If I don’t have peanut butter powder, what should I have to replace it?
Well….three of the five ingredients aren’t safe for me, so I guess I’ll just skip this recipe altogether.
Seems very practical and delicious. I love to put some coconut oil and peanut butter, but I avoid using sugar, I prefer to put some dried fruit.
I LOVE your hair!! And I’m excited to try these babies!!!
Nice, I’ll try all of them. But actually WITH gluten, hope that this will come out the same. And: for the cookies a ice cream spoon is really handy to make balls!
Do you think using a mini-muffin tin could work? For granola bites?
Honestly I couldn’t ever eat like this, however; I’m a nanny and my kiddos do! I love when you post recipes that are gluten and dairy free, perfect after school snack:)
I made these and they are DELICIOUS. I just took them out of the freezer and I’ve already eaten 3 of them. Sooo good!!
peanut butter and jelly is life! I totally need to make these lol I would probably eat the whole batch myself tho xD love peanut butter ♡
Mmmm…st Dalfour jam is a must with this peanut butter granola heaven! Cool idea thank you!
They look super good. I’m diabetic so would this still be okay to eat. Also. Which kind of coconut oil do you recommend. There is so many out there to choose from and I want a good quality one.
Wow these look amazing!! Could you use Cacau powder instead of powdered peanut butter?
Your treats look amazing. And since it’s Saturday I’m going to have to bake something. Thanks for sharing.
I really want to recreate these! I LOVED the Quaker Chewy granola bars when I was a kid (and my favorite was also the s’mores flavor ). What brand of puffed rice cereal did you use? I’ve read that Rice Krispies aren’t vegan
just a question…isn’t flax a grain?
otherwise looks good for a gluten free bar.:)
Your hair looks beautiful! I was just about to make breakfast, so this gave me some pb&j inspiration
Hey Kaitlyn, I have a question. How much of the oats can I replace with ground tvp? For protein
Any diabetics out there who can advise a low carb version of this?
OK, who makes those nice and big gluten free rice crackers? You didn’t show us the package.
OMG i love peanut butter, this recipe is gonna be my to do list on this week. Thank you so much xoxo
I’ve made these a few times. And have substituted all kinds of ingredients and still turn out bomb. I also have made them in an 8×8 and they are thicker more cake like! My kids love them
What a great way to use rhubarb, I’m excited to makes those bars!
Damn I need one of those s’mores bars! I never even thought of cutting up the small marshmallows to get the mini ones! Good idea for hot cocoa too…
I tried these today. I am still waiting for them to cool so I am hopeful. The recipe was very easy thank you. However, dimensions for the sheet pan would have been helpful. What to me was a quarter sheet pan was too big. I did not know how thick they should be so I had to guess how far I should spread the batter, as I would not have had enough to cover my pan. Also in the video you said they are free from all refined sugars, the chocolate chips have sugar
Thank you it was delicious, I made it last night!!!! I love so many of your receipts! I have just subscribed to your chanel, please feel free to subscribe to my channel too, I am new to trying to build my channel here at YouTube!
I love this recipe. I’ve tried three times already. I didn’t add cinnamon and vanilla extract but it’s still wonderfully tasty. Thanks for the wonderful recipe! For sure I will make again:)
I’m allergic to banana can this be made without or is there a subsy? Looks amazing
What would you suggest to replace the banana with? I rather dislike banana so looking for a good substitute.
They look delicious!! How long do they last at room temperature?
Thanks for these recipes.. will show this to my sons. Simple and easy.. and not a single animal was hurt..:D
these look wonderful..what can I substitute for bananas? Thanks marie from
excellent yummy yummy i love it thank you so much for all the recipes God bless you
These are the tastiest things I have tried lately.
Thank you ❤️
Made this last night on my new quarter sheet pan. I followed the recipe except (1) I toasted 1.5C large walnuts (250 oven for 30M) and then chopped them. I meant to carefully measure the chopped nuts but forgot so I’m guessing that the 1.5C unchopped came to 1.25C chopped. Second tweak was I added splashes of soy milk because the batter was like cement. I used the equivalent of maybe 1/4C. Any nut milk would have loosened the batter. I used organic crunchy PB, no salt, roasted peanuts being the only ingredient. After the “loaf” cooled down, It slipped easily out of the pan onto a cutting board. THEY’RE FABULOUS. Maybe even a tad too sweet, so next time (1) I’ll use at least 1/2C nut milk, (2) stick with whatever 1.5C of nuts equals when chopped (sunflower & pumpkin seeds, almond slivers, slices or toasted chopped hazelnuts would be great too), (3) double the cinnamon and vanilla, and (4) 1/4C chocolate chips and 1/4C cacao nibs to tamp down the sweetness and add crunch and nutrition. Dani, you are GOOD!!! Thank you!
