I do these exercises at least 3 times a week. Makes up for not going to the gym!
So much forward bending without bent knees can easily strain the lower back if the hamstrings are tight. I would recommend keeping beginners in a more mechanically sound position than a virtually straight-legged forward-bend for so many reps.

Hi: I have an online VA appointments on the internet that keep me busy. I walk 1-mile a day, every day. I don’t mind bad weather. Next I complete 70 minutes on a machine referred to as a Cubii. Last I do YouTube video. I do like the tone and pace of your programs. My goals are to continue recovery from operations. I have lost almost 70 pounds and continue my workouts. During the covid shutdown there are no weights in sight. Not a single store or online has them. I’ve just been using full water bottles, about 1 1/2 pounds. Will try to buy weights after stuff gets back to normal.

I am 59yrs. I’m active, exercises on and off. In my job I’m active I have osteoporosis arthritis on the knees. Difficult to do squats. My only problem is after doing this exercises my body aches a lot the following day…L.A. this normal? I end up taking painkillers again. This makes me feel discouraged to continue. Coz I feel maybe not good for me
Coach, again thanks for the exercise. I just have a question I am in my late 30’s and I am having some problems when doing exercise (even stretching) using my shoulder it easily tires or I felt strain? Any advice you could give?

Hi Jenny, I have been doing your 25 minute and 20 minute workouts since I self isolated 14 weeks ago here in the UK and have been doing ay least one everyday since early April. I love the music and the workouts in front of your garage. I am 72 and have been exercising for all my adult life and wanted to tell you that I think you really are an excellent teacher. I just wanted to say thank you. You have made lockdown more bearable.
I’ve been doing this workout every day as I’m in lock down I’m 65yrs and I have Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and also had several major operations.This work out has been great I’ve had to adapt it a little bit in places as my joints have become painful but I’m still doing it 8 weeks later. Physically I feel so much better for doing it but psychologically it makes me feel good about myself I’ve recommended it to my friends and family I feel so positive about it.
Just started doing your strength workouts and I LOVE them (something even a month ago I never thought I’d say!). Really like the way you make them so they can be tailored to your own fitness level, and you’re both really encouraging, calm & positive…and have lovely voices! Thank you Coach Kozack & Claudia .

I haven’t been able to go to the gym as often as I did before the pandemic…so working out with you has been just a marvelous experience. Last summer I was in severe pain with sciatica in BOTH my legs. I was in excruciating pain after a very long two day drive. My sister in law recommended HAS Fit and it seemed a miracle but over night so much of my pain was gone. Ever since then I’ve been a HAS fit fan, doing your senior workouts a few times a week. I also am 73 years old and your senior exercises and stretching routines are just what I need. Keep them coming…I enjoy both of you. Coach, you have a very wonderful way with people. Until Covid I went to the gym 7 days a week. While sheltering in place I discovered your workouts and I am very comfortable with them. I am 82 years old and working out with your various approaches to keeping myself healthy is so pleasant. I look forward to doing them almost daily. Thank you. I for one at age 68 am enraged by Governor newsoms decision to again close again for the whole state, including the Get Fit club I rejoined after a painful shutdown the first shutdown. I say we should not just go booh-hooh, poor us. No, this is a grave injustice. I say “We want justice! Get Fit was going far beyond the requirements of social distancing, masks, and sanitation. I had lost 12 pounds in 5 weeks. I was so excited to rid.my body of severe obesity! I got up to 259 lbs. I weighed 140 lbs at my.senior prom. This was my goal to lose 120 lbs. I suffer from severe depression. Exercise helps me get unburied from that chronic depression. Plenty of studies have proved exercise increase your o I am very angry does it get fit Club has closed in Davis I’m extremely depressed over this is an extreme and Justice Governors and has gone too far the government has too much control I suffer from severe depression exercise helps reduce my depression my goal was to lose 120 lb I had to come 120 lb overweight less severely affected my depression and obesity is one of the number one factors of having a better chance of getting a covid-19 and not surviving it I was working very hard and lost 12 lb at the get sick club and Davis just before this second closed down as a get fit Club this is not okay we need to fight for justice the government has too much control this is completely unfair I’m a neck Scientologist I participated in one of the largest demonstrations in the United States in the world in 1985 fighting for freedom of religion we need to have a fight fight for justice the people that want to not die from the covid-19 California by protecting ourselves for not being obese and exercise is one that number 1 factors and help people have a stronger muting the fights at covid-19 if you happen to get it join me let’s demonstrate fight for justice just like we had black lives matter mental mental health lives matter member I’m a member mindfreedom. Due to the stay at home rule, and my having knee and back problems all the sitting I have been doing is not healthy for my 75 year old body. I found this exercise and I like both the coaches and I can do the movements that work for me. I never exercise and have finally decided to do something. I am grateful for this routine.

