Sean
Its very difficult to keep two legs straight while the head and hands are to send down. What are the suggestions for the beginners?
Son posturas muy difíciles para alguien que es principiante como yo, no pude hacer casi ninguna, tienes algun video para principiantes? gracias, abrazo desde Colombia
lol beginners…first excercise is not for beginners you have to be very flexible already.
Yo, my partner said I need to work on my shaky legs.
I’m 6’2, 195lbs of sexiness.
This was challenging for the first week and was fun to try something different. I usually only do upper body workouts at home, never the legs.
After doing it daily, I was able to move onto the beginners and then the advanced.
I have been doing this for two months now and have made a lot of progress and the woman is happy with my ever increasing leg strength and flexibility.
Cheers Sean!
Your yoga video made it fun and as though I was just doing a stretch routine before a workout.
Now, it’s a daily staple to my routine.
🙂
Hi, can you describe the features of a good yoga mat? I’m using a cheap 0.6mm foam thing but it’s so soft I sink into it and it’s breaking apart. What are the features I should look for? Cheers
very good looking background where did you take this video?:)
This is my very first time doing yoga and It´s been amazing. I never tought that I coud sweat so much. It´s been hard but I´ve enjoyed it so much. Thank You.
I think you overestimate what some beginners are capable of. Doing most of this is something I might aspire to, but to find it called easy and for beginners is dispiriting. It’s not even just the flexibility required that I lack, but the muscle strength and fitness to get into and hold the positions five minutes of failing at this was exhausting and left my whole body shaking.
I’m running 4 times a week for an hour how often should I do this yoga routine? And will it help tone up my stomach?:-)
Damn. I pracrice bodyweight excercises, and run every day but I think a piece of me died this time.
great stretches, exactly what I needed. Thanks for giving the whole routine for free.
I definitely needed to watch and go over the exercises here; I thank YouTube for seeing it appear on my search. One of my relatives had sent me an infographic listing the benefits of yoga. I had once taken a class but have been away from it for awhile. This was great; I’m feeling amazing! I enjoyed the interspersing of humor too ha ha. Thanks for your content; we guys need to stay healthy, especially now more than ever.
Started this week with calisthenics and yoga was recommended to me for the days between gym workouts. Thank you for an awesome first ever yoga session!
Hi sean i started having vold showers about 2 months ago after reading about the benefits and about a month ago i started your yoga sessions. So now my routine is yoga, then meditate for around 15 mins and then a child shower. I’ve read u shouldn’t shower for atleast 2 hours after doing yoga. With my work and family life i don’t have time to wait 2 hours so I’m wondering if it’s ok with what I’m doing at the moment? Do you know if it’s ok to do this?
Having ads hit me in the middle of learning doesnt help at all
This is great because it increases flexibility in the whole body, thank you for this video easy to follow and makes workouts more comfortable
I have been working out for years and this small beginner workout was really quite difficult. I can’t explain why but I feel better instantly. Will make this an every morning thing for sure
dude i love this stretch routine! thanks so much! funny because i did it with my girlfriend and she said it doesn’t stretch her out at all! Young women who are decently flexible don’t get much out of it apparently but I sure do! Keep it up
Love ur vids a lot but the fucking ads make me wanna commit arson
Every time I come these damn McDonald’s ads come during the middle of a lunge
Thanks for the heads up on the socks you know how Youtube can be they will point everything out if that snowflake is out of place over there
I keep coming back to this one. I’ve done dozens but this simple, basic one, is the compass from which to go in other directions.
i get very tight hamstrings and these help a lot, thank you:)
57 years old and trying yoga for the first time. I’ve been only doing the first class for two weeks and it’s amazing. I actually did some of the stretches prior to playing a baseball game and I felt great after playing (which hasn’t happened in 15 years of playing adult baseball). Thank you.
First time trying yoga in my life, this was very difficult for someone as inflexible as me had to give up at around 12 minutes. I’ll try it again in a few days and hopefully can last a little longer
Your furry friend scared tf out of me. Great vid though, thanks
This is great. Finally stretches that aren’t yoga poses such a relief. Thank you Tom!
Omgosh I thought I could do yoga on my own. Slowly I went downhill to barely doing yoga at all. And I was doing so good following you.
But with your positive attitude I am back. Almost like starting over. Thank you Coach V.
Yoga is good for the soul.
Never seen in your video wearing fitshorts…..maybe looks better
LOVE IT… IF YOU CAN, PLEASE ENJOY OUR YOGA PLAYLIST. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Coming back after a long hiatus, this was awesome, part two would be great. You are an awesome guide Sean! Thank you
Today I started my day with both of you, BREATH AND FLOW, slow breathing exercise. Followed by episode 1 twist with FLOW. Thank you to both of you, you are helping many of us find our center especially during this difficult time.
Day 1: woke up and did this first thing, just followed along and didn’t expect much, just learning the form, feel great!❤️
Not going to lie, your dog roaring like a lion scared the shit out of me!
Great video!
I am a total beginner to this and this was really great to see and follow along. Thank you for these videos
movie is couples retreat, im trying too ease pain and learn yoga for this and am a bit large is this good for that
Thanks, Flo! This was great but a real challenge for me (in a good way!). I started with The Embark series and came straight to this. The fact that the title included the word “male” interested me. I think I need to go back to Embark for a bit and then maybe Ignite before I’m ready to tackle this one. Anyhow, thanks for your guidance and encouragement. Yoga has brought to a lot of positivity to me during these crazy times.
I found your sense of humor to be amazing, hopefully doing this daily I’ll get a little more flexible because I’m not meant to bend like that but I’ll keep at it and get better so I can move up, but I do feel refreshed and nicely stretched and it’s not the same old thing, I can’t wait to move up and watch the intermediate and expert levels and I can only hope they are as funny as this one was
This is a great beginners video. My friend who lives bed abroad is currently doing your 30 day challenge. Thank you posting these videos. Looking forward to gradually doing them.
Oooo. Sean, WI careful “we all live on Avery Rd”. Nice little warm up.
Fifteen minutes and I feel fantastic! Thanks Sean. I’ll make sure to come back for more.
Going through this for a second time during lockdown and I’ve improved so much. Cheers
Beginner here from Trinidad and Tobago . I’ve been using your videos for the last two months and my flexibility has improved SO much! Thank you!
