Yes please make a video on how to know a good personal trainer
So your issue isnt with trainers is with the cost of a trainer. Then is all goes back to how much is your body worth to you. I know it not a cheap thing neither is the cost of a treadmill but what it comes down to is how serious are you about your goals and how much is your body worth to you? If money is a deterrent to getting in better shape and being healthy then that says alot about yourself. I wish you the best in your journey to getting in better shape and staying healthy my friend:)
I’d love to see a good personal trainer video! Also, if you ever did a “basics in the gym” video like your hubby did, but from a female perspective, I’d love it! Not that there would be a huge difference in the exercises or anything, but knowing your suggestions and watching your form would make me feel more confident I was doing it right. Maybe a beginner’s workout set list or something? I don’t know where to start, like, at ALL. Thanks!
Maria! so glad to see another one of your videos. it always makes my day.
A book cant motivate you, push you through plateaus, train you hands on,watch your form, and give you a assessment. It also cant spot you, give your a specific tailored made workout program and diet plan. It also cant do your body fat, measurements, track your progress, etc. When it comes down to it how much is your body worth to you? If its too expensive then money comes first before your goals. I would hire a trainer at least for a week which isnt expensive just to learn what you need to work on.
What did you say at the beginning? I understood TJENA, but what is SHABAT?
Can you explain the path to become a Strength Coach: what degree is primarily important…Exercise Science with what else?
Hi Jonathan is it too late to receive your 100 tips as a pdf file? Where do I read the survey? I went to your website but didn’t see the survey..thanks Jonathan!
hope you’re enjoying FL -too much heat/rain? what do you feel about fitness classes? it seems like that’s the only way I can workout with motivation…wish trainers would talk nutrition as you can work out as much as you want, but with really poor nutrition, all for naught.
Hi. I’m new to you’re channel. I wanted to ask if, doing squats or anything that has to do with hip strengthening will make my hips worse. I have severe osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in both hips which makes it hard for me to walk. I’d appreciate any feedback if possible. TIA❤✌
you should create content bro! ur videos are really good and informative and i am sure at some point ur channel will explode but u have to keep this great content
I read the Modern Book of Bodybuilding from Arnold Schwarzenegger Alex and let me tell you this my friend…personal training is a scam for trainers to push you to give them more money. That’s all it is. But I do agree with you on the last part of your comment.
hello again! thanks for all the info you’re sharing.
I have a question (sorry for all my questions but you’re seriously the only person i trust on the internet right now). I was doing upper body one day, lower body the next, rest on the third. I noticed lower body is much more difficult than upper so I was wondering if it’s okay to divide the lower workouts into 2 so i do upper workouts 1st day, some lower workouts the 2nd and other lower workouts the 3rd day? I just don’t want to have a routine that ends up killing my gains.
Yes more videos please!!! You’re freaking hilarious and informative and I love watching both you and Ben:) can’t wait for more
I am in UK across the pond. Would that be the same here. Or is it just in the USA. Very interesting video.
As for online I follow Jeff at atlean X. He is also very good.
Omgeee..first off, I’m a new sub..second, you are a ray of beauty..my gawd..what a catch you are
Lovvvvvved the video! Lot’s of energy..tons of useful stuff..
I had a bitch of a personal trainer..she was snotty, rude and made me feel like shit..and that was just the first session! Luckily it was free and i never used a trainer again…… I’m binging your vids now
Great video, very helpful and to the point!! Very good points also;)
Good form Maria. Yeah right there. Wish I saw the reaction of the other gym goers.
This guy is the man. Chur bro, you should train the trainers, very Important only become a PT if you love helping people, Love your Rules man. Keep up the gr8 work
I had no problem telling the roided out PT at World that his job’s a joke. Let me tell ya it was badass nobody did a thing about it.
Hey girl heyyy!
