Does anyone else make the kissing noise when they bring their knee to their elbow? Asking for a friend. Thanks Adriene!
I’m 82 and just watched your video and did the exercises along with you! I feel so good! I will be doing them everyday from now on!!! Thank you so much!!!
I know this is 4 years old and sorry If I’m asking silly questions. I’ve heard to do squats and not really sure what they do? Round booty, core strength etc? Thanks for any help!!
I know I did this to lose weight, but my back was a hurting for a while. I did this and it doesn’t hurt anymore . I only did half but that’s not the point
Did this exercise for the first time and I can’t believe how much my stomach can feel the work out. You’re not in any pain, but I can’t seem to stop the posture yeah.
Hi mike thank you so much for your excises videos they are giving me great relief I get lower back pain I’ve had for years I do all your excise for the back I’m 75 from Ireland
im worried about posture when doing crunches, like my shoulders & neck. im kinda slouchy do i just ignore it and keep doing them or?
That was maybe a little beginner than I was looking for, but I still enjoyed it. http://www.amazon.com/Careful-what-you-Wish-For-ebook/dp/B00RFWM37O
Nice one. Thank you for sharing.. I’m here sending my support. I hope you will visit me too
How old are you boy telling us seniors how to warm up our old bods
This sequence serves as a reminder to me to listen to my body and to be forgiving towards it. I came to this video a week ago with good intentions; unfortunately I’d just started my period and while I wasn’t in any pain, I was just extremely fatigued. I didn’t make it past the first down dog that day, and ended up spending nearly an hour just laying on my mat and feeling frustrated with my body’s inability to do what I wanted it to. Today I came back to this video and was able to complete the entire thing, even feeling confident enough to attempt the crow at the end! I’m reminded now that my body and my abilities change day to day, and it’s okay to listen to what my body needs. When I first tried this one last week, I wasn’t listening to my body; I needed to be gentler to myself and not push myself too hard, but I ignored the signs, tried this more challenging practice, and I failed! Now that I’ve seen myself succeed at it, I’m reminded it’s okay to go easy on myself sometimes, and that needing to be gentle doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with me. Every day is different, and that’s okay.
I have thought about just making a video of a regular person exercising for years! There is no motivation when you’re watching people work out who don’t seem to need the exercise. Thank you for helping us all <3
I like these exercises. Short. Simple. Effective. Thanks, Mike
Starting July 19, 2020 Starting weight: 150 lbs.

I’m so flippin happy that I stumbled upon this beauty of a page! Thank you so much girly.
Another great workout today.. Kit you are amazing.. thank-you for giving up your time and expertise..
Love from India..
I did crow pose for 2 seconds today and I think I shocked myself so much that I fell out of it but I broke down in tears right after. I didn’t know I needed a win this badly. Thank you so much for always being a shining positive light.
Nice info for beginners: cheers for sharing the edifying information!
Thank you for putting out this video. It was something I needed to hear.
Notice most of these comments are old but thought I add one anyway. I recently had two major surgeries and now have to start all over on my core. Come to find out through this video I’ve never been doing these core exercises right all along. Many, many thanks:)
….are YOU a JEDI?!?!?!?! lol (with the fire from finge…. yeah. This is me b4 coffee)
Thank Thank you so so much for your remakable encouraging videos.i look forward to doing the exercises every day.also thank for taking the time out and replying to my comment, you are a true gentleman.stay safe from Irelan
Namaste. Doing a little stress eating during these times and was told today that I’m gaining a belly! Good timing on today’s practice!
I was looking for exactly this, love your humor and videos, thank you so much:)
Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad no one in the world can do this
Night1:Not so bad. My thighs are burning but that means it working. I’ll update every night after I do this.
Excellent! Tried it today and will do it and others in this series. I’m 72 and the gym is closed, so the body said get a work out. This just filled the bill.
You are awesome, thank you. I’m not plus size but I have always struggled with exercises like planks and mountain climbers due to too much strain on my shoulders and wrists. Your modifications are perfect! Xo
Love your videos but definitely couldn’t find a flow with this one. Tried to follow my breath but found myself trying to listen to all your different variations and instructions. Not my favourite video but love that you’re sharing such positive videos!!
I have tried to lose weight so many times and eventually I just gave up. But, now I’m unhealthy. I’m all for body positivity but at the moment, I’m the biggest I’ve ever been and I’m physically tired. It’s time to fix that:)
Thank you thank you thank you! I wondered if there was something wrong with me! I carry most of my weight in the middle due to PCOS and so squats are extremely hard on my back. I kept having poor form and couldn’t balance and being 250 pounds and having a spinal injury does not help! With these modifications, i think you’ve made it possible for me to get strong and take care of my baby girl, home and hubby. Thank you so much! This is amazing. You just don’t know what it means!
Great advice…getting rid of the weight between our ears!!!
I would love to see a Full Figure Woman running a class. I would love to learn how to do that so maybe I can start out a class. I don’t like skinny instructors telling me how to move and what to move yes we re all women but we are all built different.
Thank you. Your video really motivated me.
I have avoided workouts for a long time because I am so afraid of injury.
I have suffered back & lower back pain. When they refer me to physio, they said it is because I am overweight. They also said that my muscles are stiff because I don’t exercise ( practise a sedentary lifestyle). After they healed me with warm treatment, they make me go through a rigorous program that causes muscle sores for days that interrupts with daily life. I ended up running away from the program.
I’ll check out your videos, hopefully it will help me, with my stiffness and joint pains, especially now that my body showed insulin resistance (risk of type 2 diabetes.)
thank god for you! tried following other vids but Jesus I feel i am doing it totally wrong because of my flexibility or my size
I’m at work on the verge of tears after a trip to the breakroom and a good hard look at myself. I get so discouraged because I can’t keep up with hardly any exercises. Thank you so much for these videos.
I was doing squats. And i decided to not look at my phone (checking the timer makes it feel longer) after about… 20? Of them i decided it was taking to long and snuck a peek….
there was an ad playing
And no i didnt hear it cuz i put the phone volume on low.
I pity the ppl who went through that during plank ups.
Thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for to get started.:)
I’ve always had a weak core, and it was getting a little difficult for me at the end, but I stuck with it all the way through. I couldn’t do the Crow Pose, though…not yet, anyway. I didn’t sweat, but I do feel a bit, I don’t know, shaken, for a lack of a better term. I feel like I flushed something out of my body, but I don’t know what. I just drank a whole bottle of water, thinking maybe a little dehydration was the problem, but I don’t think it was. I mean, I’m okay, I just feel different. Flustered.
Absolutny don’t do this, it’s going to be so hard to fall asleeo
writing this comments 13.06 anyway
start: 14.06.2020 end: 14.07.2020 (of course i’m going do that after 14th July and i can update still)
day 1 (14.06.2020):
It’s not even half of the video but i am already dying and stop the work out
Any way Iam starting this exercise today with a weight of 89kg. I will updates after one month
Some of the best yoga ever with Shawn corn she’s so spiritual and so healthy you can learn a lot
Amazing video for day 18, and although challenging, it was extremely enjoyable!