Thank you for the video. It helped me relax and release stress. I will do this everyday.
Seems a bit much for beginners, those stretches look painful, its ok if your fit like all coaches but not if you are overweight ect maybe do a beginners basic day 1 type
This is from 5 years ago, but I just did it 5 min ago and it felt really good. Definitely making this routine as I try to build myself back up.
Hello, I need some advice, I started yoga 1 year ago but I still do not know how to organize my practice, because I want to work the backstrech and hanumasana (I did the 180º) and at the same time I want the opening of the pelvis and the postures of the inversion.. what do you recommend? what to do.. How to organize myself to achieve my goals? When you started yoga, what did you focus on? Me at previous month I worked only the hanumasana and uttasana and a little the back.. But no pelvis not the inversion:( because it is too much.
Finally you are doing a great service to the manosphere. It’s been so frustrating searching for yoga videos only to find women dressed in the night sexy outfits saying men can do yoga too.
First time trying this today oh my goodness I’m not very flexible at all! I need to get better and because I have back pain I struggle with this at the begininng it feels good though this was quite tough for me! Very clear tutorial! Thanks for sharing with us!
First time in my life trying yoga, this was awesome…
Thanks so much for this video. I have been doing it every morning for a couple of months and have already noticed increased flexibility and toning. I actually look thinner.
Thank you… I was going to the gym, felt lazy, stayed home, watched this video… Thanks God I stayed!!!
Oh nice i believe it now it is realy good please be continue
Stayed and relaxed on the last pose and woke up 45 days later
You go way too fast for this to be of any practical use to anyone
As a beginner, this was the perfect balance of challenging and doable. Thanks!
Thank you for the class. I felt really good. This is the right tempo for me, I feel I have time to get into the pose. Some of the poses are very challenging to me I’m not very flexible but I’m going to work on them.
Dude I was looking for a beginner guide not a professional one almost got hospitalized on 13 minutes…
Hi just a few comments
Towards the last of the standing poses I started to feel a little pain on my feet (lower area) is this normal??
This is my first ever yoga lesson
i’m super fat. I’ve been losing weight since becoming a vegan but it’s time for me to pick a routine. this looks like a good low impact but challenging routine I can attempt and best of all, no equipment needed (i’m also poor)
This looks a bit too fast moving for me but I love that he’s not chattering beyond instruction on what to do.
started this today.. Feel amazing already. Just the right yoga routine I needed!!
I always hear beginner yoghurt when Sean says beginner yoga haha
Nice and gentle. Feel a nice burn. Will
Continue this routine. Thanks!
Found your videos a couple of months ago and have shared them with a few of my other active mates. Feels great, thanks Sean!
This is great thank you, I’m trying to loose weight (I’m 18st 3lbs (255lbs) and 6ft 2) and increase my flexibility so I’ve been trying to incorporate this into my routine before my daily bike ride and body weight exercises, I’ve only done it a few times so far buts really helped
Been doing quite a few of your classes just before bed. the perfect gift for a 60 year old man!! MUCH thanks for making it available, & for undertaking the classes in such a smooth flow, very helpful as i work on my flexibility & form. Your voice becomes a meditation. Thanks Again, Namaste.
I’ve tried a lot of things to overcome the really bad hip pain my condition leaves me with, and this is the first time after completing something I’ve actually felt like crying with relief at how much better it feels.
Started doing this every morning after I wake up, pretty nice
1. I would like you to focus more on talking about the meaning of the pose, in terms of energy, and the links with Buddhism/Hinduism, as that’s where yoga comes from. How can this clear the mind?
2. Background music to soothe the soul.
3. Shave that underarm forest, I believe most gays do this (I am gay too).
Thanks!! I just got in to YOGA today! You’re the second video I’ve done and the cobra cracked so many bones in the upper back. Felt great!! I’ll be coming here until I’m ready for the next level. You rock!
Hi from the UK! Thank you for sharing this video it has helped me so much with pain in my back area due to a car accident, yoga has changed my life thank you!
4:04 My sweet boyfriend goes in that postion when he really wants to make me happy. Then, he want us to go for shopping:)
Quarantine is much more doable with Hasfit and Sean Vigue. ❤Thank you so much
It’s my 38th birthday and I just did my first stretch with you Sean. I’m sweating like a pig! but feeling good. You changed my wife’s life and she got another friend onto your workouts. I’m late to the party but enjoyed day 1. I want to see how your stretching improves my fitness and golf game.
Thanks. Big G!
Your guidance, enthusiasm, encouragement, and funny commentary make this an enjoyable experience. I look forward to incorporating more this in my week!
I have tested out quite a few weight-loss programs already but none of them offered me the outcomes just like I got using this “Yamzoko Weebly” (Google it) plan. Even I am not feeding on much as I was in the past, I still don’t truly feel jittery or perhaps sense a crash I have shed around 15 lbs since applying this product..
I’ve been doing this each morning with my autistic son as a way of starting his day on a big positive.
First time trying yoga. It’s easy at first but it gets surprisingly tough. Stick it out until the end.
I turned 60 this year and I’m still doing pretty good actually fighting my age all the way. This video has become a staple after my biking or running or anytime I’m feeling stiff. I hobble in the door and can barely take off my socks and head straight for this video. Thanks for making it real and practical. BTW, the way you said, “encouragement my friend” sounded like something from Princess Bride but I see it’s from Couples Retreat should have know it was from a Yogi (is that what they call you instructors?) in a movie, ha ha.
This feels good after weeks of hitting the weights, thank you.
That felt great. Ill do this more often for sure, thanks for the video!
Thank you so much. Your videos are really helpful. May God bless you
I’ve tried yoga several times with different videos, but none of them did it for me. This was challenging for me as a beginner, but the setting and Sean’s pleasant manner really put me at ease. This is one video I’ll be coming back to—and who knows, maybe some time in the future I’ll be able to touch the floor without bending my knees!
I am new to yoga and have done yoga every day for the past 90 days. I thought it was time to progress to something a little more challenging. This was super fun and super difficult at the same time. I am going to repeat this video until I nail it 100%
Greetings from the UK.
Thanks for a the great video. I’d been looking to get back into yoga after practicing preciously to get over football (soccer to you, I guess) injuries around 8-10 years ago.
Workout had just the right ammount of impact I was looking for to dip my toe back into Yoga. Will practice daily to your videos for the rest of this week for sure. Namaste.
