I’ve noticed that almost every video I can find here on youtube about eating a HFLC diet includes comments from skringen. I have tried low carb diets before and could not stick to it past 6 weeks, why would it work for me now? Great informative video! Watching from Toronto, Canada (we are @fatfedme on IG). Would love to hear more about the breathwork. Also, are you not worried that you are eating too low protein? If you are eating that many extra calories, why not also increase the protein, as you’d still have a great high fat ratio. We’ve been reading the “How to heal your metabolism” book, she recommends cutting back on exercise, so we’ve just started trying that. We’ve just started checking/recording our heart rate/temp to check and see how our metabolism is doing. Today one of us did about a 30-minute workout and had a positive result, increase in HR/temp, the other one seems to have overdone it as had a lower HR/Temp than prior to the workout. Do you track your HR/temp to track your metabolism rate too? Seems you did this gradually, so do you recommend the same with exercise? Maybe not 6x a week if you are healing? Or is it better to do a shorter workout daily as long as you’re getting a positive result with HR/temp? You talked about eating within 30 minutes of waking. We usually take the dog for a barefoot walk first thing, and by the time we are back, warm up the espresso machine, and make our coffee shake (espresso/americano w/ HWC, raw duck yolk, brown butter ghee, whipped up in the vitamix), it’s close to two hours after we’ve been awake. So thinking we could try having some butter before we head out the door? How much fat would we need to have to make it count? Thanks Sarah!

I am always impressed with Dr Attia’s presentations. Its a source of repeated frustration, however that the AV person shooting the videos (or perhaps its just a cameral on a tripod?) cannot seem to grasp the following simple concept: One can pan to the charts or the visuals that the doctor is referring to, to the benefit viewers everywhere as well as the continuity of information he is presenting since the AUDIO of the doctor’s VOICE is still audible to the user. It would improve make these presentations so much more watchable. Either that or move back so the visual and the doctor are in the same frame for crying out loud.
He should have a cabinet position in our government to steer healthcare policies in the right direction.

Per Dr. Berg, negative menopausal symptoms are caused by poor adrenal function. It’s nice to see a humble Doctor who acknowledges not knowing everything. But, there is plenty of research that explains alot about disease and correlation to what we eat. There is proof that an anaerobic, acidic environment is the breeding ground for most diseases, including, and especially, Cancer. I’m not an “expert”, I’m just open minding and my first question I always ask is, “Follow the money, where does that lead?” For anyone interested, there is an awesome book that goes into the science, history, and politics of health called, “The PH Miracle” by Dr. Robert Young.
