You should walk a minimum of 3-4 times per week (every other day). For weight loss, you should walk most days of the week, at least five days per week. Walking at least every other day is best.
That won’t always be possible, but try not to skip more than two days in a row.Start out warming up with a five-minute, slower paced walk. Slow your pace to cool down during the last five minutes of your walk.
Start at a pace that’s comfortable for you. Then gradually pick up speed until you’re walking briskly — generally about 3 to 4 miles an hour.Walking is a beneficial exercise.
Make it a habit by heading out every day for 65 days, challenging yourself with goals and going with a friend.A workable schedule for some is Sunday off, and crosstraining on Wednesday. As a beginner you may want to get the walking habit down before you add crosstraining to your routine.
It is natural to feel a little tired or have a few muscle aches when beginning a fitness program. Do.Getting Started The best way to transform a walking habit into a fitness routine is to prioritize it – keep these tips in mind: Set goals – start with a small goal like walking 15 minutes each day during lunch. Work your way up gradually week by week to hit new goals whether it is faster speeds, longer bouts, or different terrains.Get some sun (or a happy light, if it’s a gray day.) Move your body (walk, exercise) for 20 minutes or longer.
In fact, you can build a great habit by starting a walking routine. Walk a.The small habits could include identifying three priority tasks for the day, picking the “next steps” for your top projects, removing distractions, and starting your day by working on the hardest task.Create a prerun routine to cue your body and mind that it’s time to run, and repeat it every time you go.
Always go at the same time of day. Put your workout clothes next to your bed. Put on your.
Onc e you turn your walking routine into a daily habit, you won’t have to worry about motivation – you’ll just get out and walk! You can start creating a daily habit today that will make hitting your step goals a breeze, but you do have to actively make it happen. The good news is that once you’ve built up your everyday walking habit, that 10,000 step goal will become a basic part of.Going for a quick walk is better than sitting on the couch; one minute of activity will help you lose more weight than no activity at all. That said, the current recommendations for most adults is to reach at least 150 minutes of moderate activity per week.
You’ll get there by exercising for 30 minutes, 5 times a week.Schedule Your Walks. A lot of people make a goal to walk every day, but quickly find that other things get in the way. If you struggle to find time during your day to squeeze a walk in, don’t just leave it to chance.
Schedule your walks the way you would an appointment!Whatever works for you and your schedule. Want to stop drinking a 2 liter of Mountain Dew every day? Scale it back to 1.9 liters a day for a week. Then 1.8 for a week.
Then 1.7 Want to get out of debt and build the habit of frugality? Start by saving an extra five bucks a day, or finding a way to earn an extra 5 bucks a day.WebMD has compiled 10 tips for making fitness a habit in your life. To create the list, we sought the help of Klein, along with long-term fitness buff Roy Stevens and his wife, Wanda, who is.
The sample walking program below is a guide to help you get started. Your walking sessions may be longer or shorter than this sample program, based on your ability. If you are walking less than three times per week, give yourself more than 2 weeks before adding time to your walk.
Make it fun. The best way to stick to your habit is to make it enjoyable. To do so, switch up your walking route once a week.
If your walk normally takes you through town, try walking some trails instead for a change of scenery. Nature walks actually enhance the benefits of walking, too. Uneven terrain can help you get a better walking workout.

Have a week when you move around and work out a lot for a few minutes every hour or two everyday, soo a normal week of working out once a day would feel like a reward.
With hangers you spend less time plying n keeping or putting cloth inside or whatever
I actually experienced this, I just never really thought of it. I used to play a lot of videogames on my computer, and since I had to move I had my desktop unplugged, just sitting in the desk without any cable. And just to avoid getting on all the hassle of looking for the cable, plugging it and all I went for like 2 weeks without playing at all.
I’m in the habit of walking but I haven’t linked it to something else
Is that taipei 101 on the background? I hope you enjoyed Taiwan!