Something told me to plan today as a rest day, well after that beneficial and sensational video, i feel ready to relax and harmonise myself with thw world!
Thank you yet again Adriene!
Great ideas for seniors in chair! And, he just makes you want to talk in an Australian accent:).
At what time we should do this exercise,, after food,,, that is how many hours there should be gap after food,, please reply
Didn’t think I had enough time to do this practice today, but so glad I did it. Tough one for sure with a bit of kick and fire, but such a good and needed one. Thanks:)
I bought t25 but I can’t afford the drinks shakeology and can you be my coach or do i need to buy from you.
Should we work on our core daily or less frequently? Thanks so much!
cant sleep go walk or watch something funny. I try this when everyone gone to the sections, my day is be so busy. My time starts 3 am in the morning that when I will start.
Thankyou Sean, I have had numerous back injuries and I have both types of arthritis, your beginner workouts have increased mobility for me. I am thrilled, life goes on with reduced pain as well. God Bless, keep it up.:)
What kind of plan you do when working out i am a bbw 5″4 334 lb and i like tone up and frim up my body to be healthy. And to make my work easier i am home health aid i work 7 day week and i am always tired so i going to join a gym as my frist step
Wow! Just went through a number of your videos and I am so impressed! As others said, I’d get so frustrated at not being able to do exercises that in shape or normal weight people can do… and have trainers tell me I’m not ‘trying hard enough’. At 63, out of shape and overweight from my late teens, and now with problems related to pinched nerves in my lower back (although I’m told I have the spine of a 40 yr old whatever the heck that means) and bad knees which prevent floor exercises, your videos are a god send! Thank you. Thank you!
Anyone else getting frustrated for not being able to do crow pose? =( I’ve tried so many times already
this is awesome and you are awesome! I am training a 500 lb person and getting her to do squats is a huge challenge. seeing this video helped me to help her. these modified versions you have are incredible! thank you and keep doing what you’re doing!
Just found you today and i’m getting ready i don’t know what i did to my knee but it hurts and I’m doing the Squat Challenge with JJ Smith
I set the intention that I am strong and I will smile through every Vinyasa and plank. Totally makes the difference and changes the feeling of the shakes ❤️ And today, after many months of trying to do a yogic squat I finally did it!! The smile on my face was absolutely ridiculous! Thank you Adriene ❤️
Thankfully someone who knows what they’re talking about!
Thanks mam.. u taught so many modifications for people like us who are obese.. im came across ur chanel and im loving ur chanel. love from india.. take care
Always enjoy these videos, good work out, good sense of humour and no bull.
Thank you for a forkful break from my work week. I so appreciate it
Must have slept weird on my right shoulder, it’s too tight for normal stuff today like anything overhead. I was gentle with it today which took a lot of patience
Thank you for the lesson. Namaste
on my journey to wellness… where do i begin? yes i have a goal to shed 80lbs but not having a schedule of workouts ( im more spontaneous) how do i start off say like stretches, then progressing..want to get into yoga too..nthank you so much!
You are such an inspiration to me!
i am by far not an overweight person, but i have a belly that gets in the way and i have limited mobility when it comes to Yoga, bit then i discovered your videos and BAM!
You have given me a reason to do yoga again. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
You should practice with Unflexal. Google this or just go to Unflexal website:D
These exercises are just great. They are so precise and it shows the difference when one is taught by a true professional. I now do a mix of them as each one has a different focus.
Just want to thank you so much for your videos you have inspired me to get my workout on & be fit in my own way for my size
I am starting from today! I will update you guys time to time.
i did your 2nd video in the playlist first because I’ve learnt that words such as”core” and “abs” often mean I’m about to get my ass kicked but this was genuinely beginner friendly. I found your channel after having done the 30 days of yoga with adrienne so I think I’ll try your 30 days and continue to dabble in videos from both channels on days I feel fresher or amn’t doing much more activity. Thanks so much for this wondeful resource!
The only reason im doing bed time exercises is because i don’t wannna go to bed all sweaty
I’m in the process of losing weight which is going not to bad… but want to tone up my belly fat I’m 66 like to walk still swim and scuba dive cycle ride… but now it’s come to a full stop due to corona (and I don’t mean the drink) any advice would be appreciated
Thank you so much! You’re really good at teaching HOW to do the workout. Really helped me(:
I’m 18 and I’m 246 pounds and for awhile I’ve been discouraged to go out get fit because I feel ashamed when I hear people who are not my size or my weight tell me how I should exercise and that it’s easy to lose weight. I give up really easy when I get do something right and I feel like this is how it will always be but recently after taking a self change psychology class at my college my mind set has changed a bit and after watching your video I feel more relieved that I’m not the only one who’s struggling thank you I am looking forward to finding workout on your page to help me on my weight loss journey
It’s still astonish me just how some people do not know about Custokebon Secrets even though many people using it. Thanks to my personal pal who told me about it. I have lost tons of weight.
Yikes that was a workout for this gal thank you I made it thru
So vibrant and informative..thank you Mr Vogue! love from Jamaica….
I just found you yesterday. You were mentioned in a SparkPeopledotcom discussion forum. You seriously rock! You made me an instant fan of yours because of your knowledge and your attitude.
i am so happy i found you on you tube you have given me the inspiration to know i CAN lose my weight!! <3 u
I forced myself to squeeze in the time for yoga amongst my engineering studies and, although I am a mentally-fried shell of a person until graduation, I do feel more at peace. This video has also worked my mind and body in ways running just cannot
I just found you on the net and I am loving it! So much fun and I don’t feel so stupid since i’m laughing at your quips.:) Thanks for making something so necessary fun for me.
thank goodness for this channel!!! feels so good to have someone who gets it and helps people like me get in shape. sometimes it feels like even the gym is fighting against me. thank you so much for sharing your journey and motivation
this one is an oldie. one of the first practices I did a long time ago on this channel. I dropped off for some time to come back this year. This one really put a smile on my face, because apparently I still knew the practice by heart
Thank you very much for these exercises. So looking forward to doing them each day.
Hi Tulin can you please do a burpy in a modification way please
Thank you! All of the “do squats right!” videos just assume that your weight is centered, every time I try to do a squat “properly” I fall over backwards. Good to know that working with a chair is a proper modification.
I just found you this week. Thank you so much. My biggest enemy is myself. I’ve been a perfectionist and ended up injuring myself. I love your modifications along with your encouragement, I believe in myself this time.
I have now been doing YWA every day for a whole month and I can’t believe how strong and good I am feeling.. these are hard times dealing with COVID-19.. but I truly feel like this has been a blessing that has come out of it for me mentally and physically.. thank you. Love and light to all xx
Thank you! Thank you! My belly definitely is a hindrance but I continue anyway.