I’ve lost over 120 lbs in the past year. I run 3 miles almost daily, gym, bicycling etc. My son keeps telling me to stretch. This 15 minutes just killed me… ♂️.
Is it normal to feel pressure in your head when you never done a downward dog before?
I have never attempted yoga before. This video was a fantastic introduction!
Hi there! I love your yoga style. Can you also make a well described yoga for blind people? Thank you so much!
OMG, I’m a little over weight and this took alot out of me. 1st time doing this and I really love it….Thanks a lot I’ll keep on doing it everyday. It’s my new years resolution going into 2020 ^_^
Thank you for this video! I can see a difference after doing this for the first time. I can see however I have a long road ahead of me to restore my body! I will keep doing this and explore your other videos for hopefully complete control of my aging body!
Thank you once again
Thanks for the great video. Just realized how out of shape I am after trying this.
Great stretches. Thank you. Hip injury. Torn ACL (who knows when those surgeries will resume). Very helpful.
Great video. My first introduction to yoga, I’ll let you know how it goes. I hope to be able to walk on water soon.
It’s hard.
But I like it.
This is my second go at it and I feel great, I feel like once I get into it and add it to my hasfit routine, it’ll make a huge difference.
Thank you for the video, great creative content as usual. A million thumbs up!
I’ve been suffering with chronic pancreatitis. I used to work out and be so fit. Made it through 10 min, bug nausea and dizziness kicked in. Going to take baby steps. Thank you for this amazing routine. ♥️
before to start I need a suggestion would be better to practice yoga in the morning or after work if I fallow total yoga body workout?
Wow first time doing Yoga and I gotta say little bit tougher than I had imagined. Been doing it for about one week now and I can fill some benefits already thanks for the videos I live in a town and work hours were going somewhere isn’t an option
Good to see you here. I was looking for beginner for my clients I will share this one thank you Sean.
Amazing session, mobility, strenght, balance and much more, but I think it may be labeled as intermidiate program, cause it’s challenging for beginners in my opinion.
But thank you so much, AWESOME VIDEO!
New yoga teacher here, getting ready to teach my first beginner men’s yoga class. This was super helpful. Loved your cues.
You should join Spotify and make these available to listen through them.
37 year old 150Ibs 6′ beginner man here trying to stretch and learn a little yoga for the first time. I love your other video in the snow to with your Golden Retriever in the backround. Great vids man, thank you!

Hi there,
Would you please share something for beginner like me n I am obese so I cant move like that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks love from India.
I am starting now.. but it was Brilliant to know our body…..!! THANKS A LOT…
Do I spot a german accent there?
Wenn ja nices Video Bro. Will meine Mobilität trainieren und bin so auf euch gestoßen.
Does this help me to maintain a healthy and lean physique? I wanna lose some fat.
I love this routine! My posture is improving, I’m experiencing less body pains, and I’ve noticed that I can do more complex stretches before doing cardio easily. Thank you for making this:-)
Thank you for a great class. Getting back on the mat! Namaste
Thank you,
Really great first video!
Looking forward to day 2.
This felt so good, thank you for the video! I do have a question tho: Half way up and forward bend are the same for me because I am not flexible right now. Should I bend my knees to bend down lower or just stay were I am at?:)
This is the first Yoga body workout I actually liked, thank you!
Hey Sean. Really like your workouts. We are both relatively new to Yoga but wouldn’t class ourselves as beginners as been doing it for about 2 months. More intermediate I think. Our problem is we don’t have a lot of spare time to do long yoga sessions each day as we both work full time. We prefer 10 to 15 minute ones that we can easily do each day. Is there anything you have like that that you’d recommend? Many thanks.
I’m just getting back into my fitness routine. I went from an endurance athlete to inactive for almost 12 months due to medical situations. I’m excited that I’ve started back but I’ve noticed I’m not the man I was.
Yoga and a focus on flexibility has been weighing on my mind.
This video has filled the short term gap and I start to build a flexibility routine. Thank you for sharing your content.
I cannot understate the change having a “routine” has had on my mornings. It’s 7:15, just finished this video with my cup of coffee. I started watching this video 3-4 times/week about 2 months ago, and only recently made the switch from rolling out of bed in a rush around 8:30…. to an alarm at 6:30, and moving precisely through my morning routine. I’ve been LESS tired and MORE productive, like lightyears more productive. My attitude and mood are greatly improved and I owe a lot of the credit for change in the simplicity of this video. This is a rant but I figure if you’re still reading you care enough to start changing.
Do this video every morning and your body will thank you. Listen to Sean’s cues, and over time you will hone in more and more. Stay focused
So I decided to give this a try. About 3/4 the way through. I had a rush of emotion and I dropped to the ground and cried. I had never felt anything like that before. It was beyond beautiful. Thank you two for sharing your passion and skills with us.!!
Beginners? This was WAY beyond my skill level because, well, I’m a beginner. Thanks, but defeat wasn’t how I planned to start. I’ll move along in hopes of finding a more positive experience.

This is changing my entire outlook on fitness. Thanks for the great videos! I’m 37, and never have bothered with yoga until now.
Well as a 240lbs lifter this just showed me how inflexible I am. very good video easy to follow, looking forward to your beginner series
Great intro to Yoga. Much grateful its, for me anyway, very Male friendly!!
18:17 to 18:23 you can hear someone muffled saying ‘Turn around, turn around’.
Hi. Thanks for this video. Question: You have a decent amount of muscle mass. Is yoga the only form of resistance training you do?
The greatest and coolest Teacher ever! Not to mention how inspiring it is looking at him.
that was hard but after of 3 days, finally I can do it, thnk u so much
As a (relatively) fit 67 year old, I thought this would be simple. How wrong I was. The “ten minute” work-out takes me at least 30 mins, and I can feel every muscle complaining. However, I’ve just done my third session, so I guess I’m becoming addicted. Thanks, Sean.
all video is good keep seance of dress feedback no complaint
Hi hello. Can you create a playlist, for “all” the beginner video’s, you have created? Perhaps a mans list…I respond better with the bearded person leading. Cheers
Your videos got me into doing yoga daily. It’s only been about 4 weeks but I feel worlds better already Much love, Sean!