I’d be interested in a break down of maintaining creative habits
No. 7, to bond with someone or live with someone. After living with roommates and so I feel like living my myself is best most times. I stress and worry less. I also need silence to recharge but my husband doesn’t quite get that. He always needs noise.♀️
I can’t wake up early. I have delayed sleep disorder that is very stubborn. I do wake up early enough to make breakfast, though. I’m lucky that I start work in the late morning.
Love the apartment door!
Seriously, the “cue” thing sounds very effective. Thank you very much! I’ve just realized I’m already doing it. I’ve been struggling for a long time to do my eye exercises daily. They only take five minutes but I just got sidetracked every day and never got around to them. Then gradually, I started doing my eye exercises as I listened to motivational videos on Youtube (usually yours). Now I’ve developed a habit: every time I open Youtube I find a nice video and start doing those exercises. Perfect! I don’t even notice it anymore, it’s an ingrained habit. But I did’t realize I was using the “cue” method. I’m gonna try it with something else now! Thank you!
Can you get Master of the day in bookstores in the UK??? Don’t want to have to order it from the US… keep up the good stuff I love the positivity and the fact you “keep it real” without it being super cliche or cringey all the time which is something pretty rare x
What kind of camera/ settings to get great lighting like this video? Thanks
Great! Mine: Breathing (diaphramic), Diet (whole plant food) & Supplement (medically advised), Laugh, Exercise, Learn (whatever / science), Read A Positive Belief System, Music (uplifting), Fast (after 6), Seek Beauty (in all), Sleep, Work (as worship), Help / Teach:-) Most concepts by Abdul-Baha, Baha’i Faith
Good stuff Alex, your video quality is outstanding!:D Which camera do you use out of curiosity?
I would have thought it would be better to create your to do list the evening before. Same with preparing your clothes, washing dishes etc.
i aways believe in small steps leading regular habits and big results. i have started eating healthy in May. completed a 30 day fitness plan in 35 days in May-June. all of this is the prep for a more intense workout plan with the goal of gaining weight and muscle. completed 2 days of the 3 month plan today. thanks for your tips on healthy living and achieving our goals.
habit anchoring works better if tied to old habit or daily routine.
Can you create something around on how philosophy can help people achieve their career goals if we just fill the connection right!
I am switching Gyms I hope this will help me more motivated They have 3 times the classes almost every hr. so No excuses for me missing classes, I will have My In-laws as Accountably partners they all go there, I am the type of person that I need someone to hold my feet to the fire, They have Olympic, Indoor and out door pool And whirlpool And Cafe and Massages, spa area, I have never been so excited in my life About A gym So far I am going to 2 classes A day And Swimming with my in-laws my other gym was so depressing And Had hardly none of this, the only reason I stayed was because I loved my yoga teacher, so I am feeling like A trader right now, but I can’t stay just because of one instructor, we can still do things together I just hope the newness of this new gym doesn’t wear off

Hi I really like farting but I don’t have the motivation to pump them out every time, is the any way I can get around this? Many thanks to what your doing, really helping me with my problems
Dangit. I’ve only been meditating for 5 hrs. Thats where I went wrong.
The part about having a bare minimum routine is extremely helpful also waking up to something you like sounds like a good reason to get up early as i strugglr with this
Worth Watching Though
TIP 1 0:32 Compile inspiration
TIP 2 1:32 Design Routine
TIP 3 3:58 Adjust your Routine
TIP 4 5:03 Utilize
TIP 5 6:29 Make your Routine Fun
Anyone else feel like they just watched five minutes of someone speaking but he didnt actually say anything?
Thank you for your video since i have given up social media i have completely solved my sleep disorder! Very nice advice on many topics. It is so importsnt to adjust the routine for slow days…otherwise it is very easy to get stressed.