Tulin can you put a video together for straching, I tried with the PBS lady and it was to hard.
Everything was working fine until the push ups made their way in
Hello, goodevening. Thanks for the wonderful video. How many sets and reptitions for each exercises?
These are wonderful! I am on the borderline of plus size and just had knee surgery. The Dr had cleared me to do some foam rolling and some yoga style exercises. Some of the foam rolling involves being on the floor and using one’s arms to lift the body back and forth across the roller ( like to roll bottoms and sides of legs). My arms and legs are still too weak for this, I am not sure they were strong enough even before the surgery, can you please figure out and show some modifications for foam rolling please?
fell 8 weeks ago trying to move a 75 lb box into my garage, cardboard tore and I went down on my butt. Broke several bones in my pelvis and tore both hamstrings. Tests now show that bones are almost completely healed but I’m still forced to use a walker, my balance is great thank God, but having a lot of fear trying to transition to cane. I’ve worked out my whole life and my legs are strong so I’m sure I’ll be able to ditch the walker and eventually the cane, but left leg is slightly weaker this is the side I fell on,. need exercises to help build my confidence letting go to and walking, any suggestions? I’m 80 this month.
what do u suggest if you have sciatic nerve damage an arthritis in ur back
Bilateral hip replacement surgery his has helped me so much. Thank you thank you
Thanks for your videos. Every workout videos are too intense for me beginning on my weight loss/ strength workout routine. These seems a little more realistic and i still feel the burn. I’ll get there. Thanks
Day 19 of NURTURE, our calendar gives me some structure to my week as every day seems the same! This practice was a full body workout for this senior yogi. I vaguely remember this practice from some time ago but it felt like an adventure again and fun to follow through. I had to really breathe deep through some parts and there was a little trembling but I met my edge. It was good. Very good for my arm strengthening and the cool down was very welcome. That will do well for today. See you tomorrow on the mat ♀️♀️
Sitting at my desk and decided I needed my core strengthened. I’m saving this video
I started today and I am going to keep you all updated on how I am going. Today not bad but no difference ( Sunday )
Absolutely love it thank you so much for sharing. God bless you too:)
like you’re balancing a cup of coffee or tea or… FRESCA (how bout a Fresca) BEST FITNESS ADVICE EVER
you could hold this for a few seconds or a few days… lol so funny:)
This is incredible. As someone who hasn’t done too much in terms of exercise ever, I feel this pushed me a bit, but not past my limits and I feel it’s something I can maintain and do regularly. Thank you!
Day 18 of Nurture! I love when there are long practices on the calendar. Have a great day!
Hi from Costa Rica! Super sore arms after yesterday’s workout and I can feel my abs already sore from this class! Thank you so much for doing this!
This is great information. You are awesome! This is not only helpful for those struggling with weight challenges and recuperating from knee surgeries, but it is also GREAT for those who are traditional “exercise” challenged! I get adequate numbers of steps in, but anything else is a bust. This is great for the first leg of my journey… Thanks much for getting me back in the game!
I would really like to thank you for putting these beginner video’s on your channel. You have helped me so much!Keep them coming.
I loved this thank you! I’m just starting to work on my core and this was exactly what I needed.
Now can we do exercises you can do in bed maybe like lifting your leg up and then exercise your eyes by blinking and then blinking slower and slower and slower and slower and slower and slower and slower and slower and slower and
who has energy to run before bed
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this. I can’t tell you how this speaks to me. I have needed exactly this and I am so excited to have found you. Just beginning my fitness journey (again) after being frustrated with plus size body. I have found great clothes, but couldn’t find a fitness routine I could do and was comfortable with. I know I will keep on this journey to better health with this motivation. thanks again. (Found you thru Cori Spieker at Camp Reset) <3
My thighs said adios after doing all these for the first time
The ease is coming even when I’m pushing through. I’ve done this video a couple times before, and this was the first time I really felt like I did it all and was ready for more at the end
I liked this workout. I am considered morbidly obese. I am 5’11” and 234 lbs. I also have a large bone structure. I have been having serious back problems that the Dr’s can not find a reason for. This exercise seems to help both in losing weight and also alleviating my back pain. There are not too many beginner core exercise videos out there that actually work. I want to thank you for this video and hope that one day I will be able to move on to some of your more intense workouts.
That felt incredible, this has been the longest I’ve done yoga in one sitting and yet it felt like 10mins
Thanks Kit!!! This was an amazing workout. Just what I needed to get back to a sane mind and positive energy on this gray and rainy day! I’ve shared them with friends and they are loving it too!
for the things at the beginning, if you have a deep sway in your lower spine, how would you modify it? Could you put a support like a rolled towel or something to level out with ground?
The excerise is very good video I love the video I rate it above standard a A+ for helping your body during the corona virus pandemic. Many thanks for sharing. Hand washing, Social distancing is very important. Be safe and Be well to all.I loved excerise.
so Happy I stumbled upon your channel thank you so much
Hi Tulin thank you for the great videos I am nearly 60 I am approx 270lbs have a bad lower back and 2 bad knees I really hope your tips help me
Joey this is super helpful thanks for sharing your expertise and warmth with us.
A great starting vid, my core is weak as piss:) I’ll be using this regularly thank you:)
My husband and I are doing your exercises every day now we are 87 & 83 and feel so much stronger
wow!thank so much Kit,for this work out i never expected to be sweaty like that…whoosh! God bless and more of this kind of work out..from the Philippines!
Just found you now. I hope you don’t mind answering lots of questions!
My first one is, while I’m doing these (and yes, I’m using a TALL chair), how much should the front of my legs burn before I need to stop?
Thank you. Very easy to follow, nice short exercises with the benefit of feeling very good afterwards. I’m happy to continue these daily. Will you be providing extra exercises as we become used to these? I’m sure you are very busy trying to please everyone. Very thankful for the contact and the support you are providing. Once this is all over, I’m sure I will continue to follow you and your exercises for the seniors and thank you for using that much better term than ‘the elderly’ which should go in the bin with the Coronavirus!
I haven’t exercised for many many years. Now trying to improve my health and knee arthritis. I do the warm up, the daily stretches, the leg-strengthening exercises, followed by a few minutes of low impact dancing. I see a gradual improvement. Can the leg strengthening exercises be done every day, or should I alternate with some others?
How many reps do you do and how many different ones do you start off with Coachtulin
Perfect looking for a core exercise for beginners without going out just at my home:)
I love stomach workout in this video Adrienne. It makes me feel strong. Thanks love.
Nah thanks ain’t gonna hurt my body bcz I’ve explained the worse of it. So not again✋
Sean, you are adorable! all your little joke comments throughout the workout make me giggle and feel like I’m not working out at all! esp liked the one about “the dogs rolling in filth!” Thank you for your basic routines! I’m loving the positive reinforcement!
