Wtf I hope your only going gluten free because you have celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitive, Other wise your just doing it in a fad way. Gluten free diet is only good for people with celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitive. For someone that has no need for the gluten free diet and still go on gluten free diet makes no sense because you can lose weight if you exercise and eat healthy still gluten-free or not.

Great video, new subscriber!:) I’ve recently lost 12 lbs by being gluten “lite,” as you say. I feel so much better off of gluten. I never get bloated and I have WAY less cravings for unhealthy foods than before. I also very naturally eat a lot more veggies and fruit.
Interesting, I’m not vegan or lactose intolerant but I LOVE SOY. And I’m really looking forward to trying these out. I love my milk but I also like almond and rice milk. My fav soy is the vanillas so good ice cream, better than regular vanilla ice cream imo

I plan to have healthy dressings for when my grandparents come but they don’t eat salad that often in a week (maybe twice or so, and it’s three of us). Since these dressings dont last as long as store bought, how much would you suggest I reduce the measurements for these recipes to have a small amount for the week when necessary.

Thank you for the great recipes. I made the Lemony Herb and Hemp dressing. I made it without the date because we cannot eat dried fruit or anything sweet. It was delicious. I will try some of the others without the maple syrup. While we’re on the topic of food, I also make your tapenade on a weekly basis. I make it with red pepper stuffed olives and I add different herbs to switch up a little. The lemon juice adds a nice flavor to the tapenade. I like watching your videos because of your personality. Hearing you also reminds me of the 12 years that we spent living in Toronto.

Psyllium seed is very good for constipation. The best relief for constipation is exercise and getting very hydrated, also leaving the meat and going high in fiber foods. But psyllium husk powder is very good. Remember to stay hydrated and good exercise!

I was eating 4 pieces of Ezekiel Bread a day. I was not losing weight. William Davis, who wrote the Wheat Belly. Says they are not good for you. And raises blood sugar. And when I quit them. diarrhea. And weight loss began again, mental clarity and focus and attention to detail improved. Was it the wheat too many carbs? Thrive is driving me crazy. They’ve been out of a lot of things I only get through them…. making it not worth the membership. Also Kroger is cheaper on many of the brands they carry. I do love that I can find certain things through them but 60$/yr, 75$ in order to get free shipping, no shipping certain things in the heat of the summer, and being out of things for long periods makes it difficult to justify that membership.

Just fyi Mary’s has seaweed in it if folks are allergic to deep sea fish, (like lobster, shrimp etc) it’s likely they’ll be allergic to seaweed as well. I found this out the hard way…avoid anaphylactic shock at all costs.

My doctor says I have no food restrictions as she has never found seeds or nuts in infected intestines during surgery, but I’m still nervous about those tiny chia seeds. Hi. Can you make a shopping haul for a low fodmap diet? (For ibs sufferers) its so hard to shop when most foods have ingredients ibs sufferers cannot digest. (Like no onions. Garlic. Dairy. Gluten etc)

Recipe makeover idea would be a stuffed chicken breast. One of my favorites is a jalapeno popper stuffed chicken breast which is jalapenos, chedder, cream cheese stuffed inside chicken breast and than we wrap the chicken in bacon. I would love to see it changed to be program approved or even doing a rocotta and spinach stuffed chicken.
