I love crazy intense cardio after a good calisthenics workout. I feel extremely agile
Heavyweight boxers all have elite level cardio and huge muscular build, cardio and muscle are not each other’s enemies.
So that means I gotta run a mile multiple times a week for the army while bulking at the same time in 2 months. How exactly do I build that endurance?
this. I’ll be around to see you grow as I’m growing, this is the motivation everyone needs.
that’s it, next Valintine’s day I’m creating brain and kidney valentines. In the meantime, I’m going to go write some cheese brain and kidney love quotes.
Hey please make videos on pharmacology I am folowing this channel since it has being started u guys are just amazing
Hope no one has to spell purKINje fibers on a test after watching this video. Def not purjinke, as stated and spelled out TWICE in this video
I keep hearing the heart is the size one fist..? Which is true? Or would you say two fists if the pericardium is taken into account?
agree with you, it’s totally based on one’s goal and specially cardio is not a tool for fat loss although you get fat loss by doing cardio as byproduct……………………but i m not agree on your thoughts about running for an army or something like that……………. for those who need to improve their running for any reason, they have to follow a specific program, to run injury free…………………..for example if i want to run 1 mile in 4:30 (as indian army has this criteria ) i have to follow a training program that will necessarily include a base building step called “easy pace running” that will be……………… 60 to 90 mins………………and you have to follow that for few weeks so that you can condition your cadriovaceculler system and strengthen those little leg muscle that is susceptible to damage by high intensity running………………… so main thing is you have to do light intensity cardio……like it or not…………………..you can read about that in “denials running formula” book
best cardio is running outside, taking in fresh air, early morning. One doubt though matt, how come soldiers in the ancient times, could soldiers, unlike those now, didnt have any calorie calculators, didnt go into technicalities, but had in-human stamina and strength?
OK how about after burn effect after hiit session that help more in maintain bf:) plz make video about high intensity trening
my strength training is my cardio besides those random days every month where i just WANT to go for a run or dance in my room! i don’t do it for heart health or weight controlit’s just fun!
Army basic training run is 2 miles in 17:30 to 16:36 depending on age minimum.
Thank you for video
I am from Iraq and have exam tomorrow in the physiological of the heart and this video very helpful thank you so much
I always viewed cardio as a workout for heart and lungs, is this wrong or is there a better way?
what kind of mountain biking you do?
Love your videos! Can you do video on inverted rows and why they’re good for your back muscles? Ty:)
Coach, 300kcal in 1:00 ridding a bike, 1 am 1,78cm 64kg. Can I count it like NEAT? I need to ride a bike or walk at least 1:30/ 2:00 ours days, just for moving my self…
how do you tell the difference between ‘cardio’ and NEAT?
for example, brisk walking… is that cardio or NEAT?
what if I walk briskly for 3-4 hours per day, during work, and outside of work… is that considered cardio?
Does it all depend on the rpe?
im literally a seventh grader and the comment section is debating about the Heart but im here wondering when Im gonna be a doctor
I like your content. And I want to keep watching it, but the music annoys me too much. If you can record it without the music, it would be wonderful. Thank you.
you can see that you lost a lot of weight thru your face!:)
If anyone is interested in human anatomy the best success that I have ever had was by using the Anatomy Blueprint Pro (just google it) without a doubt the most incredible course that I have ever followed.
if he’s talking too fast hit the settings wheel and play back at.5
Just did day 1, took me about 90 min. Will, how long is an average gym session for you? Thank you for this great program.
My work schedule means I only get to the gym on my 4 days off which are in a row? Is it okay to skip the middle rest day?
I love that there’s a random blue angler fish plush on his desk
Would the same calorie ratio work if you’ve been dieting for a long time/ lost a lot of muscle mass and undergone metabolic adaptation? Should I just start eating the correct calories as you laid out or should I work my way up to them? / Will they even be accurate if I have severe metabolic adaptations?
Blood is fluid or liquid known as Plasma?????????????????????
What if your already skinny but want to lose fat to see abs more and gain muscle.

As our heart is situated in left side.

Thanks for the plan, Will! Question where/how does dedicated core work fit into this plan?