Awesome video.this 4 year old video got u a new subscriber 😉 and im gonna do it tomorrow morning.
Thanks for this video Sean. Love your sense of humor. If I wanted to move one small step up from this core workout, which of your numerous videos would you recommend I watch next?
I wonder how many calories this burns I’ve been exercising and lowing my calorie intake, so adding this will hopefully help a lil bit more
Came back to this practice today and what a difference from the first time I did it before I had a regular yoga practice. It still challenged me but this time it was done with control and more ease of movement. Thank you
Tuning in each morning during the crisis simple but very effective….thank you! As Kathleen mentioned below more breathing instructions throughout would be helpful
Thank you for posting these videos! I usually just quit or not participate in the exercise but with the modification I can build my core strength and keep the passion I have to lose weight!
Thank you. I get so frustrated when someone who is skinny tells me how I should exercise because they just don’t get that I have body parts that get in the way that prevent me from being able to do certain things and that heavy legs or a stomach adds a lot of resistance making the exercise even harder. So many instructors have never had to deal with that, so they don’t know how to modify for someone heavy.
What muscles are the “good mornings” working? I have been doing your exercises since the lockdown started and feel so much better. Thanks Mike.
I like how he said that’s what she said I had to rewind to make sure I heard that right
You just got a new subscriber!:)
Thanks man, love the vid:)
I have a reoccurring rotator cuff problem should I be doing the plank or will I just hurt my shoulder again? Or should I just stay away from that particular exercise.
Hy Sean, good workout =) Look, while doing the first exercises I had a hell pain on my neck, any tips? Thanks:)
Absolutely awesome thank you darling Adriene for this fab Saturday morning session ♀️ loved it. This class was part of the 30 days of April I’m following, what a wonderful balance to the rest of the week. I don’t know how you do it but, each day seems to always tie in with what is needed that day, we are truly blessed to be part of the FWFG community
What do you think about strength training for women who want to loose 45lbs?
Hey @SeanVigueFitness, i have been doing this workout a while now and i have a few questions if that’s ok.
1. Should all these exercises be done with control? And by this, what i mean is, i am used to the “move fast and hard on the muscle contraction, and slow when relaxing the muscle” (the way you would approach weight lifting). Should these exercises and any core exercises be done slowly, with full control, and not using any momentum, throughout the movement? And use the same time on the contraction and relaxation (the up/down).
2. I noticed i have been doing the inhale/exhale the opposite to you. Take the last two exercises, i was of the assumption that on the push (or pull/lift) of an exercise you shoul always exhale, and inhale on the descent/relaxation of the muscle. Is the reason that you do it the opposite way around tied into to my first question of control?
3. I have been doing this workout for a few months now, but as you can see from above questions, i may have been making some mistakes, so:
i. Do i have to perfect the mistakes, perfect the movement, before i can move on to something more advanced?
ii. Am i ready to move on to something more advanced? With this foundation, can i move on to any core workout? Any of your videos you recommend?
Thanks in advance
Dude! The ads need to stop popping up in the middle of the workouts! I have to stop to skip them!
So proud of myself for sticking through. Feeling like a badass goddess:) thank you
Hey, Adriene I did this Video yesterday and been doing you challenges for a while now. (loving all of it) Thank you very much for your practices.
Is there gonna be one for may too?
can I do this workout every single day (or 6 days a week?) How long or how do I know when it is time to move on to something more advanced?
I love this so much! I feel amazing and I can feel myself getting stronger too. Thanks, Adriene! <3
why am I just seeing this? I hate squats because my knee is injured but with this, I can see myself enjoying it now as my doctor recommended that I do it to heal my knee injury.
Great video. A few suggestions:
1) You should give us reps (I.e. do 10 of these or hold this for 30 seconds). It is not clear from the video how much I should be doing so had to invent my own reps.
2) I don’t like it when you’re describing the exercise and then throw in a comment like ‘just fix my hat,’ ‘oh there is a beatle.’ It can get confusing when I am listening to you describe body positioning etc.
3) I wish you would just give proper description of the exercises and emphasis when needed instead of trying to be a comedian. No offence.
Great videos you have though.
I have been managing these exercises only just found your warm up on chairs. While in isolation in Uk I have have heart problems and spinal stenosis. So as I am able what are the exercises to add into these next. Thank you, keep safe and well
I would consider this a workout with a dash of stretching this was the best yoga I have ever done! Could barley finish but when I did it felt great
Great practice. I think one of your great great strengths is when you do longer videos. You are not rushed. Allows a great buildup and practice.
Me, having flashbacks from middle school when I could only do one push up and was just watching all of my other, fit, classmates do like 20 pushups. Then there’s me now… I can’t even do one
Wow. Just did this extremely difficult (for me) Crow pose. It just happened
Following Adriene for more then 4 years now. But only since Lockdown I’ve been able to give it 40 min every day. Honestly there are a lot of poses I think I have long way to achieve and Crow was one of them, not any more. It was for couple of seconds, but gives me so much confidence and powers to keep going
Thanks for the video, it helps me to find a way of exersizing those muscles without hurting my knees.
But should you be able to control your speed going down? I can control it to a certain extend, but at some point I don’t anymore and I let myself drop a little on the chair. It’s a bit like you do at 0:49. It seems that for the last bit you let yourself fall a little bit in the chair instead of having complete control over it, I have that too.
So is it ok to let yourself fall down (just a little bit) as long as you have the strenght to push yourself back up?
Great videos I’ll definitely check out more of them.
Coach Tulin, you rock! I began doing squats just this way when I started. I love your modification videos and hope you keep them coming.
[email protected]
I do this on a Sunday just to learn the name of the moves, very easy
I’m so excited to see the series of exercises you’ve released! My knees are not very supportive when it comes to squats. I’ll definitely give all of these exercises a go! Thanks so much!
This is my second time through the series and this Day 8 kicks my butt like none other. I was cursing under my breath a lot.:) Thanks for all you do!
The second round of abs work at the end almost killed me lol
Loved this so much Kit! I’m so excited the my KICHGO arrived! Will these workouts be available somewhere after April #0th?
Thank You for these workouts! Amy
Day two and we are back into it. I found out how to view it on the Tele!
I LOVE your videos! I found you while searching for modifications for exercises in a workout plan I want to use. You are right on target when you say that we need to focus on the weight between our ears. That is the hardest part of change. Thank you for having the courage to share your journey with us that we can be encouraged and empowered too.
I’ve been working on this for a few days and I gotta say I am feeling results I will update in a few weeks
Who else is reading the comments and their workout is going on
Yoga and Pilates combination is awesome….. splendid work out… sweat lot and enjoyed a lot.. Thank you
As a 70+ senior I was so glad to see your video showing me senior size exercises and will now begin doing these daily. Thank you.