Since you asked for new video ideas:
Healthy-ish Coffee Cake (GF)
Little Debbies Strawberry Shortcake (GF)
Apple Cider Donuts (GF)
Sour Cream Donuts (GF)
Any adjustments to use Steel Cut Oats? or 3-minute Steel Cut Oats?
Thanks for the simple recipe. Those look exactly like the chew quacker smore oat bars that I grew up eating.
Made these today with coconut instead of walnuts and wow!! Big hit!
I love your channel. Bevause I’m trying to break free from diets using the intuitive eating principles, I’ve mentally renamed your channel “Real, Mostly Whole, and Delicious.” Thanks so much!!
These snacks looked so yummy and your such a life saver I haven’t bought a dairy free “nutella” because it’s so pricey but I’m mind blown on how easily you made one with almond butter. I am definitely going to make that maybe even top it on top of the mug cake as a frosting
Hi ms. Dani, silent viewer herei really really admire you everytime i watch your vdeos, specially on your cooking skills,i love cooking toothanks for sharing your recipes.. Philippines❤️
@Diana Keuilian Can i use honey instead on maple syrup? my body doesnt like a lot of sugar at a time and the maple syrup that i get has like 29-30grams of sugar (all natural sugar) so i was just wondering about it and im also wondering when do you upload videos?
Please respond!!!!
If the chocolate chips are without sugar, as you said there was no sugar in the ingredients, then where am I able to buy it please. Thank you.
Hi Dani! I want to make this recipe but I only have 2 very ripe bananas. Are there any other adjustments I should make?
These look delicious! Thank you so much for including the recipe in the drop-down box itself, makes it easier to make the recipe while actually viewing the video. And you’re so cute in the outtakes at the end.
This how you got me to finally use the oven:) added some white eggs and protein powder too! It’s clean and super delicious
Thank you for this not only am I allergic to dairy I’m also allergic to gluten ♀️I was lost in what to bake when I was diagnosed now I always come back to see what your baking or cooking
can you pls put the measurements in your videos? i love your recipes but i don’t see the point of watching them if you aren’t gonna put measurements
Soooo good! Just made these. Unfortunately, only one banana was brown. The other two were dark yellow. Still came out very sweet and delicious. Only thing that I don’t like is that they fell apart when cutting my bar, but I also cut it as soon as it came out of the oven cause I’m hangry lol
Great Tips! I like to Say…Each meal is an investmentAnd it adds up!
Can’t wait to try! Can I use frozen bananas but defrost them? I usually freeze my bananas cause I use the ripe ones for smoothies. Thanks!
SUBSTITUTE?
If you don’t have ripe bananas or just want to cut the sugar, could you use some pumpkin puree and some stevia or xylitol for sweetness?
I just remembered I haven’t had granola bars in forever! I was diagnosed with nut allergies at age 13 and most store bought granola bars have nuts in them. Back then I was way too much of a lazy shit to make my own, but now I can’t wait lol
They look soo good! I’ve tryed other recipes and their the best I’ve ever had I love your meals and desserts with oatmeal you make their delicious a few ingredients and awesome.
I’m excited to try this. Your granola recipe got me started making my own granola, and I haven’t purchased any pre-made granola since.
Sometimes, there isn’t anything better than pb&j. Looks so simple and yummy!
Love these! I bake gluten free on occasion for friends and find it restrictively expensive but
I do love the process of doing something different. Also, never tried rhubarb!
OMG!!! Made these and they are ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! Didn’t have creamy peanut butter nor walnuts. Used my crunchy peanut butter with flax and chia seeds… SO GOOD!!!
Could you use almond butter instead? Is there such thing as powdered almond butter?:)
Look yummy. Will definitely make them.
I could see when you were cutting them they broke up a little. I wonder would cutting them before going into the oven work better? Just a thought.
I could use some energy right now haha! I might have to give these bars a try!