So i hit the minimum 10k steps daily very easily, and the 3x a week runs as well. Im 6ft 6in and 235lbs. I’ve been eating at a Calorie Deficit of 1900 per day, i have also been intermittent fasting 16:8 eating my calories from 12pm 8pm. I didn’t know how much i should be eating. My BMR is 2,330.9 kcal/ day. My Total expenditure is between 3800-4000. What are the effects this calorie deficit is having? i’m losing weight, about 15 lbs in a month and a half, but i’m starting the plateau. I’ve been pushing my self with more free weights too. a lot of cardio and then outdoor fitness gyms and perfect push ups. What should i do from here? thanks to anyone who took the time to read this and help me out! I’ve been changing my lifestyle a lot and loving it so far!
the superior vena cava is the top one and the inferior vena cava is the bottom he mixed them up
can not express how much i love this man, like he’s a genuinely nice guy that just wants us to succeed. he gave us a good ass workout routine/nutrition plan & everything. thank you bro, it means the world
This is some of the best fitness and overall life advice I’ve received in a bit. Thanks Will.
hey man thanks to this video, I was able to get back to doing a healthy routine so thank you:) I hope you make a part 2
Any OCD brothers or sisters out there who absolutely cringed when he filled every muffin hole except one?
Hi Will, I saw in another video that you mentioned the ab workout you do (with the sideplank crunches etc), but they are not included in this workout. Do you portion them out whenever you feel like it, or when do you do them?
I really like the stair master, it has me feelin it faster than any other form of cardio
Good video.. U missed one important key about cardio. It’s important you do some sort cardio if you have lung disease like myself it will help greatly along side weight lifting it will get you to the next zone. IF you cardio isn’t great neither will your workout be weather thats lifting weights or running. Good video though I enjoyed it.
Old Will will have Salt & pepper everything truly! *Re-read
This was greatest video of you I’ve watched until now.
Watched about 5 until now and this made me subscribe and click the bell to show all the notifications.
Congratulations. Nice motivation advice at the end.
I LOVE to run!!! But…. I’ve got some back issues so I don’t run as much as I used to but I also LOVE road biking and swimming. Sooo… triathlon for the win!!! 😉
Ok, but that weasel-cat in the beginning as teacher is perfect ugly
You should do a video with just the basic equipment like barbells, dumbells, cable machines and stuff.
Hey Will, how long should a workout go for? And now long should a warm up and cool down go for too? Thanks
“A little bit of garlic powder” literally had to cut the video there cause he sipped for 5 min

some say he’s still doing it till this day
Good video. Just one correction, the correct spelling is PURKINJE fibers, not purjinke fibers. Please correct this in your video.
Thanks for this video man! Lots of interesting and useful information in this. Badically an A to Z walkthrough on how to get fit. Haven’t seen a video with this much information before yet Thanks man! You’ll be the first one to thank after I get rid off 15kg’s
Pulmonary is left sideblood gets oxygenated and enters the left atria.. the right atria is unoxygenated blood coming back from the body.
Basketball is my favorite cardio because I love saucing people up lol
After going vegan, I found out very quickly that calories don’t make you fat. I was consuming anywhere from 2000 to 5000 calories daily and losing tons of weight rapidly with little to no exercise. I was mainly eating rice, bananas, potatoes, pasta and other high calorie fruits. Never felt stronger and more energetic in my life.
Any advice on time between reps? I was chatting with a friend who said any more than 15 seconds between and you’ll see less results. Curious to know what people think.
* 17:41 to the end* THIS! I’m relatively new to your channel but these are the words of a person who has grown and learned so much from life experiences. Thanks for the program and great video, Will:)
great content it would be better without the music tho! thank you!
Hey Will, big fan of the channel. Was hoping to get a bit of advice from you about working out at home. I currently only have one dumbbell (max 17.5kg) in terms of equipment, so have put together a (pretty much) full body workout I can do using only one dumbbell and body weight. I’m currently doing this around 3-4 times per week to make sure I keep a bit of intensity, with different weights for each exercise that feel comfortable in the rep ranges. I’ve posted it below but I know you’re a busy man, so if you don’t have time to go through it then any general advice for someone looking to pack on a bit of muscle with limited resources would be great. However, any more specific advice about an exercise to include/drop from my workout, and how to relieve boredom of repeating the same workout, would be very much appreciated. Cheers from the UK, and keep up the great content!