Mike this routine is great. The only things is I stop breathing while pulling in my stomach. I also do the 30 min along with this. Thanks a ton.
Really good abdominal work:) I’m enjoying doing yoga with Adriene very much.
woah I am SO sorry for all of those…YouTube kept telling me my post wouldn’t go through! promise I’m not a weirdo…
I need a modification for my lower back. After the first day 5/2 I have had lower back pain and cannot sit comfortably.
Why why WHY did I just find out about this now T^T when at my heaviest I struggled so hard with squats on the videos but I did them even if they where somewhat wrong and less than what they said. Also sometimes after the squats I was so tired I couldn’t finish the videos Dx. Now they’re my favorite workout but still why did I find out about this 2 years later lol
I can’t attend your live workouts because of time gap. So I always do yours the next morning. Especially this was wonderful for me. I had a lot of muscle pain in the morning so I felt tired. But after finishing your workouts, I feel better. Thank You
I’m 63 and find these exercises quite easy except for the cycling one. I’m going to do this every day. Or twice a day if I can. Due to not being able walk, I need to find ways to keep my core muscles strong. Thanks.
I LOVE your videos like this. Showing what to do when you’re… Well fat, and helping to set reasonable expectations about what can be done is helping me get moving again. Thank you for showing the way!
Great work! Every day a new challenge! Stay safe and healthy! Greetings from Italy
THANK U from Sweden!!! Seems I just stumbled upon the best overweight training channel ever!!!
i’ve been finding that the more physically challenging a practice is for me, the more powerful i feel afterwards! have a nice day 18 x
Another fantastic workout! Can’t wait for tomorrow. Thank you, Kit!
I needed a good stretch today. This was a stretch with a full on workout. Thank you for giving up your time and expertise, it’s much appreciated.
Maravillosa fusión de yoga y pilates. Entretenida y eficaz, con muy buena técnica. Gracias Kit por hacer de este momento lo mejor del dia. Desde Madrid, en cuarta semana de confinamiento, un abrazo.

Love this workout serious workout with jokes in the middle definitely cant do this while watching it. id be laughing and hurting myself more than the workout would
Three things:
First awesome info! I’m hooked. Love your delivery! Very intelligent humor!
Second and I know the first one was three alone but don’t count that (Judge S.)…. I was literally explaining to my daughter earlier today, why we should buy some Fresca…. And quoted Judge S.
Third I caught the TWSS and that was brilliant!
Extraordinaria rutina, por favor puedes traducir a Español
Saluditos desde la ciudad de Puebla México
Now i know that I’m not the only one embarrassed in front of my parents to do so i do it at night when everyone’s sleeping..
something Coach Tulin didn’t mention that really helped me was to remember to push through my heels to make sure I am using my calves and thighs (and NOT my knees) to actually perform the squat.
Crazy question: of course I am at learning to move (get fit). My question is, do I have to have on tennis shoes to workout??? Will they help in any way or can I barefoot it??? (I am very new at working out) please any and all comments and help are greatly appreciated, thank you. GOD bless
Feeling strong and long! Thank you Adriene! See you tonight for the Bedtime Yoga Sequence in the Month of May Yoga! Day 12 of yoga every day!
Probably the best beginner core workout I have seen because of explanation of technique through scaffold levels including health benefits and risks of not exercising entire core. Once you get past annoying sprinkler noise.
I use your videos to to teach my PE classes, thank you very much!
Your an inspiration Sean!
This was sooo inspirational and relatable. I’m at my biggest right now, my self confidence is at its lowest and worst thing of all I WORK IN THE HEALTH INDUSTRY. it’s embarrassing. I am determined to loose this wait and your video gave me the fresh air I needed to keep pushing towards that goal. Thank you!!
I have Fibromyalgia, and RA, the pain forced me to be less active. I’ve always been heavy, but now I’m over 400 lbs!! I was just able to do squats for the first time since childhood!!!! I cannot tell you how much that means to me. I’m going to be doing the rest of your modified exercises. You’ve given me back hope that was long gone, thank you so incredibly much for sharing your journey.
NURTURE day 110/365:
I went back to school for the first time in over a month this Monday, so I’ve been incredibly tired these past few days. This was very difficult, but I made it through, and now I will return to lay on my bed in true lazy spirit.❤️ Namaste.
Thanx sis, by the way honey in case u didnt know it honey (we fine
I have been struggling and frustrated. I was huge into sports, dancing and other exercise when I was younger. A spinal injury, PT, re-learning to walk, 3 kids, and a bad knee injury later here I am. Every time I lose weight, I gain it back and trying to exercise has been frustrating and aggravating. I would get a migraine and be in so much pain for days after attempting even a 10 minute workout. This looks like what I can do! Something I can use to strengthen my muscles and I really appreciate you posting these FABULOUS videos. You have given me hope!
Thanks for this great beginner’s core video! I am 31 and have already had major back surgery, broke my back in a car accident and have had 7 abdominal surgeries so my core is in rough shape but after losing over 100 lbs now I need to get my muscles back and these seem like a great place to start!
It’s amazing how I can come back to this video after a few months and it’s challenging in a whole new way. Improving my form and connection in my practice has given me more stability to push myself in this old goodie all over again.
oh ok I’ve been doing this for few weeks you are doing a good job
New subbie just ran across this video and look forward to following you. Thank you and GOD bless
When i do the next day exercise, do i have ti repeat the previous day workout or just do the current day workouts?
I love this quality!
Soon you will be in charge of videos for plus size on Beachboy:D
This is by far my favourite yoga video from your channel. Xoxo
its time for another month of hard workouts and high motivation and a 2 months break after that
just a suggestion but i really wish for you to do a full length video of beginners workouts which includes a full workout..includes the time, counts and pace because i really wanted to watch you exersize and doing it at the same time.. or maybe a weekly progression workouts? from beginners to a full modified workouts.. tbh i really hate to work out alone
i only thought about using a chair to support my heavy butt but there’s only videos that aim to push us to do squats we never can and i gave up pretty easily after only 2 or 3 squats.. but watching this really inspire me to work out within my limit for now.. i’m starting working out from today, thanks to you!
I did this one this morning and I loved it. It should be called Easy Core Workout for Brittany because it was exactly what I needed. Thanks Sean!
Day 18 NURTURE! I DID IT! I took more than hour break in between but managed to complete this 40 minutes after doing day 19 earlier. It was a nice way to spend more than an hoir on what is otherwise a rainy April 19th here. Not that I mind the rain, I actually love it. I just do not like the getting wet under my small umbrella side of it. The last 15 minutes of this one were tough though, especially when we started poses with our big toes together in downward dog. I guess one hour is my doable limit for now but I managed more and even succeeded in crow for THREE seconds near the end. Thank you Adriene. One of these days I will subscribe because I really appreciate all these free videos and the time you put into them. ❤
Ok I am gonna start this work out once I. The morning and once in the night.. will post the results
“child pose you can hold this for few seconds or DAYS”…:D:D Thank you for your work and love your focus on postures!!!
