I must say Travis that this was a very well structured Yoga + Meditation Retreat. Honestly, after Day 1 I almost gave up, it was so strenous and my body was in pain. However, your words motivated me and I was determined not to give up. I could not do Day 7 y/day on account of Easter however I completed it today. Dear Travis, this was absolutely wonderful. I particularly liked singing the mantra with you all. I was in India for the first time a few months ago, in the whole town of Pushkar, where I had the honour of studying Vinyasa Krama yoga in a holy temple, it was a profound experience. The tadasana sequence reminded me of the ancient yoga we were doing there. And when we got to chant together it was like being back at the temple. I didn’t expect that today during this session but it was a pleasant surprise so thank you for bringing this authenticity and this ancient wisdom in such a clear way to us all over the world with these videos. I’m absolutely signing up for the 108 day program as I feel your teaching style really speaks to me and I’m being pushed physically and just one week in a feel stronger and healthier in my body. I’ve also suffered from a hip injury for over 10 years and even though it’s not completely gone I feel that it’s massively improved thanks to this strong practice. Worst class ever. I was just waiting that you would say forward bend, lift your leg. The class is for granpas not for young bloods. Made me totally lazy. The last part made me funny. Infusing hinduism to christians.

Thank you Travis. You are really soo gifted to teach all the different areas of yoga. According to my perception, you are ESPECIALLY gifted to guide meditations. After you open your mouth, literally, within 10-15 seconds, I can find myself in this amazing sweet spot sphere on a regular basis. The composition of your energy, voice, the well chosen music and the space you create is simply fabulous and so super helpful for me when I can’t get there by myself.
Regarding the power yoga challenge, I followed my intuition and paused 1-3 days in between, doing gentle yoga and other exercises instead. Otherwise it would have been too much for me personally. I really enjoy(ed) the experience of witnessing a decrease in the intensity of muscle ache and grandma feeling after each additional session. Most amazing, I love the addiction effect and observing my body with joyful anticipation craving for the next dose after a few days. I definitely will continue and start the week again from the beginning.
Another aspect I would love to pronounce my appreciation for is your creativity and different variations you offer in the poses. I found myself staying even more present when not knowing what to expect next. On the other hand, repetition enhances precisions and you offer that as well. Travis just a huge thank you for this incredible week of retreat!!!! After Day 1 I almost gave up as it was one of my first full yoga classes ever, and I was so tired….!But I’ve hear on of your talks on Instagram when you said that “the day you fell less motivated to go to your matt is the day you need it the most…” So I did! And from there I couldn’t wait for the next day to start with your class! Thank you so much for your generosity!!!! Now I’m wondering how to continue, we can’t stop this now!!!! ♀️ Happy Easter!!
Desde el 2016 sigo a Travis. No hablo inglés pero sucede que le entiendo. Ahora curso casi el cuarto mes después de una cesárea y me aventé a hacer las siete rutinas. Me han encantado. Aún no tengo fuerza en mi abdomen por eso no hago las abdominales pero sí hago las planchas y todo lo demás. No he podido hacer las meditaciones porque tengo que estar con mi bebé. Me ha encantado la fuerza que he adquirido esta semana pero Me gustaría que hubiera una rutina para personas que como yo necesitamos ejercicios hipopresivos. Gracias Travis ha sido un regalo hermoso estas siete rutinas un abrazo fuerte ❤️

This journey was probably the BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE!! I finished day 7 a little while ago. All kinds of emotions came out! Especially during singing. THANK YOU SO MUCH TRAVIS!!! My heart ❤️ is FULL!! Might do it again!!

Travis, Thank you so much for blessing all of us with this 7 day retreat. I would get up at 5 or 5:30 in the morning just to have time to enjoy moving and meditating with you. The longer practices have been so good for me mentally and physically. During this time of extra stress and uncertantity, healthy time on my mat is keeping me grounded. I look forward to continuing practicing with you digitally. Looking forward to a live retreat some day.

Thanks Anat! The Sutras give food for the analytical mind and allow us to redirect of awareness towards ourselves, modern day living can be a big distraction by draining life force that was always meant for our personal journeys. I hadn’t thought of the simultaneous concept and really grateful for this insight. Namaste
