how do you count the lunges. one leg is one rep of both legs for one rep?
thanks
That’s a tough workout. Thanks for posting this! We added your demo to our “Bert” WOD page: https://wodwell.com/wod/bert/
Great video. One extra tip would be to go straight into your first push jerk as soon as you catch your ninth hang clean, rather than standing all the way up and re-dipping. Also, unlike the hang cleans and push jerks, it is actually fine to break up your deadlifts into two or three sets, especially in the later rounds. This tactic makes it easier mentally, knowing that you only need to do five or seven deadlifts rather than eleven, and it will allow you to pick the bar up much sooner after completing a set of push jerks, potentially making you faster overall.
Gracias por hacerme reir tanto con tus ejemplos de malos movimientos
Is this a lesson on how NOT to pace a workout? I’ve never seen split times that bad. Good luck with this strategy in the Open.
A esta rutina solo le falta sumarle una serie de 100 abdominales
Wondering what you would think about doing DT EMOM style? One minute for each movement and you would finish in under 15 min.
A little lack on form specially on the burpees but overall ok
The one and only Cariman… Gran video de un gran WOD con un grande….
Did this last week and only got to 4+11 in a 37 min timecap. Very hard workout.
Nice workout. That are no push-ups, just do them till your nose touches the ground, than that is a good quality push up. Good luck.
Should I not join because there’s no way I can imagine doing this?
I absolutely love CrossFit but god damn, do a static pull-up once in a while. This kipping shit they do is just stupid. Wow I can swing my body. Good for me. Like a 5 year old in the park. Literally the only thing I don’t agree with.
I lost it when you went to do that biceps curl with the kettlebell, hahaha
Is it normal vomiting at the end of Wod!!! He forces his body to an extremely dangerous limit and as a result body reacts it in this way.
Hector was lucky with how lenient they were with some of them Reps
Jenna is superhuman. She doesnt even sweat and is not looking fatiqued at all even at round seven.Curious for the uncut, full video.
Look how fatiqued the CF Games champ Annie is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwaJL0B2pt8&t=172s
“contemplate my existence” yeah…. that has been me a few times
Thank your Ben and the WODprep team for the video. You are a WOD wizard.
Thank you for taking the time to talk about the reasons why we do Hero WODs. It is important and can get lost.
wow Jenna great form through out!! super strong and driven <3
definitely a good get money session, but form is disregarded. all that swinging on the bar when static form should take place no matter how tired you are and the lack of form with the hit burpees (burpee with push ups). fatigue makes cowards of us all, but as far as bodyweight and weighted movements, form is vital because you become stronger and mental toughness strengthes due to fatigue setting in. both the hanging knee raises and pull ups should be static. the rotator cuffs are getting slaughtered with all that swinging. not a fitness guru nor would i claim to be, but i am a stickler on form to bodyweight movements since i do calisthenics. even if time is sacrificed, its better to focus for quality because you will be stronger in the long run. other than that… GET MONEY!!!
Their form (or rather lack thereof) made me cringe. I was expecting a shoulder joint popping every second. Holy shit that was unbearable to watch.
not gonna lie, I was cheering for ya Hector! ^_^ Seven is unpleasant:)
I feel like Jenna’s time was kinda compromised because of how frequently she broke up 7 reps. Go unbroken on HSPU K2E, KB, and PU. Break up thrusters maybe 4-3 if you need to give your shoulders a break. Singles if you’re really compromised. Deadlifts, do singles if you’ve got a quick reset to keep your grip strong for all 7 rounds. Keep burpees at a moderate pace as to not immediately spike the heart rate. This workout really blows up the grip, back, and shoulders.
Finally finished this workout and never tried it again. Brutal workout.
primera vez en la vida, lo hice sin chaleco y divido en round, como un Cindy. 39 minutos. Q Tal?
Awesome, inspiring work! Hector, I don’t know how you do burpees with your hands like that. My fingers don’t even bend that far.
Felt for poor Hector, he seemed to be getting lots of no reps and then to finish his dry heaving into water vomiting…. That’s one tough mother of a hero wod. Liked the idea of changing breathing patterns on the thrusters/wallballs, may try it if I remember during a wod.
Looks a tough WOD, guys did very well. We’re doing this one on thursday