I get really frustrated with myself because i feel like i’m not working hard enough and that there isn’t going to be progress. How do i get out of this?
Question how many times a week should I do squats, wall sit up and planks
Great exercises thank you for me being Isolated inside…you are a lovely young man doing..
Take care ✌
Actually studies show, if you exercise before bed, you can struggle to fall asleep, rather exercise a few HOURS before bed
As a 72 year old senior i am happy to find this awesome core strengthening exercise. I have a lot of arthritis and the posture is so important.Thank you and will see tomorrow.
Thank you x3!! I have been looking for modifications that actually work! And no offense to the little people but it just doesn’t look the same when they do it..
Thank you Kit was amazing again. You new moves are awesome .
Anyone have tips on not straining the neck when doing the crunch type lifts (i.e. heads to knees when on your back) etc? Even when I try to lengthen the neck I feel like I’m pressuring more on the neck than my core!:(
You are a grorgouse woman. I’m glad that you are inspiring other to feel thier best.
NURTURE day 18 that was a lovely session with some core work that I enjoyed so much! Thanks Adriene <3
Thanks so much for this! I’m a beginner at working out and this was really helpful. Not too strenuous on my body but I could definitely feel it.
I am actually quite a beginner, I seem to stay a beginner due to long breaks in between. I am going to email you.
I started doing yoga with Adriene a few weeks ago because I started to get very bored during this quarantine, and obviously could not go to a gym to workout. Needless to say, practicing yoga almost everyday with a new video has done wonders for my physical and mental health. For as little as 20 minutes a day, to maybe a bit longer, getting in my yoga with Adriene has been amazing. It’s the perfect way to clear my head at the beginning of each day, but also gives me the confidence to work my best at treating my body with respect and love. This is an amazing way to get exercise, and also practice mindfullness. Thank you adriene, you are amazing!
Isaiah 65:20 No child will die in infancy; everyone will live a very long life. Anyone a hundred years old will be considered young, and to die younger than that will be considered a curse. Also John @, 1John 5: 11,13, John17;3 all promise ETERNAL LIFE for believers in Jesus.
Acts 2: 38 Repent & be water baptized for the forgiveness of sins ( in thought, word and deed ) and for the gift of Holy Spirit.
Mark @ The person who believes and is baptized is saved ; the person who believes not is condemned.
Thank you for this series. I just have one request. If you add to this series, can you change your background color from all white? In watching the videos where you are using the wall for the modification, it looks like you’re kind of hanging in space without a floor or ceiling and that messes with my eyes just a little bit (I can’t even see the big E on the eye charts without my glasses). TFS.
I know this is an old video and you might not see this but where did you purchase the square yoga mat in this video? It looks thick and is wider than mine. Thanks.
this is so Helpful. Thank you. I know I can go on and finally reach my goal with the help of this wonderful Videos. Thanks
Thank you! I am waiting for hip replacement surgery and needed some good exercises for my core. I have to lose 50 pounds before surgery. Leg lifts are killer, I am not able to do some of them because of my bad hip.
Really enjoyed this today, and can feel gradual improvements. Cheers.
Thank you, I look forward to doing the exercises with you every morning.
I really enjoy all your exercise videso at 79 these exercises all really easy for me. I will continue doing them. Thanks Mike
Starting my subscription to your channel with the 30 day beginners challenge. Thank you!
Hello, I enjoy this video I’m 58 have MS and it now starting to really bother my legs. Your videos help. Thank you
Love this Sean, I haven’t been able to workout for ages and my core is always my biggest challenge so a lot of core workouts instantly disempower me but this did the opposite and it’s achievable and motivating to get back ON IT.
This is nice to see some modifications that I can do against a wall. I am already so much better at doing ground work, but some of these things aggravate my wrists (broke them when younger) or they aggravate my shoulder injury (torn out of rotater cuff). Glad these are out there =)
Thanks for the videos. Now that I’ve found them, all I have to do is DO them!!!
Many thanks for that, we will be following your suggested exercises:-)
So excellent. Thank you so much. I am most grateful to you. Blessings.
Kit, how did you manage to be even better each day? This is one of the best workouts ever! Stay healthy and safe Kit!
Bilateral hip replacements age 74 this has helped so very much.
I stopped when it comes to push up,and then continue the rest
Thank you Kit for always bringing something special! Love your energy and love the change every day!!! You are so awesome
Wow, check out all the new messages all of a sudden: )… I’m here every Thursday… is one of my fav routines
I did your 30 minutes core exercises but cannot find them now.Are they still online?
Thank you again for another fantastic practice, Day 18 #ywaNURTURE Namaste
This is a great approach for me. I’m almost eighty-two (but am told I look, talk, think and act much younger). Unfortunately, my right knee and left ankle remind me of my age and your chair exercises are a great work out for me as I benefit without putting stress on my two dubious joints which I work in other ways. Thank you.
Just added this routine to my workout and the progress speaks for itself. Would recommend to anyone trying to get a strong core.
I am a 13 year old male, 5’7, and is 148 lbs. I will be recording my weight every morning until August 25th, 2020.
July 9th: 146.2 lbs
July 10th: 148.0 lbs
July 11th: 146.7 lbs
I love your videos. These are great medications to fat-burning exercises!
the best was the fast way to shed pounds is shorturl.at/vELS0
Great doing JJ Smith challenge and have back problems, my friend has reoccurring knee issues and my mom has recently had a double bypass and other issues so I think this video will be very helpful!!
finally someone understands. I need help. I can’t do what those skinny b**** do. now that there’s a modification I now don’t have an excuse I’m going to start working out as soon as I wake up 8 hours from now I am going to work my butt off
Wow Sean Vigue!!!!!! You are amazing, I love you, You are so great!!!!
Kit, love you, but this was not suitable for beginners, in my opinion. That was super intense. Please, can you also release a bit more moderate workouts for people like me who recover from injuries, more strength training (weights) and less cardio would be great too. Love you though, Kit, and I’m really grateful for your live-workouts. Thanks a lot. xoxo
Is it okay to do full body exercise ;morning warmup and sleepy time stretch at the same day??
I’m presuming when the adverts come on that’s when we rest, is that right. If not then take the adverts away then they won’t distract us!!
Enjoyed it as our usual exercises are closed and we can do this in the garage of our home. Thankyou
This was perfect for me, someone who hasn’t exercised in a LONG time. Not ready for tons of reps on go #1. And I liked your sense of humor. I may have to do this one a few more times before I advance to a standard beginner workout. Thanks for posting this, Sean!
