Megafood is the best trusted company for supplements. They cured my anemia. Anemia is blood the next phase of anemia if not treated then progresses to bone arthritis, osteoarthritis, MS then cancer because the missing ingredient is the same. I’v had them all!
If vegan diet is so good why do you need a bunch of supplements?? oh thats right you cant get everything from oxalate poisoning foods.. plus noone wants to look like that bulimic woman oh the right! whos wearing extensions because she has hairloss from this terrible vegan lifestyle
Its rich in animal products because animals are given supplements with b12 and we clean off all of the natural b12 from the dirt.
B12 source:white substance (yeast) on grapes, seaweeds nutritional yeast, aloe vera… God gave many ways we can have the original no-animal diet and be healthy….some food for thought
Great vid Olga! There are so many myths on the deficiencies a vegan encounters and your videos are helping me & other people get closer to this health style and become more aware of the pros & contras. Thank you:*
Doesn’t B12 also come from homemade kumbucha? I have been making my own for months.
Only fresh algues like fresh Nori or Dulse can serve good amounts of B12. The drying process turns most of it into B12 analogs that can actually lower your B12. Raw Nori from stores is neutral, dried slightly lowering, only fresh Nori is useful, but yet mostly not available, cause not many people know this…
Are you certain about blue/green algae being a source of B12? I ask because my understanding, at one time, was that it actually contains a B vitamin analog that is not as bio available or as active as B12.
Buckthorn Berries, Chlorella, Homegrown vegetables with a lot of dung in the soil, raw Shiitake creme, Couch grass.
Vitamin B12 is not a food. It is not high in animal proteins. It is not produced by animals. It is produced by bacterial the soil.
Ruminants are mammals that are able to acquire nutrients from plant-based food by fermenting it in a specialized stomach prior to digestion, principally through microbial actions. The process, which takes place in the front part of the digestion system and therefore is called foregut fermentation, typically requires the fermented ingesta (known as cud) to be regurgitated and chewed again. The process of rechewing the cud to further break down plant matter and stimulate digestion is called rumination. The word “ruminant” comes from the Latin ruminare, which means “to chew over again”. The roughly 200 species of living ruminants include both domestic and wild species.Ruminating mammals include cattle, goats, sheep, giraffes, yaks, deer, antelope, and some macropods (kangaroos). These animals produce vitamin b 12 which comes from soil that we don’t have a special stomach to process. I love how people don’t know where b12 comes from and how they just avoid the fact that b12 is probably the most important part of your nutrition.
Wow the girl on the right is scary skinny.I’m a raw vegan & I eat all day.Someone give her a bean burger
Maybe smearing manure on veggies in a thick layer will provide the B12?
Typically vegans have no breasts because they don’t drink milk
Good God girl…Braggs nutritional yeast will solve the problem.
Most algues contain B12 analogs. Those can actually lower your B12.
If I went the supplement route, have you heard and if so, would you recommend the brand “Spring Valley” as a good source of vitamin B12? I purchased it before watching your video, and now I’m wondering, since I don’t see anywhere on the label “whole food based”, how to evaluate its quality.
I’m Certain They can absorb b12 from chlorella algae
spirulina contains analog b12, meaning our body cannot actually process it…just by the way:)
Go to your nearest grocer, buy a b12 supplement. Cyano or Methyl. It doesn’t matter. I would ignore this woman. Do not screw around when it comes to b12. If you’re young, you can probably go with a 1000 mcg tab that you take a few times a week. If you are low, find a 5000 mcg and take this one two to three times a week for a month to raise your levels. Your body will not absorb all 5000 mcg. It’s only going to absorb about 4 mcg every time. You can even go with a 2500 mcg and take this once a day for two weeks. After this, you can switch to a 1,000 mcg tablet the next month and then take this a few times a week. Look up Dr. Michael Greger, M.D. or Dr. John McDougall, M.D. Both will tell you what kind of b12 to get. Greger is vegan and McDougall is 99% vegan.
if B12 comes from meat where does the suplement B12 come from?
I get my b12 from Kal nutritional yeast. Tastes good and has a cheesy sort of taste.
Algae contains analog B12 that actually competes with your inner supply of B12 and empties body’s supply more rapidly
thank you so much girls. These tips you are sharing with us are really helpful:)
Is nutritional yeast vegan? Because it contains B12 and I hear of some vegans using it.
Thing I notice in ALL (raw) vegans is, that we look ALL really glowing and are superslim ☀️
Slightly correction there are vegan sources of b12 not just animal source.
SEA PLANTS
thats right i said sea plants, us in the west do not eat hardly any sea plants. We need to follow our asian friend’s and include sea plants in our diet
Then there’s Marmite and Yeast Tada
And spirulina tada!
My experiense as a a vegan is 7 months.
To solve the problem of B12 deficiency I order Methylcobalamin
http://www.iherb.com/jarrow-formulas-methyl-b-12-cherry-flavor-5000-mcg-60-lozenges/117#p=1&oos=0&disc=0&lc=en-us&w=vegan%20b12&rc=258&sr=2&ic=7?rcode=tuv034
Why not just give a suggested amount? Why run around the bush
spirulina not only contains a different form of b12 which is not absorbed by our body but it blocks the receptors from receiveing the small amounts of real b12 that you might get from the diet. yet the blood test will show adequate b12 after consuming spirulina, which creates an illusion that you have enough b12. NO plant sources contain b12! the best and reliable way to get b12 is supplements. shots or sublingual sprays.
Teshia doesn’t even look like she eats. I hesitate to take any of her advice.
Olga, your hair is so long, I can never get my hair that long and look healthy!! You should share your secrets!!:)

WHAT ABOUT WHEAT GRASS!?
WHY IS NO ONE EVER TALKING ABOUT WHEAT GRASS!?
Wheat grass is RICH in Vitamin B12 and it is a wonderful vegan source for B12. I grow wheat grass in my own garden and have been vegan for years. I incorporate wheat grass into my daily diet by inserting it into my smoothies, juices, salads, soups, stews, buddha bowls, etcetera. I have never had a deficiency in B12 in my life. Why do people keep claiming that vegans have ZERO access to B12 when wheat grass literally exists? I have been vegan for years and have been consuming wheat grass on a daily basis for years as well never met a B12 deficiency in my entire life. (Without taking supplements). And yes, wheat grass is very much edible. Also, it is an amazing source of protein as well. Why is no one ever talking about it?