This is a great philosophy and now that I think about it, I’ve been doing this already with some of my habits but I understand now this is the reason some attempts failed so far! Great video, great explanation
I follow the book “ The Miracle Morning” first thing and then write down my intention for the day as well as the top 3 things I want to get done
I think the first tip is the one I will start right now: Writing down at the back of the page what needs to be in my routine. So I will follow Tip# Compile Inspiration in the back of your planner.
Aloha Thomas. I am a sleep technologist, been studying sleep medicine (listening to people’s morning/night habits) for nearly 14 years, in hopes of getting my Phd in sleep. I can tell you that your habits truly make or break your health, which correlates to your success in life as you agree. I appreciate your content. I’m all about tweaking my own habits. One thing I highly suggest is to invest in a light therapy box to be by your bedside table. When you get up, turn it on. It sets your circadian rythm. I have it on for at least 15 minutes while I meditate in bed and when I write at least one gratitude sentence in my journal. I also will do a five minute stretching yoga near my bed in the morning (I have a yoga mat layed out near my bed that’s permanently there). Yes, OCD routine but to its what works for me and for my patients as they too have incorporated my routine. Using red light therapy is one that I’m incorporating in my routine as well. Have you tried it? Much health benefits. Keep up your work as you inspire me to try new things as well. Mahalo.
I have been using the Habit Tracker pretty extensively the last few weeks in particular, when I need to be accountable for the things in my life that are important, but which may fall by the wayside with stress and forgetfulness. I’m excited when I get a full day checked off, even if I only did a task for a tiny bit per day (like picking up a guitar for 15 minutes). It does build awareness, habit, routine, and sometimes I miss it when I can’t get it into my day. This is so important while we’re dealing with being stuck at home, without outside structure. Thanks!
I don’t think that the to do list is the best way to plan your day
When he said ” I wake up at 3am” bruh I go to bed at 3 am and when he said he meditated for 6 hours that just cracked me up
Great video! Sketchbooks are what i use to draw everyday, I have tour of them on my channel! Your video was really good!
Passion Planner is the best channel for mindset videos and teaching us how to be the best version of ourselves possible I actually created my own channel, ‘Taylor Victoria’, to show even MORE videos like this Come and check it out and I will always follow back
No. 6 Be thankful… But to whom?
You cannot be thankful to nobody or yourself..
So to whom am I supposed to b thankful?
I heard so much about this being thankful, it makes you feel better…
But if you cannot thank somebody, you in fact are not thankful
So many things… I’ll not remember doing them… I’ll just stay unsuccessful…
I get right up and don’t linger when the alarm goes off in the morning. If I linger, I get behind. I also give myself a time limit for media including such as this. The early morning weekends are when I give myself the most leeway. Good information, Paula!
Morning pages originally came from The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, for what that’s worth! Wanted to reference the source.
Thanks for this video, your content is great! You got a new subscriber! It would be lovely to cooperate, and I would love some honest feedback from a successful creator like you! Here is my newest channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbcV86SHIhFU8sTi0EwGOdQ Keep creating, your videos are awesome!!
I would love to see a shot of your idea pages! Thank you for the excellent advice.
Thanks for the helpful tips! I’m trying to be kinder to myself this year. One of the ways I’m doing that is to make sure my daily goals aren’t too lofty. When I aim too high, I often “fail” and then beat myself up and then quit. Not a terribly useful process lol. So I loved what you said about hitting the gym 2-4 times a week. Perfect example! One question, do you use a separate journal for your morning pages? Thanks!
I stopped listening when he said I get up at 3am like bro I go to sleep at 5am
“Struggle bus”! haha I like how so many of these videos concentrate on, or at least mention, giving grace to yourself. The PP allows you to not just to plan for the future but to look back so on a week when you’re not doing so hot, flip back to be reminded that you have killed it at one time or another and that you can kill it again. #do-over
This helped out so much! Thank you! (By the way, I follow Lavendaire also! She’s amazing! )
I really like what you said about having a daily routine with a “minimal” routine highlighted for the more difficult days. I need to try that!