3 x 10 bicep curls
3 x 10 tricep extensions
3 x 10 shoulder press
3 x 12 dumbbell bent over rows
3 x 10 front raises
3 x 20 air squats
3 x 20-25 press-ups
3 x 15-20 incline press-ups
3 x 25 crunches
3 x 20 leg raises
Cardio: running 5k 2-3 times per week
Fantastic and impressive presentation
Thanks for excellent video
Let’s talk about that salad dressing. What’s “our boy Walden?”
woohhhhhh Loved it.. Please make more such videos, have seen many videos on anatomy yet. Yours are always the BEST..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont think so it can be better than this.
my new favorite person. He gives away training programs, gives eating tips, and he’s hilarious.
When You Searching On Youtube The Heart Part 1 By Kendrick Lamar
So does will do cardio 6 times per week? According to the “What I like to do” for cardio.
How big of an impact can anxiety have on bp? And can anxiety cause pvc’s?
your energy level is like shoo just like bullet shot from the gun
Hi guys, looking for clarity here am I increasing the weight every week? am confused for example with this progression, which has me lifting less every week…
3.) Incline Dumbbell Press
Week 1: 4×12
Week 2: 4×10
Week 3: 4×8
You are genuinely interesting, or should I say genuine and interesting!
If your BMR doesnt match your real life experience with weight loss. DONT lose hope!
I used this formular and GAINED WEIGHT eating 800 Calories below my maintenance according to the BMR. But you can fix it, trust me!
According to the BMR calculator, if i dont do any exercise my maintenance calories is 1935
I do however weight lift 6×45-60minutes a week, aswell as getting 14000(10km) steps in everyday. According to the BMR calculator that would put me at 3337 maintenance calories.
If i eat 3337 calories or even 2500 calories a day, i gain weight (alot of that being fat) pretty fast.
After months of adjusting calories, i figured out eating 2000 calories a day lets me lose fat and gain muscle simultaneously.
If anyone out there decides to change their life for the better, and end up gaining weight following the BMR calculator DONT LOSE HOPE!
Keep SLOWLY adjusting calories and figure out what works for you!
Maintenance calorie is so much more then Height/Weight/Age/Gender. Muscle Mass, genetics and prior caloric intake(Body adjusts slowly but surely) also plays a big part
Very glad I found your channel bro. Could watch you all day!
I think you forgot the link to orange theory in the description.
I have recently found your channel because I have started trying to lose weight and let me just tell you, you are one of the best ones! The way you give advice, literally gave away a whole workout plan, give examples of good food to eat, and so much more! And the videos are also entertaining!I love it man!
My favorite cardio is soccer/football, really need a new hoodie
Your motivation on the last part is really inspiring. Thank you so much for the workout plan!
i run 1 hour at 8 km-h everyday sometimes is hard to keep motivated, you recommend protein shakes?
To all those saying that one more heartbreak can cause their death and it’s proven well y’all better study and check the source. Potangina.

Excellently presented mate I personally go on a daily walk in fresh and listen to a podcast helps with my mind set
5:19 that is false actually the umbilical arteries carry deoxygenated blood as well as the pulmonary arteries and the umbilical veins carry oxygenated blood like the pulmonary veins
17:22 why do you show a clip of leg extensions for the leg press?
Most humble fitness YouTuber I come across. Love the channel so much
I watched many videos about this topic. but this one phenomenal
honest criticism: wouldn’t say all fat people are unhappy (fatphobic). or that vegetables waste space on this earth (ableist). now for the first one, i know a lot of us are fatphobic in practice alone, but for many reasons the ideologies need to be unraveled (mania, eating and self image disorders). coolest of you to say ‘if you classify as neither’ in the beginning. not a lot of mainstream channels do so. the others/exclusion in general could lose you viewership so thought id point it out regardless of snowflakeyness. thanks for sharing your knowledge & esp your recipes, Will… making the shepards pie v soon. best of luck with your channel.
Please ،translate the video into Arabic
I really need translation ❤
Thank you I really need to watch this for my exam tomorrow! Wish me luck ❤︎︎
Crash course,, Wow! As senior clinician i have been really encouraged by your lectures.
I feel know i have to contirbute my fair share to the world of Medical Science. Thus, I have uploaded my first PPT based video.
What happened to the other guy who does crash course he normally does history does he only do history?