Couples retreat the movie question? Idk im guessing. Hilarious
Hey today I could finish ur video to the end. I was a gym fan. But because of work and busy life left gym. And now corona crises. But any how after gaining 12 kg, and a lot of pain on my back and neck and calves decided to pick yoga at home. It’s really nice. Thank you. Very nice
Hello, your videos is very interesting. I am freelancer on Fiverr. If you need amazing video editing for your YouTube channel you can contact me. On my channel you can find link to my Fiverr. Have a great day.
Finally made it through to the end, after interruptions from a (healing) back injury, and my last phone’s battery dying on me. #Persistence
Hiya
This is my 2nd 10min Yoga for beginners, and I’ve gotta say, it hurts. But it’s good hurt. Thankyou.
Peace and Happiness to you and yours.
At first it was painful but further in it was relaxing. Keep up the good work my friend!
My first ever time doing yoga… those 20 min flew by, and even though i was shaking at some points, it felt amazing! Will definitely check out your embark series, danke
This is how i start my day, every day, I’m 55 and took up yoga just over a year ago. With all the gyms and classes closed your videos have been my life savers for my body and mental well-being.
Enjoyed this very much. I’m at the beginning of my fitness journey but I felt encouraged throughout the whole video. Will definitely be adding Sean Vigue to my Rolodex.
Hi Sean. I’m 46 and have been doing most of my workouts in a gym with weights and machines. However, I recently had a mild heart attack! Recovery is going well but I can’t do any heavy weight training for awhile. My doctor recommended yoga. Glad I found your channel. Looking forward to building my strength back with your guidance.
Thank you, this was really helpful, and it’s a perfect way to be active on my regular workout days off, very relaxing, not extremely hard!!!! 100% recommended/m/
Trying to better myself as a person physically and mentally, thanks for the video
Could only do around 13min, but hope I’ll keep getting better and better. Thanks
I have never done yoga before and tried this for the 1st time and really enjoyed it. I will be checking out more of your videos. I need to improve my flexibility, any advise or video you would recommend I try next?
I have been doing this routine for a week or so now. But I am overweight and can’t seem to squat without my heels coming off the ground or my feet turning outward.
Oooh too hard for me just yet. Drat!
I’ll have to go over to your beginner program for a bit I think
so I’m feeling stressed, I think to myself: a bit of yoga might help.
and this dude out here putting growling noises on the Fing video!
I just found your video and will do tomorrow morning.Good to do in the morning before start working.Love your trousers, which brand are they?
Hi Flow! I am here after unbreak and ignite programs… Waw this session was intense… I couldn’t hold all the positions, however, I wasn’t bad…See you in the next session.
Hi I have just tried this for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Is it a daily
Practice or how many times a week should you do this?
Oh my god, this is a LOT harder than I ever imagined! Great video
This was my first time actually doing a follow along yoga video, because I’m mainly browsing instagram. Thank you for this video. It helped me get over my anxiety of actually starting, I’m looking at your 7 Day Beginner program. I’m so excited!! I’m looking forward to starting my days with yoga.
hi, i really want to dedicate myself in this, but i cant even put both my heels flat on the ground nor can i reach my arms on the ground.:(
Love it! Not a man but it was a great set of stretches. Thanks
Short but packs a punch. Very precise and detailed. Thank you so much!
I can’t sit on my feet, it stops at certain point and my knees hurt, any tips on how to correct this?
Perfect for an absolute beginner just gave this a go for my first ever Yoga class Will be doing more! Cheers
Thank you for this basic, achievable flow. I especially appreciate your comments at the end that seemed to read my mind “this pose (laying flat) is just as important as the other poses. Give yourself permission to stay here (in this pose).”
Is there a pose or poses which would ease twinges in the shoulders and neck? I am a former soldier and athlete.
Love all your practices thank you and also appreciate the different sequences, poses, backgrounds, even talking points (“good morning hamstrings!”) which help me figure out if I’ve seen this video before or not. That way I can make sure to try all your classes. Danke schon!
I love this practice and do it almost every morning to help ease my back pain. Can you please create another 20 min yoga video similar to this?
Thanks so much for this video, it’s up at my level and still a bit of challenge. It’s great now I’m mostly at home all day behind the computer, I feel like I’ve had a workout but relaxed me at the same time. Love the sound of your voice, it’s so calming!
What level is this for such as beginners, advanced intermediate? I am curious
I’ve been coming back to this video nearly daily the past two weeks as I’m deciding to incorporate yoga into my practice. I try a variety of vids and styles and keep coming back. I certainly am beginning to feel stronger! . Thank you!
First ever attempt at any type of yoga…… I’m as pliable as a brick, lots of work to do, but I did enjoy the challenge of it, I will work it into my routine
Just finished 2nd session today, I’m I feel so good and grateful I found this video! Thank You!:D
Exotic locations. Beautiful rooms and….. well,
TOO privileged for me and my practice.
Wonderfully made video. It was my first time today, and this video helped me a lot. The pace is nice and easy to follow and you explain well. Found it a little difficult as it was my first time, but hoping to learn with time. Cheers

Loved this routine, by the end of it I was sweating a lot. I think this yoga is very good for burning fat also not only body flexibility
Namaste! Thank you very much for your teaching! God bless you.
there is yoga for women and yoga for men? What is the difference?
I felt good after doing this Yoga getting relaxation to body
“Feels good, doesn’t it?”
My inflexible ass:
grunting Oh yah! It’s… It’s great!… Never felt better!”
This stretch workout really feels so great after vigorously working because it is intense enough to highlight other focal points not reached prior. I am so grateful for this workout routi e.
1. Noone f.. cares you are in Bali.
2. Do NOT drink coffee in a yoga video, not appropriate.
I never thought yoga was for me. I was always into gym workouts and weights. With Covid-19 and all gyms shutdown in the U.S., I found “Yoga for Men” to be a great workout at home. At age 60 and an avid golfer, the stretching, strengthening, breathing and balancing through yoga keeps me physically fit for the game. Thank you Flo!
Sean, great video. Can you post one for yoga after a gym workout?
I am becoming more aware of the point being to calm my mind. I am enjoying the peace more and more. Am more aware of how, naive the question of, “is yoga good for building muscle?” really was. lol. Am thankful for you guys and your practice, your choice to share. Thank you
Okey i was about to do this tomorrow, but I’m done with the procrastinating. Let me get my sweatpants! Never done yoga EVER though
Yogi PewDiePie! Just found this channel after trying a few other YouTubers. Looking forward to going through this series. Focusing on the wrist is something I’ve never had an instructor do in my limited yoga expierence. Was almost a necessity for me.