Recently getting an “accountability partner” has helped me with getting stuff done in general it’s been quite helpful in staying focused and also doing and sticking to monthly/weekly/daily planning. I’m starting to use the Passion Planner calendar pages a lot more often, and I like to use colored dots to mark on the calendar when I’ve accomplished each part of my daily routine.
Super video, thanks!:)
Do you have a video on healthy snack food and ideas for alternating meals? This is something I struggle with. Thanks either way
This was a great video thanks for sharing! I am just starting out with my morning and evening routines and it has been challenging….but I am getting there. This video really gave me some tips I like the part about highlighting what you must do just in case you are overwhelmed, I also like the part about making it fun. It is interesting how you thought outside the box when making it fun by scheduling Netflix in the morning. That makes me think about how I can make mine more fun. Thanks!!
Summary of the VIDEO. 1. Make a do list
2. Take a cold shower
3. Schedule your day
4. Wake up early
5. Affirmations and visualizations
6. Gratitude
7 Bond with some one early

Every time i wake up in the morning i grab my smartphone and i watch youtube, I’m so addicted to it and it makes me not do my chores, i trying to figure out how to stop the addiction of me using my phone but I’m struggling with it, i got important stuff i need to do but my phone has cool stuff we can do, ( for example) we can watch youtube, we can use snapchat, Twitter instagram and Facebook and that make us so addicted to it. Thank you so much for this video, i need do something lol.
Thank you for help us to be a better successeful people everyday de have more rockbock that don’t let be a successeful or reach our goal
These hand-drawn videos are really annoying. No need to illustrate points with phony animation.
Thank you for this video. I am excited to add some of these to my morning routine. My 1yr old daughter and two yr old son are my bonding in the morning. I love waking up to their faces giving then hugs and kisses and seeing then smile.
I was soo close to clicking out of the video when I heard 6 hours of meditation
A video on going to sleep early. I swear I always say I will but then the phone turns on.=(
1.Don’t snooze the alarm.. It will give you the first win of the day
So this list is really good the only thing I would change is number 10) I would do read a positive book,
*the magic of thinking big
*The untethered soul
* the bible or quran
If you hit the snooze button in the morning, then you are accepting that the first thing you do that day, is fail.
Powerful.
Great advice. Thanks for sharing this!

Cold showers don’t work for everyone. Actually it might be dangerous for people with pre existing conditions and as we all know most people in the world are not healthy and suffering from a health issue or two if not more. I personally find warm showers much more effective and soothing. Anyway, boring video!
I love you videos, but can you talk a little slower? It’s hard to keep up sometimes
I have been doing this for a week and it works soooo well. Thx for making the vid
How to start this all, everything do on every morning wake up? and by everyday not the night before?
1. Make a To-do-list 0:19 – 1:02
2. Energise themselves 1:03 – 1:27
3. Schedule their day 1:28 – 1:59
4. Wake up early 2:00 – 2:35
5. Focus on positive 2:36 – 3:47
6. Gratefulness 3:48 – 5:06
7. Bond with someone early on 5:07 – 5:48
8. Clean from the night before 5:49 – 6:25
9. Silence 6:26 – 7:06
10. Read about what happened the night before 7:07 – 8:01

Your so fun to listen to there are lots of YouTube videos that people are too serious that talk about the same thing as you but it is boring but you are informational and interesting
Succesful people do NOT have a to do list bro! Anyways thnks!
“Mow the lawn by 3pm.” I like that! I’ve been trying to implement 20 minites of cardio in the morning, it’s easy to delay and then it’s lunch time and ur full of food so no longer morning or able to. “Will do cardio by 830.” Is my new to do item or affirmation.
Wake up with a mirror like sink the pleasure that it gives. wow.
Those statements that you mentioned in your video are not affirmations. Affirmations need to be said in present time:
I am successful.
I am lucky.
I am loved.
I am happy.
Do not say:
❌I will be successful
❌I will be happy…
Cuz it won’t work!!!