Hi! Do you have any advice for PCC certification? I wanna try it myself and don’t know how to focus my training. My training is mostly about pull ups, dips, squats, inverted rows, leg rises and bridges. Thank you and greetings from Czech Rep.!
Favorite cardio: whipping out my THICC…hoodie and getting on the stair master for a good sweat.
I have more talking than that but I don’t want to say anything
Amazzzinggggggg u explain itt soo amaziing & beautiful ❤it helps me alot. Thanks
Im confused about colors in the heart. Red is arteries and blue is veins right? Then why is the pulmonary artery colored blue?
“Begins in the left ventricle when it flexes to increase pressure.”
weird flex, but cool.
Here from my teacher Mrs.Brown hopefully I can learn something
Day 16 of quarantine, it is currently 3 am. I now have to learn off of these videos and I’m half asleep trying to get all my work done and now I actually miss public school.
police:you under arrest
heart:why
police:because you illegal traded carbon dioxide for oxygen
not to sound daft, but how come my veins in my wrists look blue if the blood is actually red??
from a health point of view, I’d argue that some ‘cardio’ aimed at cardiac output is important. My overall health and general fitness has improved dramatically since taking this seriously a few years back. Of course in your particular case, it’s probably covered by the hiking and mountain biking, as such it doesn’t need to be a lot, it can be fun and needn’t be detrimental to other goals.
why does the blood go back to the heart after going to the lungs??? @CrashCourse
0:00 to 0:04 I’m in this video, that lil’heart is me.
0:47 to 0:54 Dirty thoughts 😉
Omg I’m sososoosos confused your vanes take blood you heart is in the center of you chest your blood is always red what
you once said, that pain during workout makes muscles shrink. do you mean pain in general or just pain in bones…? isn`t it neccessary that the muscles hurt?
Where are the calves?:D Regardless, I appreciate all the info you are giving to ppl, you are really a great guy and I feel blessed I´ve found your channel. Keep the good stuff coming:) One question tho, I run 4 day split as well, quite similarly to yours, only difference is that I train whole upper body together, so I would have 2 back, 2 chest, 1 shoulder exercises and 1 exercise for biceps, triceps, shoulders and for lower body I would 2 quad (one training 3), 2 ham 1 glute and 1 calf exercises. Did you run it that way as well and then put shoulders and triceps together with legs, because it was too fatiguing to hit all the muscles of upper body in one day with enough volume? It got me intrigued to see you do it this way, now I am considering to try it as well next meso, so thank you for inspiration:)
I am very late but still very good video dude really got the grasp on things when watched this!
Legendary. I am starting this at my gym today! I was first planning on doing the 5×5 starting strength program (after sitting idle for 16 years and I have no muscle at all anymore), but this makes much more sense. I want to build muscle. Thanks Will!
Damn, I need a break. I’m afraid of blood and I feel dizzy from all those brisk “blood pumps out” explanations
This chanell is a goldmine
Do you have a video talking all about adaptations that acure during a deficit and how to manipulate calories and cardio around them.
And if not, could you make one sometime when you have the time?
But you’re speaking too fast for me and everyone don’t speak English very well
please keep making videos!!! i love your videos, they REALLY do help me understand my studies better. Great work!
At this point I would take a love note with a kidney or spleen on it
Pull ups killed it for me. Any ideas for a substitution exercise?
thank you for this presentation…hoping you will be making more videos about how our body works please.. thanks
My favorite Cardio is chasing a group of teenagers and their dog around an old mansion in a ghost costume
THANK YOU YOU SAVED ME!!!!
soo basic yet very understandable
again thank you!
I’m from the future Dumbstep is dead. Good riddance. If you’re from even further in the future and you have no idea what dubstep is well lucky you. Also let this be a lesson in not going down the Shrek road of referencing current popular culture, it goes out of fashion quick. Classic disney which doesn’t do that is timeless.
very nice! all facts of cardiovascular system have present. Thank you!
Has anyone used the Custokebon Secrets to lost lots of weight? Just do a google search. On there you’ll discover an awesome guidelines about how you can lost tons of fat. Why not give it a chance? perhaps it will work for you too.
Wow, you are such an inspiration, you totally changed my view on things. Thank you for the talk at the end!
John Green is literally teaching the whole world at this point.