The side to side boat thing…. … thank you for the practice
I’ve been doing yoga on and off for 3 years now, but I started again 3 months ago nearly on daily basis. I’ve been using DownDog, but I wanted to mix it up a bit, so I went to YouTube and found this channel. I thought I’m quite strong (DownDog practices go pretty smooth), but your practice showed me that there’s much space for improvement. Thank you.
BTW, if I felt out from some of the poses, should I continue to day 2 (episode 2) or should I keep doing this practice over and over till I perfect it?
Flo, I’m new to this channel, and I was mesmerized by your tattoos, I don’t have tattoo but thinking about getting one as a gift for myself when I reached the age of 25.
I’m thinking about a semicolon or a phoenix tattoo as its symbolism is precious to me.
I just got a question doing the plank stretch I have difficulty bringing my left arm down to the ground same side to the right for the stretch for the plank I cannot bring both of my eyes done the way we do the plank for the stretch. I need help with that.
My arms hurt and my hamstring ad well..but I try to repeat this episode to become not feel hurt anymore..thanks
Thank for a really good yoga video! Very challenging, in a good way:)
But seriously, where’s the beginners’ video? I can reach about 3 inches past my knees on the first exercise.
my legs are not as straight as you have….what should i do regarding that
Please can you tell us when are we supposed to stop and take a break…as it is not possible to continuously do it the way you are doing…its like a song has started and it will end when it is supposed to and we have to sing it in the same flow…which is not possible…please help
This was my first time doing yoga, I recently lost 14 pounds and am one month clean of drugs and alcohol. This was great for me very clear and relaxing, though very difficult for me I fell a few times and couldn’t quite make the poses, I will try again tomorrow morning though. Thank you again!
That was intense! I’m guessing this isn’t a ‘start here’ video. He’s casually talking through a plank and I’m shaking like a sewing machine! Glad I got through it through (despite needing blocks, losing my balance and collapsing during the last plank…)
First time watching a yoga video as my physio said it would be good for my back. Love the way you explain everything nice and easy, unfortunately I cannot manage some exercises as the flexibility in my back doesn’t allow for any folding. Legs stretched, a 90 degree angle is all my lower back allows. Thanks for the great video though!
Help I made a fart, and it stink. The smell won’t disappear. What do I do?
After an afternoon of yard work this was just what the DR ordered to loosen up, thanks Sean.
Man: Yo I was watching you last night, and you are so G.A.Y.
Man 2: Hahah, thanks man. If you come over one day I’ll show you how easy it is to be G.A.Y.
Edit: G.A.Y Means Good At Yoga.
This is a really great routine for a beginner, done it a few times now and my back feels better than ever. Love the channel & look forward to trying out more of your routines.
This is episode 1??!?? 6 minutes in and I’m out of breath, I’ve pulled muscles I didn’t didn’t even know I had, and I’m pretty sure I’ve lost my sense of smell. I think I’ll just take a nap instead
It is a good workout, I think an intermediate yoga practicer can do it regardless of the gender. This no different than what I do during my yoga practices. I am a woman. I think the title is for biased men who think yoga is for women.
Two things: This should be labeled ADVANCED, as these moves are largely impossible unless you’re a seasoned yogi. And two, I’m twenty-two minutes in, and there hasn’t been so much as a breather in between these body-bending moves. It’s great for advanced people, not the rest of us mere mortals.
I can only do it for 15mi how to improve it? It’s been 4 days so far.. I feel amazing even in 15mi..
Thanks for a great video! Tried it 2 months ago and totally failed. Been working through your Ignite videos since then and now I can vaguely follow this one! Any chance you could make the Yoga for Men series into a Playlist? Just so they’re easier to find. Thanks!
Started doing this 2 weeks ago and could only do about 15-20% of it. I just finished my first session of not falling or having to stop and rest! I’m going to start your beginner’s course/playlist now that I’ve got this one down. Thank you, dude.
thank you so much for this video, I use it alot and has helped me immensely
First time trying yoga.
Been working construction all my life and I have some skeletal issues. Damn near killed me but helpful and well-instructed without any douchebaggerie. Thanks!
just starting yoga today, can’t wait to see how far i go: excited for the future but still living in the present:)
Done with my first ever yoga, this was really eye opening. Haven’t given my flexibility any attention ever. Good video & thanks for the introduction will watch more of your vids and join the exercise! ❤️
My legs feel like death I have a new goal in life. Get through this video without stopping or taking a break lol
I really like your videos. This is my favourite because Is 22 min. And I really enjoy do yoga after my workouts. Is any other videos what you suggest after workouts. Thank you
First dedicated stretch session. Easy to follow, thanks. I’ve subscribed to do more.
Am here after reading “can’t hurt me” by david goggins and importance of stretching
great yoga class to today was mine six day im feeling strong and so relaxing
I felt a bit if a burn in my knees in the frozen squat (bahahaha) but that felt great. Thank you:)
Great video even if it’s for men I will do it I’m advance in many Yoga poses
Will this help with weight loss im on a daily workout in the evening can I do this in the mornings?
Thank you for this first lesson, never done yoga in my life. I really enjoyed this easy warm ups
I started yoga 9 years ago to improve my balance and flexibility. This was very basic, but I did enjoy your teaching style.
Video description yoga for beginners ‘THIS IS A BIG ASS YOGA POSE’
I love this beginner flexibility routine for my students. It is hard to find one appropriate and easy for my middle school students. Thanks
Hey, just a personal question if you don’t mind:
Did you achieve your body through yoga alone, or does that need a conventional workout routine and gym equipment?
I was wondering if yoga alone can be used to develop strength and good muscles.
You’re lovely, the class was lovely…it’s not for beginners.:-) I’m going to try “Yoga For Complete Beginners | 22 Minute Home Yoga Flow” tomorrow. Maybe a difficulty rating system in the description. 😉
This is a great program for my running during this Stay at Home era, Day 1 was great, easy to follow, you are calming and not too fast for me and enjoy having a man lead us. I will check out Day 2 tomorrow, thanks Tim.
First, love your vids long time subscriber here!