First thing i do in my morning Alhamdulillah is stretch then i look out the window well after prayer. I run around and check all the others and let the sunshine in. Then i check my phone and never look up again I NEED HELP
Great advice. Thanks for sharing this!

How can a vegan bar be 150% Vegan? Either its 100% vegan or not 100% vegan. Thats false marketing
My only criticism is maybe you can implement more colour in your drawings
You’re right I don’t hit the snooze button. I sleep past it. Thus never hitting the snooze button. How to wake up when the alarm rings is my problem.
Wait, what? The CEO of a very vegan bar production company is eating keto??? Bacon, eggs, bullet proof coffee? Ok.
The most important step in the morning for everyone to become a millionaire is to #Open your eyes
this video is perfect for me, thanks a lot. I want to add something different:HAVİNG A JOYFUL BREAKFAST CAN BOOST YOUR ENERGY 😉
I like this, but number 7, BRUH U CANT JUST GO UP TO PEOPLE AND ASK “1V1 ME FAM” LAMO
Hmm…I think I’ll skip out on number 7 lol. The rest are great though
That is the stupidest thing to do, read about something that happened last night. Ok.
Is there a sequel to this? I’ve been easily walking several miles for years. I wanted to know how to smoothly transition into working out. What do I do?

I like your wisdom, and you have a soft voice=
not yelling out a obnousuas knowledge,,,, it would turn into obnoxiousness because of a preachy voice yelling which I cant stand,,,, so i do enjoy your wisdom, very nice……….Thank you………
So basically we are the same lazy fucks, but it’s lazier to just play the guitar than go for those batteries. Tbh i like the idea
I have been watching some of your videos it’s amazing that you share a lot of common opinions with me
thanks for your nice video
i’m going to do these right now:D
I will definitely try to incorporate morning pages and Netflix in my routine! ❤️
For the affirmations part it’s better to say what you wanna say in the present tense for example instead of saying: I will make 1000$ today
Say: I make 1000$ a day
I WILL DO IT. 1) Read some scriptures and ask for understanding. 2) Healthy breakfast that doesn’t drain me 3) Weightlifting and cardiovascular for 30 minutes to 40 minutes 4) Writing my stories and studying craft in 30 minute segments 5) catch up on the news. Entertainment. This could be number 2 also, but limited………..Consider a possible 9 to 5 so therefore, I’ll have to modify my schedule.
so like i need to dump my notes into the middle of my house so i revise
got that
OMG. netflix in the morning might be a gamechanger for me…
This guy is the most indoctrinated wannabe-capitalist i’ve ever seen
Just posted my morning routine on my channel if anyone’s interested
I am so tired but I can’t ever for sleep can you please help do you have that video now I can’t sleep at night for a lot reasons
It is more of converting your immediate thought into action. It is possible that in the 20 seconds you generate another thought which can easily divert us. Very meaningful video for all those who understand the importance of habits.
I am 12 and I’m going to become successful in life in school and work and achieving money
I always wake up early I am the 2nd person to wake up everyday, and I wake up in 7:00.
Yep! Up at 5 a.m. to spend time with God! He gives me all that I need to start the day! Try taking a look at what God has to say about you. Pretty powerful!
Reflect, that this is just a hack. Eventually you must master your self, through traits such as self-discipline!
I thought I was watching one of those commercials that run before the vid… then I was like… he looks so similar to Tom…wait… xD Also, found the most expensive healthfood item, powdered midichlorians.

I feel really good that I had never hit the snooze bottom ever. I wake up early in the morning because I go to bed early at night. The one habit I have trouble though is to do exercise consistently.
If you are having difficulty in waking up early then download alarmy on your device. You cant turn of the alarm until you do a task like multiplying 2 digit number a 100 times. It works!