I have a question I used to track macros for awhile. i can say i stopped abouut 2 weeks ago bc i got so caught up in the numbers i can say with each macro i was consuming around 1400-1700 a day 1790 at the most also my macros that i consumed ranged but now i cant see what it is on my fitbit now
anywhere from 130-170 carb proteins usually 115-130 and fats are roughly 50-60 grams i am 5’4 144 pounds i have done everything to lose 10-15 pounds for 6 months and n matter what i do with food or workouts i cant lose it. any advice?
THANK YOU! I’m a visual learner and you helped me see what I was trying to learn, but unsuccessful, through my medical books.
Good pronunciation. I listen it without turning on subtitles. Thanks alot!!!!
CV and circulatory system aren’t same system i think. CV is the heart and circulatory is blood. but they correlate.
You have made my chapter
Because of this channel i have been able to learn this chapter in 2 hours only the chapter which i took 4 hours tl study
GR8 video !!!!!
Thanks for covering the whole chapter with great background song, explanation as well as animations
Thanks sir very clearly you have explain the cardio vascular system, one can easily understand thanks and good wishes 25/11/2019

Why do we hav a blue line in our palms? Isn’t that a blood with an oxygent?
Beyond 40 I wouldn’t overlook a regular cardio activity. Too important to keep your vascular system fit. Strokes and heart attacks become a very real threat when getting older. Eat well, do some cardio and, of course, enjoy plenty of strength training if you love it but strength training doesn’t specifically prevent cardiovascular disease.
Kudos to the graphics team of crash course; y’all are legendary!
watch his videos playback.75 if he is talking too fast for you (:
An excellent video, but is not how it is spelled or pronounced. I laughed when you said that.
PURKINJE fibres, NOT purjinke!!!
Who else is here from teachers not wanting to teach during corona, so letting crash course teach us instead?
this is the best video associated with the cardiovascular system, thanks
Good video, but (apart also from some incorrect pronunciations):
ATRIUM = singular
ATRIA = plural
…and PURKINJE fibres, NOT purjinke!!!
Ollie looks like he doesn’t know what’s going on ALL the time
Useful informative video. Only one correction needed, conduction system ends at Purkinje fibers, not Purjinke fibers.
Very good vedio s plzzzz the total body system wise keep in this YouTube plzzzz good job
Favourite cardio: Shadowboxing, surpassing 10k steps by being a student nurse
Thanks it really helps me recall the basic cardiovascular system.
Im doing open hart surgery tomorow… patient thanking you much for video, helping me gratly. Wish me luck
I’d like to explore deeper’ could you nix the annoying music please!
does cardio, though, facilitate improvements in strength training? (meaning, doing both -when there is time/energy etc-)
If this was a Dr Mike video it would be called
Chest compressions chest compressions chest compressions
Does this split heavily tax anybody else’s anterior delts.
I think it’s a new and creative plan, but I don’t understand how my shoulders should be good to train the day after chest/back/biceps.
Especially on the incline press day or any movements that target the clavicular head more than the sternal head, my anterior delts are already lit up.
Also, Will says he has had some shoulder issues in the past and I’m curious to why he decides to put extra strain on his anterior delts like so.
this was very helpful, Im a massage therapy student and I was lost in class when my teacher explained this thank you
Thank you for that brush up. I am applying to Nursing School now and just wanted a refresher. Ive already started watching the rest of ur videos. Thank you so much cause they really do HELP!!
Yes, I too am guilty of jumping through diet plan to others as well, I do believe that I need to have tried every single fat reduction system that was available, however eventually not one of them made it easier for me to reduce and maintain the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time using the Custokebon Secrets mainly because my mate who told me extraordinary things about it and so far to date I have successfully lost 19 lbs in 4 weeks!
Yo will! You say leg press in the program but do a leg extension in the video, which one is it legend?
This is a fantastically informative and relevant video great graphics. Thanks!!
I love your videos! I’ve learnt a lot from them, I just wish you would slow them down a bit. You talk very fast =]

Am I like a gaint city? Thanks God living in me and allow me to live with you. Your work is Despicable.
I could watch you all day! Awesome content. Awesome personality. Awesome Youtuber. Thank you for making highly entertaining informative content!
Just an all-around bad video; amateurish visuals with a lack of good narrative.
