. I have about 20lbs to lose and I’m apparently 35% body fat right now. I need to focus on exercise as I’m already eating clean. Will kettlebell (20+ minutes a day) actually work?? It’s too good to be true.

Late to the party, just found this and am able to get it in at work! Im a beginner at this long over due fitness and weight loss need, plus im 56 so this works, my goal is to be able to maintain my balance and get my knees higher and have fluid movement.
And to do it as many days as possible. As i am teaching myself discipline. It ain’t easy

Highly do not recommend this workout if you have any back problems. Thought this was going to be low impact but ended up throwing back out. Now have a sharp pain♀️

I’ve been struggling with ab workouts since coming down with ulcers (but doing alot lately to get rid of them on my own; drinking aloe, kombucha, fermented foods etc). Most ab workouts make it feel like they’re gonna bust open! These feel very effective but gentle. Thank you so much!