Letting go of scrolling social media or any screen time before bed is an excellent reminder for everyone. Science says that screen time at night delays the release of melatonin which is what gets us to sleep. So if you go to bed at 10PM and look at your device for a while, that means your body is not falling off to deep sleep until midnight or later depending on how long you watch your device.
Netflix in the morning is such a genius idea!! I would be so much more excited about waking up early…I’m totally stealing it!
Your bedtime routine is a very important step to your morning routine.
Tip 1:
Commit to a regular bedtime every night and make sure you commit to it.
Tip 2:
Prepare everything you need for the morning. Eg: Clothes, Shoes, Bag, Breakfast anything you need to do/find in the morning. So you don’t have to rush around looking for your socks….
Tip 3:
Take a notepad/pen ti bed with you. Write down atleast 5 items that want to get done tomorrow.
Prioritize them from1 to 5.
Now circle the first 3 items you wrote and only focus on them for tomorrow.
Tip 4:
Once you are ready to choose your eyes for sleepy time, go on YouTube and choose video from the (subliminal messages) list. I prefer the rain sound. Choose the messaging that will help you for where you are right now and commit to it for 7 straight nights.
This week im focusing on (enjoy working hard).
Tip 5:
As you close your eyes, listening to the subliminal sounds, imagine walking up to the alarm tomorrow morning feeling energetic and ready to go. Imagine getting out of bed straight away (no hitting the sleep button). And visualize yourself going through the morning routine. Imagine yourself getting out of bed, standing up, walking to the coffee machine, going to the bathroom. You get the picture. Visualize yourself doing everything you are going to do. All the way until you leave the house or start working on your goals.
If you do this for atleast 7 days straight, you will be blown away how easy your morning routines will become.
what he claims to do in the morning is just kinda unrealistic i mean 6 hours medetation 2 books a walk full brekfast what do you do go to sleep at 3 and wake up at 10 the night before
How can a person meditate for 6 Hours straight??? After waking up? Lol I would fall asleep sitting there again how the f u stay awake?
I big problem I have is learning on my own. I have very useful apps, but for me to start learning and do it everyday is a problem. I always experience laziness in studying. I don’t know what to do? Like I want to learn a few computer skills and I have the app.But for me to start is like hell.
This YT channel is one of the reasons why I decided to start uploading videos too to share the things I have learned and possibly helpful to other people. I love habits of effective leader, been sharing ur video to my trainees. Keep up the good work. I wish I could draw too. hahahahaha!
I’m so baked that when I first started watching this I thought this dude was serious LMAO

How do u meditate for 6 hours. What is the benefits of doing it that long compared to one hour.
Hey dude! You kick ass! I’m so happy you’re making these, you deserve so many more subscribers. Thank you!
But these tips are suitable for the person who really their situations are perfect?
I tried morning page writing but, like the energizer bunny, i just kept going, and going and going…:-)
Now I get up in the morning and simply start working where I left off the day before…allowing flex and flow throughout the day, but one large-ish project to focus on, like the floors. I also had to change my perception by changing and redefining words like cleaning or organizing…today I design floor space and do designs from ceiling to floor…i have fun with the whole house, holistically designing my whole space in stages, first things first snd finished to move forward to next first thing I need to do today with the one large project in mind, even if thats juxt todays art page/piece/ part and parcel of the whole picture which is my living wholly, loving me first. Good vid as a prompt for my mind to go to work. Tks:-)
Just bought your book. Thanks for a great video, keep helping.
I didn’t realise the beginning was a joke and I nearly freaked out
I hate the edit of alpha m so you don’t do that it defends his fans aka me
Did he just say that his coffee has Medichlorians in it?
Captain America: I understood that reference

He totally had me in the beginning. LOL! I have been trying to get into a simple early morning routine or exercise and general productivity…Not working for me. I can’t seem to actually get up…and I’m a light sleeper who rarely sleeps more than 6 6 1/2 hours a day.
Do you think he noticed that his fake vegan businessman eats bacon in the morning?