Just wanted to throw an offer your way:
So I create spiritual/meditation music (chanting, nature sounds…etc) that sort of thing I’m trying to get my music noticed and it’s the kind of music that I think people who watch your videos may really like?!
So, if you wanted to use any of my music as a background in any of your videos (or in any other creative way)
I’d like to extend an offer
I would give you permission to use my music as suits your needs, and I’d just ask for a link back to my music channel in your video description somewhere
Note: I can also send you a signed document that grants you use of my music in-case Youtube ever hassles you (not that it ever should, since I don’t monetize any of my music) but just so that you can be protected!
I just love creating music and I have other businesses that I do for money, music is sort of my pure-passion-project.:)
Anyway!
My channel is here:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7n6OQ5d8dXA7SebwTKqmKg
youtube.com/c/AJDare
The playlists you might like are “Spirit Soundsz” and “Mystic Vibrationz”
If you like any of them, you can download the Mp3 at: https://soundcloud.com/ajdare
I’m AJ Dare, hope to hear from you!
So, feel free to use any music that you like from my Soundcloud, and if you can just add a line such as this in the description of any video that uses my music:
“Music by http://www.AJdareMusic.com”
(this links to my Youtube channel)
that’d be great!
hey if you see this is it good to do it once a week when your not working out if you work out 5 days a week?as im planning to incorporate this into my routineee thank you

Just had an amazing hamstring tightness releases man. Thanks for this video man!!
I think I need some alternates for all the Child Pose stretches ( 2:50 thru 4:45) and all the stretches from the Low Lunge to the end. Anyone know any?
Stumbled across this awesome yoga series! Many thanks for making this available. Absolutely great.
Hi Tom i sure enjoy your class.i have been doing this routine for a week now and mt body is feeling sooo much better. What would you think should do to move from this class.i do love the way you explain each exercise.
Ahh i over stretched my lower back doing the flat on back legs together and knees hitting ng ground on left and right. Fffuuddggee!!!!

Will now be my after run routine and will definitely be using when I coach youth sports again!
Just want to tell my FBI agent that saw this in my history I’m not gay
He murdered my back and and hamstrings so I dropped a like lol
This video is great. I’ve been doing this for several weeks now. Really clears my head before a long day of toddlers and preschoolers in lockdown. There are other beginner classes on this channel and they are also very informative and easy to follow.
Thank you.
Fourth day in a row! This is the perfect length for me at the moment. Thanks Sean!
Thanks my friend destroyed a lovely pair of jeans because of this routine.
Now THIS is a beginners flexibility routine! Brilliant, it’s what I’ve been looking for and looks like it will still be a challenge as I get better. Thanks, Tom!
LOL, first move… I’m out. I am 51 years old and have NEVER been able to bend/stretch forward that far. Even with my legs spread a bit I cannot touch the ground and I am a runner!
Many thanks for this. I just tried and finished this. Feel better. First time I ever tried yoga in my life and will continue with your videos. Thank you
Hey Sean, got 2 yoga noob questions for you!
Fist, how often should I follow this routine Daily? twice per day?
Second, and noobiest of all: When you say to “Relax the shoulders” all the while stretching the arms… I am not sure about how that is supposed to work:p any tips are appreciated.
That aside, thank you! It’s refreshing to find a yoga tutorial that is teaching the fundamentals without trying to sell me the spirituality/religion that is often associated with it.
Thank you so much you helped me a lot with the beginning of my yoga journey + didnt rly realise how 22 mins passed
I have been doing this routine for almost a month now! I love it! Gets my day started and leaves me feeling energized, connected with my body, and more flexible! Thanks, Tom!
seal pose “only if this is comfortable, this one might be hard” me wow this is easy
Downward dog “thisone is basic”
Me how this fuck is this possible
I’m looking for a YouTube teacher to get my brother into yoga (and out of the mentality that’s it’s a girly thing) and I’m so glad I found your videos.
You’re teaching of correct technique (for beginners when they can’t just snap into poses requiring a lot of flexibly) and importance of calm breathing is just what I was looking for. Will recommend!
Thank you so much
Really enjoyed nice and relaxing after a good stretch. Namaste
I’m an 83 year old man that became very depressed after getting a double hip replacement. I accepted that I was in the dying stage of my life and would just sit in my chair everyday watching the news. My son has shown me this app called the YouTubes and now I am following the exercises of this healthy young man named Tom. I may not be able to do all the stretches but the ones I can do make me feel like my life is worth living, and I am slowly gaining my mobility back!
Fantastic video!! Thank you so much. I’ve been praying for one of this pace to do first thing in the AM. I’m so grateful, you nailed it!
Back in quarantine, so going to work on my flexibility. Very good routine to start with! Definitely going to subscribe for more.
dude, it’s 15 minutes on the dot! super impressed! Also, the stretches really help too!
I’m an intermediate my husband a beginner; we both enjoyed this routine!
Greetings from the Granite State. Thank you for the video. I did this to warm up for my main session, your “ Intense Warrior Core Workout “ from the 7 day challenge on the Sean Vigue Fitness app. That was some tough sledding, starting warmed up helped.
How come I never found this channel before?? I want to get my son (12 year old) into yoga, any suggestion/recommendation from where I should start with him?
He knows his yoga but this in my opinion is not for complete beginners. Its quite hard and more for intermediate users.
Thank you for this class I am a new subscriber. This is just what I was looking for to push my practice… now I have to work on the head stand:)
Thank you so much!!! First time doing yoga and I enjoyed it, and your video, immensely!!
Most these poses are from the ancient HATH YOGA. I am glad that these ancient knowledge is helping people for betterment.
Can anyone gain flexibility after 35 years age doing these exercises?
Great workout thanks so much. I really need to work on flexibility.
would you recommend doing this routine on a bed, or are there any specific moves that are safer to do on a bed? i’d love to get into this but I’m a little low on space:/
My ankles start to hurt after doing the strech at 2.44(after about 15seconds) and I cant hold the strech any suggestions?
I love this routine best beginner stretch I found so far. Works nicely and afterward you feel good. You wait for the part of the day to do this not dread.
didn’t know the prerequisites are to be insanely fit and look like jason mamao
I’m gonna try this man, the last yoga guy I followed turned out to be an anti-vaxxer who thought 5G was a problem
Thank you Tom! I’ve been doing this routine for almost 4 days now I am going to keep at it because its an amazing way to start the day.