Very good exercise routine for the elderly. Not strenuous, yet works the muscles. Very safe too, can’t fall while sitting down
I’ve been practicing for a little over a year and this was my first time I was able to be in crow pose for almost 5 seconds!!! I still have a big smile on my face that will carry me through the rest of the day. Thank you Adrienne
Had to stop and slow down during some parts but still managed to get to end! So challenging I could really feel the abs section in my hips flexors! Cant wait to workout more
oh thank god theres finally a plus girl showing this video im a plus girl too and its so frustrating trying to get motivated with squats when its all super skimny girls!!!!
I love this routine, it’s an easy way to get some exercise in!
Haissst I can’t do push up can i replace it wit wall push up?
I thought it was going to show us what happens after a month.
“cats never do this” Dammit Sean, I can’t keep my core tight if I’m belly laughing in the pose!
Thank you. I’m out of shape and trying to get back in. This is a great workout for older folks needing to get the core tight.
Thank you so much i really have been struggling to find an exercise that works for me I’m more of a plus-size in the bust area so every exercise I do regardless to whether I’m wearing a sports bra or not always causes more strain on my back and neck. im excited to try these modifications.
Hi last year I slipped and had to undergo a surgery for my hip (dhs) and few months ago I was diagnosed with sciatica nerve compression my lower back hurts 24/7 tried taking pain killers and exercise regularly but nothing seems to be working can you please suggest me few exercises
Nowthis I may try…maybe modify the floor pushups w/ standing ones…
Thank you, Kit, for including upper back exercises in your workouts. I desperately need them every morning.
Just turned 79 last month. I teach at a college twice-a-week. I love life and am blessed with good health. I greatly enjoy and appreciate your exercises here on You Tube. I do some every day! One of my grandsons graduated cum laude’ in kinesiology and he recommended these exercises. Thanks for ALL you do for seniors!
you are a phenomenal yoga teacher. I have been doing one of your yoga practices every morning since lockdown started and it has honestly changed my life
Hi Thanks for these exercises. I am 70, have alot of mobility issues and find it very hard to walk. Can only do seated exercises. What are the best exercises you can suggest to help improve the tops of my legs as they are very painful and week?
Thank you. Will these exercises eventually help me get up and down from the floor so that I can play with my grandson?
Thank you so much for making this video. I am a larger sized lady and attended a Pilates class a couple of days ago after quite a few years of not exercising. I wasn’t expecting to be able to be able to do all the exercises, but was completely shocked at how my larger body left me feeling clumsy, slow and inadequate. I was horrified to find that lying on my side, on a yoga mat was painful! (Is this normal? Are there any modifications I could do?). At this point I was ready to give up, convinced that I was a stupid, clumsy oaf who needed to lose a lot of weight before I took Pilates classes. I really didn’t feel good enough to take an exercise class! Then I found your YouTube channel and feel really encouraged. I am determined now to give the classes a try. It’s really inspiring to see that it’s still possible to exercise, making a few modifications to make a movement achievable. It’s a huge relief to learn that its not necessary to feel that I’m a failure and perform exercises that are painful in order to improve my fitness level and body shape. Thank you, again, for this really inspirational video.
Thank you, Mike. I love all your exercises. They feel so good. My arms are stronger and I am less stiff. It is never too late. I am 86.
I TOTALLY LOVE IT LOVE YOU BRIGHT SIDE IF YOU LIKED IT AS WELL CLICK THE LIKE BUTTON AND DONT FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE TO BRIGHT SIDE TO STAY ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE
This is excellent right now when we are all mostly trapped at home with this crisis.
Maybe you can do this again or republish it so everyone who might be newer can have the opportunity to see it.
I have signed up to More Life Health. Mike knows what he is talking about as he is a trained professional.
He won’t ask us to do anything that will hurt us. Thanks Mike for looking after us oldies.
I truly enjoy my morning yoga ritual of @Yoga With Adriene! I’ve tried several of her videos for relaxation, sleeping, etc. I’m new to this one, and I’m loving it. Although I’m not focused on the scale, I chose this video because of the strengthening sequence. I’m currently focused on strengthening my core in my body movement rituals right now. I know that a strong core helps me with posture, walking, running, dancing and more. This video has me using those muscles in a way that feels good to my whole being! Thank you Adriene. Your energy is awesome!
#yoga #SeeBodyLoveSelf #tf #selflove
Thank you for this. It’s so demoralizing to not be able to work out like everyone else.
Very much appreciate the humor. Hate stuffy workout videos. I’ll come back to yours:) great job.
I’m alarmed to see how much longer my first toe is getting with regular practice
I’m soo glad I found you today. Is there a modification for the 8count abs? My core is a keg it’s gonna take me a minute to be able to do it correctly.
Absolutely loved this practice. Perfect for when I wanted something a little longer and harder but still calming.
Thank you for this! Its very helpful in understanding my overweight client’s needs!
Offft! Great work out. Looking forward to tomorrow if I can move! Did Tabata for the first time on my cruise in September be great to do some again:)
When you do squats, do you suck in your stomach so that the muscles will tighten?
Any advice on good workout shoes for plus size feet? I have wide feet so it is hard to find shoes that don’t hurt or cause me blisters.
This practice really helped me a lot! I hate doing core work, I absolutely hate doing it but I know that it is super valuable. So I was dreading today’s practice. However, the tip you gave us about extending from the crown so our necks don’t get sore really helped me a great deal. My neck is generally always sore after doing these workouts and people always say don’t lift from the neck. I’m always wondering how to hold my head up and not lift from the neck? Thank you for helping with this! A lifelong question solved!
Thank you ! Bright side this has helped me alot
This is great but please start at the number 1 and why only breath in between
This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. No gym expenses, and it suits my lack of suppleness! Will be joining you later. I’ll also be looking at your other videos. Excellent. Thank you.
Hello from France! Love you Kit, you have been such an inspiration for me over the last few years, I am thrilled you are doing this for us in this difficult time. Thank you!
When I try to do squats against the arm of my couch I feel the strain in my upper thighs. Is that where I’m supposed to feel it? If not what am I doing wrong?
Thank you so much Kit for taking out time everyday. I’ve always enjoyed your workouts but now especially enjoy them, trapped at home. This one was fantastic.. loved the variety. Thanks for making your workouts 30 min on average and changing things up daily… I get a full workout and don’t get bored
I don’t know about Y’all but I am doing this to get this job I really want. Who else is doing this for the same reason?
Probably nobody…
thank you this looks easy. I have knee problems and I can’t do many floor excerise…
I will try doing this and I will update week by week and say you what my results are. I will edit every week. Starting from today night 22/07/2020
I promise to update
1st day of exercise: It was nice and I had difficulty with push ups and plank ups so I stopped in middle and did jumping jacks for the two exercises. And I did no dieting because every one knows the diet is the worst enemy of exercise.
Day 2: it was tough than before but it was great I did not do any diet. Even though I did not loose any weight in kgs I lost weight only in grams. I did this exercise only once a day before going to bed.
Day 3: I am so sorry I could not do it because I had people al around me in my room and probably the entire villa. So I could not do it.
