I know it’s a little but old (2020), however, in amidst of the covid 19 pandemic in 2020 I am trying to find the best way to shed these pounds. Now, that our gym has opened back up at 25% I find myself wanting to just run (typically about 30mins). Afterwards, I feel I need to do a work as I dont feel like I have worked out BUT I love running. So here I am searching for how to get the best out of the treadmill and thus far YOUR video has been the most direct and instructional video. This works! What I do is walk for a half a mile and then run for the other half. I do this till I reach 5 miles total. I lost like five pounds a week and also, I noticed my endurance for running went up. The speeds I go between is 3.7 for a walk. And then I started at 4.7 for a run and now have moved up to 6.2 for a run.
I did this yesterday. 5 min warmup 1 min max run 1 max light jog. Ten round. 5 min cool down. I will do this twice a week, do my cardio class once a week, upper body strength train once a week, lower body strength once a week. I will check back in one month. Thank you Amy. Wish me luck!!!

I do not have access to a treadmill. However, while I won’t have the chance to follow the workout while I enjoy the wonderful looks at your figure it affords, this video inspires me to intensify certain moves that I do in other routines. For example, I realize I can use my step to elevate push-ups, something you do using the treadmill.

I’m the total opposite. I noticed my joints hurt when I run on an incline but feel nothing when I run on a flat surface…so except I’m cooling down by walking, my treadmill incline is always on 0.0.

Thanks for the shinsplints tip! I’ve been simply doing speed walking at a high incline for 45 daily because I’m prone to shinsplints and I didn’t want to get injured. I want to run tho. So yay HIIT I’ll be sure to give it a try this week.

I did this last night for the first time! Set the treadmill for 30 min. I walked 5 min @ 3.0, then did 2 min light jog @ 4.5 back down to 3.0 for 3 min….. then kicked it up to 7.5 for 30 sec walk @ 3.0 for 1 min.. did that 13X till it was about 5 min left and walked @ 3.0!! I was sweating and today I’m sore.. lol gonna do this 3X a week(Sun, Mo’n and Wed) Also I’m I.F. So I’m ready to see these results! Lol

Hi! I have gained a little weight recently and I have heard sprints (HIIT) is the best way to burn fat fast! I do crossfit so we don’t have a treadmill at my box. We do have a rowing machine. I have been doing sprints on the rowing machine 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off. Will that give me results?? Or it has to be a treadmill??

Hey girl, for the past few years I haven’t been active much at all. I am now trying to get back in shape. I’ve tried your workout several different times and each time I do, I have to stop. My knees hurt so bad when they hit the treadmill, the pain is practically unbearable. I have tried wearing knee braces but it doesn’t help. Any suggestions? I’d really appreciate it! I want to try running sprints on the treadmill but I’m so afraid lol. I use the elliptical or arc trainer lol. I usually walk around 3.2-3.3. But i alternate my incline anywhere from 10-15 on and off. All the way to 15 for a few minutes and back dowm and just play with the speed and incline. I’ve just recently started going again so I’m trying to build my endurance, but I would love to get to a point where I’m running sprints on the treadmill.