Hey Tom, You should check the audio of this video time 06:32 to 06:36.
owns a company of vegan bars. Eats 8 slices of black pepper bacon XD
Treadmill, exercise machine that u walk on, and the lifting weights
Early in the morning, I try to keep a small timeline plan, so that I can attract ideas regarding to the timeline plan, in the rest of the day.
I generally quite like the content he puts out. Then he mentioned “midiclorians” and I now find him stupidly attractive.
After moving to another flat I started to keep chocolate and other sweets in a cuppboard above the fridge. I am quite short, so I can’t reach there without using the ladder. Usually I’m too lazy to go to the balcony to grab the ladder and climb, so now I don’t eat that much sweet things that I used to do. On the other hand when I receive sweets, I just ask my fiancee, who is much taller, to put them in the cupboard, so it’s no effort for me to hide them there.
That’s fabulous, thanks!
We do for 90 days an ultimate challenge, where we will
-Wake up every morning at 4:30
one hour of mindfulness meditation
30 min yoga
plant based O.M.A.D diet 23h fasting One Meal A Day
Insanity workout by Shaun T.
we quit smoking
Markus Aurelian’s night routine
30 min evening meditation
I will try to implement some of your’s as well!
Yes I’m going to create one. Once I leave my home, there’s only one place to go and be productive, so I have to do most of my production homebound.
Thank you for discussing your struggles to create your best life! I appreciate your honesty so much! It completely encourages me.
why is this morning routine so popular? whenever I do my workouts in the morning the effort makes me hungrier than an elephant while if i do them during the evening i can go to be easier and get a great sleep afterwards:) so, not everyone is a morning person, guys…
Anyone else here bc they need a morning routine bc they are going back to school
I’m so excited to have found your channel! I’ve been wanting to experiment with more engaging ways to record and share information about projects that I’m working on, and visual note-taking really piqued my interested.
I was about to shut this down ’til I saw the fool st the beginning was an act.
Brilliant, love it! Encouraging! I often get “buried” by “life” and never get around to drawing. Thanks for your inspiration and tips.
Very useful information, I have learnt a lot by watching your videos. Greetings from Colombia.
Yeah Coronavirus brought me here.
Yeah its going into month 2
What did ya expect
That’s a great habit to have, and a great idea to practice drawing skills. Thank you!
Amazing channel and totally unique approach. Thank you so much
Check out this. It may help you tame your mind and body. https://mysocietyview.com/best-morning-routine/
Popular words so-called adults like to use…essentially, amazing, phenomenomal, super excited etc…The average person is lost in their mind, thinking all there is, is words..
i get up about 10am. get a coffee. cough. smoke my vape for 20 mins. have another coffee. then ill smoke a little weed. then by 11-12 ill begun work and wont stop until 1am. i hate my life.
Butter midichlorians? I’m glad Lucasfilm didn’t call copyright!
Omg I actually do this a lot and I didn’t realize I was doing it!
Thank you for this playlist series. Can you do a video on starting a meditation routine? Is there a breathing technique or thought process?
I just unpinned my game apps from “Start”. While relaxing they also can be major distractions.
Is feeling guilty because is staying up around midnight watching videos on how to improve your life and not being able to do it today because I cannot function with more than 10 hours of sleep
love your chanel so much!! it helped me a lot, to grow and have a better life!
Thanks bro……u gave a logical result to stop our bad habits
I’m having the same problem trying to get back into drawing. Both of my equipment, and computer are in my bedroom. So how do I make my mouse, or even my internet less accessible?
THis happens to me all the time, I want to play a game I like, but plugging in the controller and booting up the ps4 takes too long and I just end up on youtube.. again
150% vegan?! No wonder vegans are all about it. They have 50% more than what we originally thought to exist!
What happens when what you want to do is 3 seconds away from what your habit is, and that you can’t change it?
HANGERS MAGIC..Every cloth that u can put on hangers whether wet or semi dry. ON HANGERS OUTSIDE. Then take all hangers after directly to the gardrobe. Ironing can wait.