I would love a re-creation of those oatmeal pies with the cream in the middle.
my fav was the s’mores flavor!! soooo good im definitely gonna try this out! you should try recreating cosmic brownies next, omg those were my lifeeeee when I was little! thanks for the recipe:)
I am doing mine with pumpkin puree, a mix of hemp seeds, cashews, pistachios and walnuts.
This looks yummy. If the oats weren’t as blitzed, this base looks like it would make a tasty granola.
Why would you microwave? You just took all the nutrients out of the nut butter and coconut sugar and radiated it.. not healthy.. when microwaves first came out. The food that came out of them made ppl sick. They destroy food..
tried this recipe and it is very good. I will say they arent sweet enough for me so Id recommend adding some sugar or sweetened coconut flakes or something to add sweetness
These look superb! Like I NEED to try all three flavors but I think combining the peanut butter and chocolate chip granola bar would be perfect for me because I love PB and chocolate!
I’m definitely going to prep these for this week! They look delicious
Omg that looks so good. Im gonna try your recipe. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Can we make this energy bar without an oven… if yes please share a detailed note on it including the timing as well
What if we don’t have a quarter sheet pan and only a half sheet pan?
Just made a badge with chocolate chips and another with raisins. I took roasted hazelnuts instead of walnuts. My kids looooooved them, they are extremely delicious!!!!
This I will make over and over again. Just exceptional♥️
Dani these bars were a hit at our house. I did melt some chocolate and put it on top though.
Wow! love this video Inspired to try this today only don’t have 3 ripe bananas only 2 if I can’t find extra banana maybe will try apple sauce?
Yummy! Do you have to use the Powder PB? I have never seen that before. Did you get your hair cut? It looks great.
have you ever tried adding an egg or two to the recipe? would it make it more cookie like? or no?
does it have to be baked? What is the benefit of baking?
Is it edible/healthy without baking?
Love your recipes. You remind me of Claire from modern family
Is there anything I can substitute the powdered peanut butter with? I’m pretty sure I can’t get it in my country I would love to make these anyway…
ty for sharing! these sure beat Pop tarts in nutrition & my kids loved them
These look amazing PB&J never gets old, no matter how old we get!
You should go to WooPep if you’d like to make diet better guys.
wonderful videos!
May I ask what is the difference between vegetarian and vegan??
+shanon bedwell, Yes, honey can be used instead of maple syrup. Enjoy!
ugh yumm choc chip cookies are my favourite! and those crumble bars look amazing!
I don’t have a childhood fav as I grew up in a time when Granola Bars hadn’t been invented yet:-)..but I love your recipes and will definitely give these a try.
Its really amazing. So adding chocolate chip is healthy?? I am on a diet so just wanted to check.
I adore the mood and artistic quality of your videos! So relaxing. Can’t wait to try some of these recipes!
Looks amazing!!! I am completely OBSESSED with you videos and channel. The videography + editing are just beautiful… and just the whole aesthetic of your lifestyle. So calming and relaxing to watch.
Could you make a video of veganized traditional Swedish recipes, perhaps?
I used quick oats which may have made my mix a little dry but I’d recommend adding more wet ingredients. Love how easy this is, I’ll definitely try it again soon ☺️
I was very happy to find such a good and healthy recipe.
Unfortunately I tried it and it didn’t work for me
I finished with a kind of “softy cake paste” after cooking it in the oven
I don’t know what went wrong
How will we continue in our sin. Please repent for the Lord is coming.
I’m really wanting to shift into all natural foods the way you eat,buy I’m really scared to get off of the weight watchers plan. I feel so tied down to points instead of focusing on good food to fill me up.. although if I quit my ww I’m so affraid of gaining weight . Any words of advice. I still have to lose another 25-30 lbs
I just made these…came out well. I like that they are not super sweet like most commercial bars. Could you substitute Apple sauce for the banana?
I would always get the chocolate chip bars but I would pick out the chocolate chips and eat them first.
I was a weird kid.
Those muffins look so good!! You’re video is very aesthetically pleasing!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I made this protien bar and it was super delicious and next time I’m gng to try these with almond butter. Thank u so much
How will we continue in our sin. Please repent for the Lord is coming.
