U can eat the skin of an apple, but avoid apple juice. strawberry and as well as blueberries are very healthy for u. I told my doctor this, he had no reply, he gave me a full physical and my blood sugars in normal range (all fasting numbers) my triglyerides are coming down, my cholesterol is coming down from last time, my bp is still way to high but this is a lifelong problem. I decided to do moderate low carb diet for awhile, still was having trouble at night if my caloires went to low (I was not restricting on purpose) but decided maybe milk is the problem since I have metabolic syndrome like crazy, life long problem too, I even lost some inches, but anyway when I stopped milk oh boy my anxiety attacks at night increased for a day or two, but apples stopped that, and I got a sinus infection on top of that and antibotics don’t help with blood sugar issues, for all you people out ther eI love milk so making this decision was not easy to pinpoint why I was having this problem despite a better diet (no pop, no junk food no cookies cakes ice cream (except occasionally) and for anyone tha tknows me ice cream was a daily thing sometimes twice a day and pop was a daily thing sometimes twice. I am now just starting to feel better as the infection is clearing up my anxiety has subsided, my energy levels are returning, and I don’t run to the bathroom like I used to. my goal? lose weight? nope, that is secondary, my goal is to heal what caused my glucose intolerance in the first place, malnutrition, the rda is very very lacking of information on what we really need to thrive not just survive. the rds and nutrition recommendations are focused on certain disease prevention and weight loss, which is missing 90 percent of the rest of the story the most important. I am working on building up minerals, especially, and sulfer compounds like alpha lipoic acid and biotin, the sulfer in lipoic acid is what heals the cells ability to handle glucose to create the negative charge needed and create the glucose shuttle to get glucose to the mitrocondria without damaging sensitive cytoplasm,

ahhh thank you!! and i’m not really sure why, but i can’t stand unripe bananas. i love them with small, scattered, brown dots,,, not the completely brown ones, but i’m sure they have relatively the same sugar content just the unripe ones taste like chemicals to me, even if i buy organic or wash them. it just tastes and smells awful for me!! maybe i could try making banana ice cream, where they freeze it, then blend it. i won’t add sugar, maybe that could make it more tolerable for me?? (also don’t really like frozen fruits very much… but fruits in general i’m obsessed with!!!✨,,, so expensive now-a-days though)

Great you lost weight, but you are not dietitians. Bananas are great for potassium. Sugar from fruit is different than processed sugar. Dried fruit I agree because it is better healthier to eat real fruit. Pineapple is great for digestion because of the enzymes that help process food. As far as canned fruit, yes bad. I think it is funny after watching your pig out day, that you talk about the sugar in real fruit.