Dude that warrior pose almost killed me, I yelped out in agony when I finished it
Thanks for the session. It made me sweat alot just like gymming.
I only do weight training and thought I would give this a try and I feel awesome. I have underestimated stretching way too long.
My first time attempting yoga ever. I’m beat lol i thoroughly enjoyed it though i can’t wait to continue! Thanks!
Thank you for all your videos! The quarantine isn’t something positive, but I’ve started doing yoga everyday, and I also started working out again. Thanks!
This was amazing. 22 minutes flew by. Thanks for this. I’m making this my morning practice.
“if you have a question leave a comment bellow”
he never anwered any questions
Hey,
I have been doing this routine for over 2 months now and I will be honest. I feel so much fresh and energetic after doing this, no other workout routine has made me feel that ever. Thanks for sharing. I suffer from PCOD and this has actually helped me with my cycles and the painful cramps. Thanks again. God bless you
I had to stop at 12 minutes, started to feel nauseous. All that built-up emotions being released.
Great,i just started today much calories does it burn in the 15 minutes?
Lmao, the thumbnail is how u should NOT stretch Ur lower back bc standing upright puts too much pressure on your lower back discs. Maybe you should do a little more research before u post such bs.
I’m one of the relatively unlucky guys who developed prostatitis at an early age. Normally I swim at 5:30 before work to manage my pain, but coronavirus has shut down all the gyms and pools. It has gotten increasingly bad over these few weeks, and other aerobics have not been helpful to me. Finally I realized yoga is an option, and after this simple video I feel a lot of pain reduction. Looking forward to the rest of your stuff, I like the style, thank you
Great video. Loved how it’s out in the snow and nature and the doggy. On the one stretch with the arms behind the back I couldn’t go down at all haha totes beginner
This is one of the best yoga videos for beginners. I have been following this since last few months and haven’t stopped.
I was complaining to my friend about not feeling in tune with my body and she sent me this. Started today, I feel great
Most yogi i’ve met are usually calm, i’m a bodybuilding enthusiast, but i would love to add yoga in my routine
Never done yoga. This this really helped me and got me hooked and doing it and more everyday though the pandemic it’s really been a life changer.
Thanks Sean from the UK
These videos are incredible I recently had a gnarly skydiving accident where I broke my tib fib and i have started these yoga cards as part of my recovery process and the definetly help.
I just met with a new pt and he suggested as homework till we meet next week to participate in beginner’s yoga. I’m happy to have found you and subscribed. I’ve done this yoga video twice. I will explore more of your videos. Thank you for sharing!
I am not new to yoga but was having lower back pain today and tried your lower back stretch video and Day 1 of this 30 day program. My back feels so much more relaxed than it did 45 minutes ago. I really appreciated your steady and gentle voice, your down to earth and organic directions, and your easy to follow instructions for basic poses. Thank you so much, this was a gift to me today.
Just started my journey today. Can’t wait what will i achieve after 30 days
Love this wish I could add an extra like every time I do it!
In Day 4 and I wish all the accessories needed for the 30-day challenge is established in the Day 1 video. I eventually plan to start everything again but I could’ve bought everything together. Perhaps this isn’t necessarily for those just starting yoga altogether.
Hey I want lose weight…how should I approch your videos…I did day1 it’s feels amazing…plz reply
great yoga for beginners cant wait to check out more of your advanced videos. this was a perfect yoga practice after a 12 hr work day. thank you
These videos look like the exact thing I needed to find. I am very skinny, lack flexibility and muscle, Yoga seems like the best solution to start getting my health back. I am hoping I can follow these videos each morning.
Thank you Sean! You bring peace and joy in every video. Thank you for your positive reinforcement.
I am sooooo happy i found this.
44 year old male, trying to get motivated and in shape! This is just the right thing.
Great trainingI’m completely beginner and it made my day! Thanks
You’re awesome, subscribed, likes, will be beneficial for me.
A few of the stretches are for intermediate; they’re too demanding for beginners.
I am 23 years old but have been stiff all my life, practiced karate for 10 years and we had similar poses like here actually, those I could do but the rest had me struggling hahaha I will try to do this every morning, let’s see if there’s any progress!
Yay!! I’m redoing this challenge 3 years later, and it’s still my all time favorite @yogawithtim challenge!!
I did this session yesterday and my shoulders, back muscles and arms are pretty sore today. Is that normal or I am just that much of a wimp??
Awesome vids…will try all the 30 days challenge…hi from indonesia:)
How long would you recommend doing these before you move on to more poses/longer time?( as a novice)
Hi Sean. I’m super inflexible with an office job. After only a week doing your beginners course and now this routine, I already feel so much better and already more flexible! I wish I’d discovered this years ago! Thanks so much.
“Be a proud peacock!” and “Encouragement my friends.” Soon as I heard Proud Peacock I remembered that Island macho gigolo/retreat instructor in Couples Retreat which I thoroughly enjoyed! Think I’ve seen it a couple times now. Getting older now, so might get into yoga some now, why not? As long as I don’t break anything… important.
Omg I’m out of shape can’t even do this without being hurt lol
I’ve been doing Yoga with Adrienne for years now and absolutely love her videos. She’s built the love for yoga for me and now I feel confident to learn from other instructors. This was a great first foundational video. I enjoyed your calm and patient demeanor and look forward to more!
I´m following your program 30 days to the total yoga body. It´s the second program of this kind I’ve followed. I’m loving it but, being a sedentary middle aged woman, I think I wouldn’t be able to face its difficulty if it was the first one. Anyway it has been both a pleasure and a challenge. Finally I understand the meanning of usual expressions such as «feel the energy from the soil» or «heart to the Earth and crown to the Sky» because you give many physical details on what to do about different muscles and joints. That gives me a path to awareness without distracting me with metaphors of obscure meaning. Thank you.
Am hoping it’s ok to miss a day occasionally. And I can pick up with your videos at my pace, right? If I’m just on Day 6, will the earlier videos disappear? If so, can we access them from time to time at later date? Thanks Tim for your excellent teaching method! Am really benefiting from your routines, even though I’m over sixty-five.
Did this for the first time and it was a lot harder than I thought haha. It was great despite making me realize how out of shape I am. Had a spinal fusion and 3 screws put in and have been having some more back pain come back and I don’t want to have another spinal fusion so I am giving your yoga videos a chance! Than you so much.