U are so cute and sweet God bless you thanks for sharing video ♥️♥️♥️
Watching your videos makes me feel so good, your vibe gives me good chills
Great video love its so interesting and inspiring I recently channel to track my success in cooking check it out @ Daley lifestyle
Omg Cai Cai so nostalgic I love granola bars! The fact that you made three different flavors are so awesome! I would’ve added either raisins or dried cranberries to the peanut butter ones
If we don’t have a quarter sheet pan and using a full sheet, should we add 3 x’s the ingredients? How many mins in the oven? Thanks.
Thank you for the recipe!! I just made it and it was delish!! The only thing is the sides where it was cooked more turned out reaally salty, the rest was fine. Anyone got an idea how that might have happened? I didn’t add any salt, although I used sea salt peanut butter. And I added vanilla extract but not cinnamon. Also I used those Costco candied pecans instead of walnuts.
What kind of peanut butter did you use. Looked very soft and easily spread.
Thank you Danni! These are simply Delicious! I changed up the recipe a little by using almonds, coconut shreds and raisins. Also, using BP&Me mixed with Kraft peanut butter (what I have on hands). They turned out so great!! Thanks again for sharing yours creations and ideas!! ♀️
I recently started making my own granola bars at home (so much better than store-bought) so I am really excited to try your recipes now!
Looks awesome!
But I don’t have powdered peanut butter, is it optional or do I really need to find some for that recipe??
Granola bars at this point should just be called dessert bars. Nothing about them is healthy.
These really do look simple! I’m excited to try your recipe, thanks for sharing it. My favorite were the s’mores granola bars!
Hope you enjoyed the video! Get the full recipe here: https://frommybowl.com/vegan-chewy-granola-bars/
Hi, can this be baked on parchment paper instead of using the coconut oil? I don’t like coconut oil….
I ate them every once in a while but when other kids at school had the apple pie one I lost my mind
Is agave oil sweet?? Cause I don’t want my bars to be That sweet
I’m making these right now, but decided to make the base + dark chocolate chips, slivered almonds, and dried cranberries.
Lovely I make a raspberry or strawberry mint puree and eat them for desert too!
AWESOME. As a child I wasn’t a fan of granola bars but I love making my own. TFS. Be Blessed
I found these to be very dry; more so than the energy bars purchased at a store. Maybe adding raisins would help with that?
Is it possible to switch bananas for apple sauce? If so, will it taste similar or close?
Love Granola Bars. Will definitely try to make the S’more’s one.:)
Ooh I’m going to try these! Most vegan chewy granola bar recipes tend to have dates which aren’t the most budget friendly sometimes.
Girl, are you psychic? I was JUST thinking “hmm.. I wish I had a recipe for chewy bars” and look at this. Lol I plan on making a chocolate chip one with pretzel bits.
The only problem is that the Dandies marshmallows have carrageenan in them.
these look delish, dani! going to make them today. i almost didn’t recognize you, with your darker hair color! looks good! i am so grateful for your yummy, healthy recipes. thank you!!
Wonderful recipe!
Made these today and they turned out great, really easy to make, chewy from the inside and crunchy outside.
they are great for me because I’m working at 2 jobs and looking for snacks for the rest of the day.
Thank you so much❤
You have such a huge jar of poppyseeds! Would you know how to make a poppyseed cake? Not sure if you make it in Sweden but it exists in Austria and Germany too perhaps. It’s made with lots of eggwhites as there is almost no flour, I wonder if a vegan version is possible
what a pleasure to start my weekend with one of your beautiful videos. Love all three of them, I’ll be making the crumble soon unfortunately without the rhubarb as I can’t find it here but with the berries I guess it will also be just amazing. thank you so much.
Love this and will try the recipe. I do make my own gluten free oatmeal dried fruit and nut bars, so something new to try is great! Thx.
I really enjoy cooking with you Dani! You have such a fun sweet personality, your recipes are always so good and I don’t feel guilty eating them!! Thank you!!
Hey, you look pretty tired in this video. I hope you are doing okget some rest if you need it:)
I’m in love with this recipe! I’ve tried your other no-bake granola bars and while they are wonderful they definitely are sticky and prone to falling apart. This ones look more put together! And the rice cereal is interesting.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I’ve been looking for a healthier vegan recipe for granola bars. I can’t wait to try this!
I’ve sat here and have all the ingredients so I’m off to the kitchen
A quarter sheet pan is 13 X 9, so use the baking dish you probably already have for brownies, etc.
