This was I think the 2nd class I did at home, just after the lockdown started here. I remember loving it but also finding it sooo challenging. I came back to it today, 3 months later, and can’t believe how much I’ve progressed! Of course it was still challenging, but I was able to do it all without yelping this time! And I could really feel how much my technique has improved. Thanks and much love to you for providing such wonderful classes and inspiration.

Excellent break from high intensity cardio workouts, yet at the same time I didn’t feel like I compromised on the efficiency of the workout still gave a good controlled challenge.
What a well directed advanced pilates full body session. I LOVED IT. I did have to modify due to a shoulder injury but am planning to do this one at least 3 times a week. Thank you Lauren! GREAT JOB to your student! AMAZING job!
Great class and I liked that this was classic pilates. There are some places in the video where the audio is garbled (or she didn’t articulate or speak loudly enough). I will definitely take this class again.

The first core exercise (minute 50) is not very safe unless you have already built a strong core and it is unsafe if you have bulged disc. Not very effective, there are much better and safe exercise (science and physiotherapists say that). Also the one at 2:40, very dangerous unless you have a healthy lower back and an already strong core.To be honest all of these exercese are unsafe unless you are already strong.
Another great workout. I combined this with your intermediate class for a longer session. Could you do a 30 minute intermediate and/or advance routine?

My partner and I have just done this class and we loved it as with all your other classes but we were wondering if you could please do a super advanced one hour Pilates mat class? This one felt like it just had a little too much rest between sets compared to your other shorter more intense classes.

This is by far the best classical mat class i have ever been in, both in person and on YouTube! It’s so wonderfully sequenced, the cues are on point, the duration of holds are challenging enough, and the stretching sequences are so well placed that instead of feeling drained after an intermediate/advanced Pilates on the reformer or chair, I felt like I just went to the spa and had a wonderful massage after the workout. Definitely saving this and I plan on doing this everyday, please don’t ever take it off your channel! And thank you for sharing your beautiful practice, love all the way from the Philippines

I love this workout and Lindsay’s instruction! Her cuing, pace, and presence are fantastic. I love the more advanced level. Even though I can’t yet do all of the exercises, I need the push, and these workouts feel very safe. She understands body alignment and engagement of the muscles and I feel I am being guided by an expert (plus I have a lot of experience and know when to modify). Again, love this! What a gift. Dear Desiree, you are the best thing that happened to me during confinement <3 I'm an opera singer and I already did pilates. But after the lockdown, I searched for something online and I found you! I would have never believed that in only two months, my body would have changed for the better this much! It now has this true hourglass figure, my muscles are leaner and stronger, I am much more flexible and my abs are toned and absolutely stronger. Consequently, my voice has grown audibly bigger! By the way, I love your singing, sing more!:) It's the correct combinations and variations that are most effective and help you get faster results. This is your difference from all the other pilates classes I've followed both online and offline. And considering I'm far from being as young as you are, all this is a kind of miracle. Thank you sooooo much!

I really appreciated the setup into poses, to minimize injury, especially with the mini back-bend one. I feel like I was always crunching my back before you broke it down! I also like how you do stretching in between, to keep the muscles elongated. Would love to see more full length class videos like this! You have a great balance between building strength while keeping that ballerina-esque posture and frame.

I lost about30 pounds by doingnpilaties. Inam 11 and I used to weigh 110 pounds but then I didnpilaties and now I’m about 80 pounds. It sounds crazy but I’m a polities expert and pit of all the pilatkes videos I’ve watched this one was the best. If you guys are trying to loose weight pilaties is the best and this video was one of the best ways to loose weight. If you haven’t already try Hts its very helpful

You know pilates is not about how fast you do it. Stretching is important, and advanced definitely doesn’t mean as fast as you can. Otherwise the exercises are good.

Not a whole lot. Pilates does burn calories, but it’s mostly low impact so it’s not much to get your heart rate up. If you are looking to burn calories, you should do mainly cardio and aerobic exercises.

This is a great and quick classical pilates workout. I wish some of the leg circles were longer, but understand you wanted to keep it under 15 minutes. Going into my regular routine – thank you.
I love your energy and your beautiful physics You’re so elegant in your moves I try to do that but I’m new to Pilates I try to do it when I’m sore of working out as a recovery workout, it seems it’s very hard in some moves.