Day 4: today was not that difficult it was easy and weight is a suspence
Thank you for the beginners video. It is helping my core wake up…been sleeping for a long time. I love your sense of humor!:)
“that’s what she said” at 02:32, Hilarious how he snuck that in there.
I really enjoyed that and I wasn’t expected to. It’s about a month since I did day 6 of Home (Ignite) and had to tap out of the boat poses. Today I managed it with a smile on my face. Look I’m never going to be the leanest or the strongest or even remotely an advanced practitioner of yoga (my crow attempts remain hysterically clumsy) but my wee tummy is getting a bit stronger in itself
Well I really needed that!!! I still cannot go from dog to lunge..one day! It was perfect and I feel myself getting stronger. Encouraging. Thank you, Adriene and Team.
I love your calming and soothing energy! Just the right amount to make all this videos perfect and right to the point. Thank you for what you are doing and for being you! Lots of love from Portugal! <3
Your comments and compassion for those with weight issues and exercise challenges make my heart sing! Thank you! Not only am overweight but I overcoming a major illness and am trying to regain my strength. Your video helps me to realize there is a method and a way in which I can participate! You are a blessing!
April 18 #ywaNurture on time following #yogawithadriene on the practice to #fwfg. Wish you all a happy saturday.
Starting July 25th. I’ll for sure come back and update August 25th. Maybe in the middle too just to show if it works or not. I’ll set a reminder on my phone for that date but if I don’t come back just comment and remind me.
Yessss!!!!This is exactly what I need to try to get back into exercising. Love it!
Yup. Didn’t want to get on the mat today. But so glad I did. Side note: I’m used to Adriene saying “peddle it out” in downward dog. But the “petting it out” when we were in reclined cobblers pose with our hands on the rib cage hilarious! Nice to get the unexpected laughs! Hello to everyone doing the Nurture calendar ❤️
This feels so easy and calmimg after 1 hour total body workout:) quarantining with yoga and Adriene! <3
Quarantine brought me here lol. I was doing great before the quarantine and finally felt great and then lost it when this all started. I’ll try this for a week straight….I’ll keep updating.
Day 1: it’s definitely a little rough for me. Doing push ups and planksup but it was a quick workout which was great
Day 2: A bit easier which is great! Still having a hard time doing the push ups and planks but I won’t give up. Definitely feeling a bit more confident than yesterday!
Day 3: Had couples night so I didn’t do it!
OK I`ma be Honest: I did about 90% of that. Which is GOOD.
I`m going to come back to it again. And again. And again. Untill I do 100%.
I’m one of those guys who worked out everything but the core. I didn’t work on my abs, core or lower back and I’m paying the price for it. I have horrible lower back problems and my core is weak as hell. Would you suggest doing this daily or how often should I do it? Looking forward to starting this routine up. Thanks for putting together an actual beginners program.
Adriene, I just want to say thank you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You are a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing your practice and for making all of our lives feel a bit lighter and more joyful. xoxoxo
I love your wos on Popsugar and was thrilled to find this challenge! I’m beyond thankful that we have a free access to your classes, I always come out feeling refreshed and awesome. Just the right level for me!! Thank you Kit
I started this practise feeling uneasy and unfocused, impatient for it to end. And by the time it was over i was laughing and thinking how freaking cute you are Adrienne and how much i love you for what you bring into my life everyday. Thank you and Bless your soul
Ohmy gosh, where have you been all my life! Thank you thank you thank you
I’ve been looking for some exercises to target the core which don’t involve having to get down on the floor! These are great for me just starting out.
Thank you, I have very little wrist strength so it is okay to use my forearms?
Just a quick question, should you actually sit your butt on the chair as in the video, or just touch it and come up again?
I am an absolute beginner. I am very overweight and 47 years old. I know I want to do strength training instead of cardio to try to lose weight and strengthen my core. How many minutes per day should I dedicate and what are the best moves to use to begin with?
Awesome!! I have dyspraxia and I’ve always struggled to find exercises that work for me, so I really hope this series will help me ❤️
It’s so odd. In the 4.5 months I’ve been doing yoga with Adriene, it seems to be getting increasingly harder to move into chaturanga, though I can hold planks and hovering tables and move to cobra without trouble. Am I doing too many, or not enough? My “squat-ability” is improving, though, LOL.
Thank you! Really helpful. Well explained, charming. Straight forward.
You should learn a lot from Unflexal if you’d like to know how to training good and be more wholesome.
delicious for the body and great for clearing the mind. thank you! amazing as always
I really like this! My chiropractor is always recommending planks but at 60 and with Fibromyalgia, it is sheer torture. This provides a nice and safe and doable alternative! Thanks!
This is so amazing!! Thank you for doing this. Big healthy hug to you from Munich.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Just found your videos and loving them! You made me want to workout again and have fun doing it! I am lazy and have chronic back problems so this makes working out so much easier and I feel the burn and work up a real good sweat!
This exercise made me really happy. But I have one question: when we come half up (not standing, but also not letting our upper body hang completely) is it better to stretch my bag and bend my knees or should I rather strech my knees and bend the bag. Because I cant stretch both.
Thank you❤
I’m gonna try it from tomorrow and put an update after 30 days…. let’s see if it works
I find those strength training things so difficult. I hurts so so much to do simple exercises
This was intended to be a warm up lol More challenging than I thought. Simple but effective. Great work thank you .
Thank you, this has motivated me to try and exercise and become more active. Knowing you could do this and look and feel better than before means I can move and feel bette soon too! I have previewed the first 6 videos and tomorrow I will begin my morning with some exercise and start a journey to change
Thank you for this wonderful practice. The ice came off our lake April 5, have observed 4 boats traveling slowly (too cold to go fast) and 1 brave person kayaking. Namaste
I am an ICU nurse and I need YWA more than any other time in my life. Thank you!
Wow how was that 40 Minutes. Leaving with a big smile on my face, thank you as always <3
This is so great for me! 67 and both hips replaced. During this stay-at-home Covid 19 event, this is a bright spot of hope for me. I will come out of this stronger and better in balance, stability and strength for riding my horse, bike and just plain life. Thank you!!
Super intense for me and I had to stop a few times, but I LOVED IT!!!!
Done this a few times now and we are beginning to notice an improvement in strength and posture. Thanks.
I did it! In the past, I’ve shied away from these practices, but no more! I might have skipped the last vinyasa and went to child’s pose but did everything else. Thank you Adriene xx Namaste
The best way to improve core strength is, in my humble opinion, yoga That’s not to diminish any other forms of activity but to appreciate that yoga fire
There IS a purpose in quarantine… connect with the things you’ve been wanting to do… Adrienne’s Yoga!! Thanks..helps me keep some routine!!
I love how simple and yet how effective it is. Thank you for explaining what to do what your body and what to focuss on. Just the kind of workout I need, Thanks man!