Would regular peanut butter work? I don’t have all natural peanut butter.
Are vegan chocolate chips and the marshmallows even healthy for the digestive system? I’m trying to reset my health. And want to stay away from processed chemicals, additives, fillers as much as possible! My nervous system gets all wacko when I eat processed stuff:(
Thanks for the recipe! Can’t wait to try it:) I’m always looking for snacks for before exercising, because I can’t go on an empty stomach. When I was a kid, I loved the ones with banana and chocolate <3
I’ve been wanting to look for a recipe the past couple weeks for these to make my son for school instead of buying the really bad stuff, but hadn’t got to it yet. This video popped up and I’m so grateful. Saved and will be making soon.
Great vegan granola bars recipe because standard granola isn’t vegan due to the honey. I have found that honey free granola isn’t cheap unless you make it yourself which I haven’t done yet but I will get round to it eventually.
Yum! Gonna make sunbutter bars and choc chips bars! Thanks for this easy recipe!
“Some sugar, some oats… etc” is it really so hard to say how much oats/sugar is added?
Nice and peaceful video but not a recipe one can follow, unless they want “some” stuff on their plate
I want to try everyone of the recepies! It looks sooo good and delicious!!! Pretty als always ☺️
The raspberry rhubarb jam looks like heaven!! Thank you for these easy and delicious recipes!! So excited to try them ALL!
Hello Dani, can you suggest an alternative to the peanut butter and walnuts for a nut allergy sufferer please?
Thank you so much for making this video! I’ve struggled for so long to find tasty gluten free and vegan sweet treats!
Oh my, all these goodies look beautifulthere’s nothing better than a little healthier sweet treat in the evening or morning.. basically at any time of the day! The rhubarb annd raspberry jam colour is soo vibrant! I love springmostly because of asparagus and rhubarb. Me and my mom already ate like 7 rhubarb,,sticks” this week:) And your crumble bar looks very delish! At the moment I’m craving some chocolate buckwheat cookies i saw on the internet yesterday, but already ate sweets today. So I’m seating here, snacking on some cherry tomatoes (imagining that they are chocolate balls:)) and watching your video. Cinematography and audio on point, as always. I’d love to meet you some day, you seem to be such a creative and sympathique person! Huge hugs, waiting for next amazing ideas! <3
Love these, made it 4 times already (different variations (dried berries, coconut flakes, apricots) works very time Thanks a lot… love your recipes
I MUST make these! These look scrumptious! I love your short hair!
Do you prefer using powdered peanut butter? I never used it so I’m curious!
I adore your videos, you bring so much joy and inspiration, Thank you:)
I love the simplicity of your recipes although I am sure that their development needs a lot of time and dedication…
how long would you need to leave one to defrost from the freezer?
Hi I’m definitely going to try this protein bar. But I have a doubt, can we use any pan or do we need to have particular inch pan to prepare these bars? Pls reply
I love making crumble bars too. I will try with rhubarb, thanks for all those delicious recipes. Amandine from France
These look sooo good! Would love a vegan snickle doodle cookie recipe
I’m not a huge fan of nut butters. I wonder how you would use oil instead?
Looks delicious, if anyone is looking to avoid using oil use apple sauce.
I really love that you make things so accessible and easy for people to do. Why make healthier (and enjoyable eating) so complicated, expensive, or trendy? People will always come back for the classics, like a great wool topcoat in the winter furry shrugs (and dalgona coffee) wont last a season or more before the next “big thing” hits. Thank you for this recipe I have never made bars before, but it looks pretty easy, and I can’t wait to try it! Cheers, and hope you and your loved ones are taking good care during this time.
I just made some, they are awesome, but instead of chocolate chips I putted dry grapes
I have all the ingredients except coconut oil. Is there anything else I can use?
I‘m so pleased to see the plates you made yourself! They’re so pretty. And I’ll try the chocolate cookies this afternoon for sure!
brilliant recepie!! thanx!!
You look great in your new haircut❤
They all look so good! I love anything with lemon. What does rhubarb taste like? Thank you!
I looooved chewy granola bars chocolate chip was my favorite flavor.
If I left out the puffed rice would it still work? I’m trying to make them without plastic waste and puffed rice I cant find in bulk
Yum looks good…love the lemon and poppy! Btw what type of lighting to you use looks so natural! Please share