always a little spooky how you say to remember to breathe/keep good posture/tighten core when I am having issues with those specific things. the slides of positive words might be cheesy, but those little affirmations keep me coming back every day. keep up the good work hasfit!

My husband and I have been using your exercise videos For seniors for a couple of months now & have really enjoyed them. The individual exercises reach most major muscle groups & work on your cardiovascular fitness. One area that amuses us is your timing; we were quite amused by the “shrinking” minute’s rest in the workout in your house. A minute becomes 45 seconds, then 30 seconds & finally about 20 seconds, it’s left us giggling for ages.
I’m not sure about the people of Scotland where we live, but your seniors in North Carolina must be fit! We were in North Carolina a couple of years ago but didn’t notice.
Seriously, thanks for your efforts. The exercises are really good, enjoyable & beneficial. We are definitely benefiting, keep up the good work.

Great video and coaching. These are great for us matured youth even those of us recovering from gout. One suggestion is when doing shoulder presses to keep your elbows forward of your shoulder or chest plain. This is helpful for those of us who have had rotator cuff and or impingement damage. Also, Iʻm thinking of doing this series with no weights and using this for cardio.
Excellent for crocks, u explain things so well and I never feel nerve pain wth my injuries just nice healthy pain from exercise as it’s been so long. After spending so much on physios and in so much pain wth their exercise, yours have been amazing.
I just discover this HASFit some exercises were very good but other were outright dangerous for seniors. You never add pressure to their knee to hyperextend the joint (above or below but never on the knee). Nor do they ever instruct the participants to pull their belly buttons in for back support. Also in the senior industry do you ever take both legs off the floor in a sitted position at the same time as most participants don’t have the ab or back strength to preform the exercise correctly. As I said earlier I did like some of they exercises. I’m planning on checking out other video

Thanks for your great, go-to work-outs for seniors. I love that each one is individually adaptable. I have one issue: being at home much more during this pandemic, I am sitting much more and for longer stretches. As a result, I am having some mid back issues; not serious for now, but I do sense that if not mindful my back could go out. So, I’d be interested in ways to integrate more back and core strengthening into your aerobics programs. I used to do core work at the gym on machines. Sit-ups are hard because of neck issues. With weight exercises is it best to not do two consecutive days?
When I do the bicep exercise, leaning over with one weight, my shoulders make noises. Should I be concerned about that?

Hi again Jenny, On the tricep kickbacks should I bring the weight all the way forward? Seems like the last portion of this maneuver actually switches to working the biceps but perhaps there is a negative component that I am not aware of. My inclination is to lower the forearm slowly to hang straight down then push back up to a straight arm. Your thoughts? thanks

I’m fine until we get to the first shoulder exercise, and then I have to switch to 4 pound weights and it’s still very difficult. I’m doing these every other day, and I really like the workout but I do not yet feel like it’s getting easier at all. I hope I feel stronger soon.
Yesssss!!! Day three of my training with the beginner’s (Foundation) program. Though I’m not really a beginner (I’ve been working out for years) I was so seriously out of shape that starting here seemed the sensible thing to do to me. Starting at 97,7 kg (215 lbs) I was really happy to see I’m going down already, towards the 96 kg (211 lbs) Really looking forward to getting out of the 200 lbs mark, hahaha….. Hi from India! I have been doing this set of weight training regularly ( since 2 months) and I can feel lot of strength on my shoulder and arms. It’s been a year now since I fractured my right shoulder ( rotator cuff) in Germany and had surgery there. After lockdown I cdn’t go for my Physiotherapy and then luckily I came through your channel, you came as my saviour. I have really benefited with these exercises. God bless you Jenny. I still have pain which dr’s say it will go away with time. I request you to add few exercises more for rotator cuff. Stay safe and healthy and keep posting your videos
I like this short version of cardio, I do this before ur 25 mins weights exercises and followed with the balance exercises. Thank you.