I like your basic premise here. Decrease the barrier by 20 seconds worth of effort. I’m tracking my habit building journey here http://www.onehabiteachmonth.wordpress.com I’d love your feedback on how to apply this concept to some of the habits I’m working on.
I used to be a bodybuilder but after surgery which needed a LOT of recovery, my routine was gone.
Totally gone ♂️
It’s been a year now and I’ve struggled to get it back, even when watching the glorious body I’d made for myself fade away.
Frustrating….
Now my dumbbells are at the bottom of the stairs and I have to deliberately move them out the way or break my toes
This shit makes so much sense it’s scary. Well time to conquer the world
How does one account for when your routine is influenced by external factors? Like things you can’t control
MAID MODE ON. Put yourself on servant mode n think that this is my job n i have to do it. dishes will be done n sink also will be shiny.
i place the tv tv in the kitchen like this can cook n watch t same time
As someone with severe mental health issues the highlighting trick is EVERYTHING! My abilities in what I can do day to day varies so heavily, so it allows me to not feel guilty about not fulfilling all the promises I’ve made to myself
Very good approach, you only need to be honest with yourself…
So, it’s basically making use of our laziness patterns. Gotcha! I actually already do some of these. Confirmation is nice.
How about things like laundry, dishes, deep cleaning, fingernail clipping.. stuff like thatmiscellaneous hygiene
Now THAT is great advice! I spend less by just taking cash and leaving my card at home. If I wanted to badly enough, I could go home and get the card or go to the bank and withdraw more cash, but 99% of the time that’s just too much trouble. So yeah, make it easier to do the positive behavior or more difficult to do the negative one.
I try wake a up few hours before
To get my self together lol
Let us know what something that has helped you with your routine!
decide not to decide. if u decide to watch tv.then dont decide so. if u want to stay on the bed.first. then the laundry. decide vice versa. when u ends the u tube the laundry is done.
Amazing idea, Gonna try this. I’ll post my experience after 2 weeks applying this for sure.
Thank you so much for this video. I never realized it, but all of my habits that stick have been ones that I linked to before or after another activity. When I wanted to start reading, I would always have a book on my nightstand and read it before I went to bed. Now I realize the reason it worked is because I didn’t just say, I want to develop the habit of reading, I said, I want to develop the habit of reading before I go to sleep every night. Great to know that I can use this strategy for every area of my life that I am working to improve!
Morning Pages comes from author Julia Cameron from “The Artist’s Way.”
I have accidentally been using this tool the last 48hrs. I brought my laptop to work, and am not done with it at work so when I come home it’s still in my bag. The work it takes to take it out of the bag is too much so I never take it out and I find something else to do. It would take about 20sec to get it out and set it up.
as a former alcoholic that would routinely chug vodka straight from the bottle… I lol’d at the suggestion of removing the glasses.
Although moving the bottles might help slightly more.
Great work! Didn’t think about the positive or negative reinforcement techniques with habits before. Any suggestions for getting to bed early or not being late?
Good video but it’s now out of date. ‘Willpower as a finite resource’ is the idea of ego depletion and is false. This has only recently been discredited as the latest large scale analyses have shown.
Very nice. Interesting that there are 2 choices (generally): either make the positive habit 20s easier to continue or make the negative habit 20s more difficult
No, I’m not lazy by any means. I’m stuck and I have limited resources, but I make them work for me.
I really appreciated this video! I felt guilty for quitting FB but it has honestly helped with my well-being. I really need to work on adjusting my routine. I really like having a bare minimum for the hard days. Thank you!
Just started riding my pelotone bike today… it’s in my parent’s room because we all use it. Any ideas for making that a habit?
the power of habits is really important and underestimated. but I actually can’t stand this “speech” structure that I’m seeing in EVERY TED video. let these people talk and express their ideas. the speech structure is so insincere and it makes me tune out