First time doing yoga stretching. When I exhaled the first time leaning back with hands over head my chest popped around 6 times all at once. Very refreshing.
Great video, I’m looking forward to completing the 30 days. Thank you!
very interactive…no so easy, but neither hard, so is a good balance for your muscle and mental…want to follow for tomorrow
Started this today. Disabled due to injury on the force. But this really, REALLY helped. Yes, I hurt in places I thought impossible, yes I farted a lot, but wow. I must get into a daily routine with this and meditation. ☮️
Made it through the routine, had to modify for the knee. Arthritis is winning right now but maybe with some better flexibility it will not be so painful. Thanks
He’s kinda awkward but in an endearing wayI dig it. Stoked to start this 30 day journey with ya!
Y’all think this man knows how amazing he is! My health thanks him!
Tim is truly giving everyone the gift of yoga. I’ve been teaching yoga for 22 years and haven’t found a teacher I liked this much! My husband and I love to practice together now. These videos are well sequenced and instructed. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful practice and dog ❤️
My 2nd time trying yoga, I live in Onalaska on Brice Prairie right by West Salem.
I have started with this 30 day yoga challenge. My yoga level is somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I feel this is a perfect challenge where I can do what I know early on and slowly increase my level. I like your rest days also!
wow….is it just me or I feel that my blood is rushing throughout my body
This is the video i was looking for.Best way & fresh thing to start during this lockdown (pandemic period ).I started my yoga 30 days challenge from today. Thank you from Nepal .
Thanks for the workout. Some muscles felt like they got a good stretch and others got fatigued, but all of it felt great!
Thank you! Great video. I was happy to find this it is right where I need to start for the 30 day challenge.
First time doing yoga and went straight to this video 8 minutes in started sweating heavy, guess i will start with the beginners and athletes video first. I will be back
I appreciate the sharing of knowledge but the ads in the middle really ruin it.
i had basketball training yesterday and as i woke up this morning i felt so tired and done, than i found this video now i feel much better after this routine.
Vigue is a great instructor. I do his short yoga routine every morning. I am an age group triathlete and do a lot of athletic training. It took me about a month to feel improvement and it feels great!
Great video that works brilliantly for me,easy to follow,I’m 59 and I thought stiffness was just part of life now! I now feel great and my aches and pains are disappearing fast and my energy levels are increasing daily, cheers Sean, really happy i found this.
this was my first yoga session. It was amazing. I will be back for more!
I followed your lesson for beginners (men) from 2015, and noticed something. Before the session I couldn’t completely extend my legs (at the knee), but after the session (and a few hours rest), it doesn’t take me much effort at all to fully extend my legs (except for holding them in the air). This was my first-ever Yoga session. Is this normal?
Edit: I’m 22 years old.
I don’t do much subscribing but this video was everything I’m looking for for a pre work stretch after I wake up thanks

I bet that lawn is a nightmare to upkeep with all those pines.
Great stuff for beginners ❣️ how long do you hold each pose?
today i had YOGA FOR MEN episode 1 and after that day 21 of the IGNITE program. love it. thank you for sharing. Take care.
Thank you for this Sean! I am using this video to try to get my very sore general contractor partner started with Yoga….your style is perfect for a total newbie, I appreciate you!!!
Thanks Sean for this great video. I keep coming back to this video every time I want to regain my energy. You have a great sense of humor too!
I come from a powerlifting / bodybuilding background but have had to really stop lifting at this point. My hip and neck and basically everything in my body is so tight and imbalanced these days. I developed tinnitus, a clogged ear, sensitivity to sounds, headaches, and TMJ disorder over the last few years. It seems my symptoms sometimes get worse as I am lifting or exerting myself.
Someone recommended I try yoga to get myself correct and maybe it would alleviate my symptoms. It’s weird because I always tried to be active about stretching, foam rolling, and listening to my body. I guess it’s possible I let my ego get in the way of truly listening, though. I don’t know if this is gonna help me but doctors haven’t found anything they can fix. Wish me luck, I guess.
You exercise literally helped my upper back and shoulders. I dont have the pain anymoreamazing!
I loved that this video is in Wisconsin. Wisconsinite here, born and raised. Namaste brother.
I did this session after running. It’s perfect to come down and release the tension of the run. Thanks Sean, always a pleasure!
question: how do i explain to my family what im doing at 3:30
Came straight after finishing your ignite series to this, wow feeling the burn again! Thanks for putting out these classes to the world From just over a month I’ve gone from having never tried Yoga to it now being part of my everyday routine. Looking forward to learning more from you guys!
This is a great morning stretch. Child pose is the best ever. I’m looking forward to becoming more fliexible in my hips and improving my posture.
wew just done! Old vid though but still helps a lot. thanks bud!
Great stuff, very engaging, easily to follow and love the little jokes. Thanks!
I’ve done this twice already, have a bit of pain by my right hip joint. Is this normal stretching pain, should I continue through it or rest
Just starting today first time joining a yoga class. Looking forward to the next 29!
Banged this one out this morning Coach Vigue:) all the way from Melbourne, Australia. Cheers for all the content you put out it’s magnif!! For someone who considers them self fit some of the workouts you’ve got going are fire starters love em!!!! Appreciate the work you put in to get videos like these out helped me and a many more i’m sure. Love the random phrases and lines you add in. Cheers:)
Obviously a different video but I managed bird of paradise today and I wanted to tell you. Though I was in good shape before I started yoga, those starting out should know that you just might be able to do the things that seem impossible right now. Keep at it.
Im 26, and this is my first yoga session. Worth it, sweat a little too much i think.
Love this guy… wish I could work out with him…. want to kiss his feet..
Sean’s videos and books are great. I like his gentle yet disciplined approach. All sorts of stiffness and aches went away after I started using Sean’s videos.
10 minutes in and I can’t physically bend in that way. My legs can’t stay straight and I can’t lean forward that far. Does anyone know what I can do to substitute? This is my very first time trying this and have had many flexibility issues die to a mos shapen ball joint in my hip.
Thanks in advance
I cycle a lot at 72 yo. 125+ per week. 5k a year. Never knew yoga could be so helpful for a cyclist. Thanks. Some of my buddies do this. Giving it a try
I’m not a man or a beginner but really enjoyed this! Helped me be more intentional in poses I usually go into without much thought, THANK YOU!
