there are so many complaints about meat eaters bullying vegans in the comment section… i cant find any
tasty needs to have another channel for vegetarians only. I litterally cant afford to watch the whole video and at the end find out that there was freaking either chicken or eggs in almost all recipes.

Another great video! The triple chocolate protein cookies have become a staple for me… and at least one cheesecake per week as well. Best value protein in my area is probably chicken breasts. Buy in bulk, vacuum seal and freeze. I use them mostly to make chicken chili.
Some time age my friends advertised to me how wonderful vegan cooking is and there are ‘hundereds’ of recepies on yt to check.
So i am trying it. However, i encountered some very, VERY frustrating shit.
See, most of recepies have either tofu or beans. I hate tofu, my wife hate beans. If you subtract any recepies with either tofu or beans… these advertised ‘hundreds’ turn to shy handful.
Next isue, there is like few dozen videos about vegetarian dinners on yt but most of them repeat from each other. And each and every fucking of these video shows me stir fry or broccoli tofu. And every thing that tries to pretend to be ‘meat’ use beans
I’m done with this shit.
Anybody can give me some advice with what i can replace beans or tofu?

I am a hunter/fisherman, so obviously i eat meat. But i only eat what meat i myself or my family have harvested. So if a hunt or fishing trip is unsuccessful then too bad, no meat for dinner. Out of curiosity I’ve tried alot of vegitarian or vegan dishes in the last year and most of them are absolutely fantastic. Except tofu, i just dont like the texture.

Just got back from NYC and a black and white protein cookie recipe would be the bomb.
One cup of this, one cup of that. And what to do with the many leftover ingredients? That’s no way to cook. I need recipes where I can use full cans and then have the rest of the ingredients balanced with that. Fine with me if that is then for 6 or 8 persons. Some of us will eat it twice then. Since tofu just tastes like plastic, I’m not too impressed here.

I like turkey burgers more than veggie (well never had veggie) but looking at macros and protein. The butterball ones I think are 8.99 per 6 but at Publix we can get BOGO so 12 for 8.99. I think it’s 240 cal for 31g protein and they have flavors too. Soo good.

Tempeh is great uncooked. Has a ton of probiotics like Greek yogurt. However it is tasty cooked in some sesame oil and topped with a bit of soy sauce.
Don’t know if it’s available where you are but if you like Greek yogurt that I definitely recommend trying Skyr which is an Icelandic yogurt

I see people mention greek yogurt since forever, but where I live all they sell in all stores are the ones with like 19g of fat. There are 10 or more different brands, god knows how many flavours, including plain, and they are all full of fat. There is “skyr”, the Icelandic yogurt, that has the macro split as the greek everyone mentiones.

I know this is kind of a troll video with the amaranthe and edamame crap, but for those unaware, note that once you look at the bioavailability and amino content of these fake protein sources like grains/veggies, you’ll see that it’s cheaper just buying real meat. You won’t turn into a soy boy eating crap like veggie burgers once in awhile, but you will be wasting your money when a real burger is cheaper and is a much better protein source.

Guys! I made the vegan chili last night and it’s absolutely BOMB! I haven’t had chili in years since becoming vegan and it is SO good! I recommend cooking it in a crock pot over night or through out the day so the veggies become very soft and soak up the deliciousness. that’s what I did and it’s to die for!
I consider myself a meat eater although I haven’t partook in a while. Having alternatives like this rather than eating meat every day is not only sensible but for some it could extend your life warding off unnecessary and avoidable illnesses. It’s funny how there’s no medical data showing how eating too many vegetables can have a negative impact on your health. The same cannot be said for the latter. Something to think about.

Or, if you want to make Italian sausage, that’s 1 lb ground pork with 1 Tbsp fennel, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp red pepper flakes, and 1 tsp granulated garlic.

The point of this video is to highlight the benefit of homemade foods for cheat days as opposed to fast food because you have control of all the ingredients whereas fast food is full of literal trash. A burger made at home is a billion times healthier than one made in McDonald’s. Honestly eating homemade food prevents not only serious health issues but also the waste of money and materials like plastic from packaging.

I used to be vegetarian but I was lazy and didn’t find the right meals for protein. I eat meat now, but it’s only chicken and seafood. I don’t plan to ever go back to beef, pork, etc. though, they grossed me out 100x more than chicken lol. But I still prefer vegetarian meals when I have the option, so I’ll try these:)

Don’t forget about Seitan is not a complete protein but has 8 out of the 9 essential amino acids required to be considered a complete source of protein. None the less 3oz is around 20 grams of protein and is made from vwg.