P.s. I know what you mean with the weird Instagram butt workouts! People need to learn what basic compound movements (aka squats, deadlifts, lunges) are lol
so you are calling me a scam artist then? lol I give free sessions to those who put in the work and show me they are dedicated to reaching their goals. I actually care about people and their goals. Just like any profession if you are certified you should get paid for doing what you are knowledgeable about. Thats like me getting a book on fixing teeth and i say all dentist are scam artist because they charge to much to clean and fix your teeth:D Hey but everyone is entitled to their own opinion
I’m going to start group sessions. Would you advise a wats ap group chat?
Trainer here. 16 years experience. Great job! You really know your stuff. Keep up the great work.
I recently started my first trainer job, my biggest issue is that my array of workouts are a lot more vanilla than I thought. I didn’t have access to a lot of different equipment before working here, so I’m not familiar with them. So I feel like I’m just giving people basic workouts that they probably already knew how to do.
LOL ” Don’t date your clients!” I so agree. My daddy told me to never get my meat and bread in the same place. Even though I’m vegan now it still applies
Love it!!! Would love to see the how to spot a good trainer as well!
Hi Maria, if you haven’t already I would love to see how to tell if your personal trainer is a good one, though maybe I could apply the opposite to the 9 things to tell lol.
Never said you were a scam my friend. Just don’t charge an arm and a leg…that’s all.
Hello, good morning. Hope you are doing well.
I want to know that how personal trainer conduct and design sessions and how much sessions a client needs according to his fitness goals?
Thank you for this! It was informative AND entertaining… your hubby patting your booty made me LOL for reals! Would you ever consider taking us through a routine with you? For instance, filming yourself doing a workout so that we could follow along with you in real time? Or showing us some of your favorite body part exercises for good results, maybe? Thank you again, Maria!
I Love you Guy’s and Gal’s. Makes me want to move back to Florida! I’m one of the few Florida Native. M. D. R. Make Dreams Reality ♥
lol the funniest and the most helpful video I’ve ever watched!! Thank you so much for sharing this to us and I love the way you film video and talk.
Hahaha the demonstrations in this video were hilarious loved it!
I JUST SPOKE ON THIS WITH MY HUSBAND YESTERDAY YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT LOVE IT!!!!
Hey, II am in the process or the beginning steps. Love the info. You are great! 😉
Hey Maria, love the content! Not going to pester you about Ben, but I too enjoy playing games and if he ever wants to play with somebody I would love to link up and have some fun. Again, I appreciate all of your little tricks and suggestions keep doing you
You look really pretty with no makeup on @ 0:38. Viking goddess.
do u know of any in Dallas Texas…..also, how big are your arms?
swear to god if a personal trainer slapped my ass….he’d fucking lose it lol
Which is why I only trust and follow workout tips on this channel (ever since I found it)
Too many fitness influencers out there and yes they look great but I don’t only wanna look great, I wanna be healthy in the long run too
Let’s see a good personal trainer video please. I swear my trainer is a great example of one.
Another great video. It’s very much appreciated. I outlined a book years ago on how to be a more affective trainer. Many of these were in it. Thanks for making this. It might be time to reevaluate to ishing that book.
Lol Ben helping was halarious! Cant wait for your next video! You are the best!!❤
Wow I must be going to a really good gym. None of our trainers are like what you described. Shout out to Inbalance Fitness Werribee!
I agree with having a good cert. and on experience but really a personal training is just that. No one with a 4 year degree is going to work for a health club or for the peanuts some personal trainers make. Most trainers focus on exercise for fitness. They’re not doctors or nutritionists, please cut it out!!!
I like how it husband was making it worst lol in a funny way u guys are super cute lol thanks for the tips
Ask about nutrition everyday? Are you telling me that you text all of your clients every day? Every single one?
Why hire a personal trainer? Too expensive,! Charge you an arm and a leg. Buy a workout book and read the whole thing and then do a workout.
I think there are some exceptions. If someone has done a prolonged internship or has worked under a highly qualified coach for a long period of time he or she may be qualified to be an excellent personal trainer. I don’t think asking about certifications is always the way to go. I would more so ask about experience and where did that experience take place. I know many of people with letters behind their name and degrees that know the books but don’t know how to train.
Heya! Ohhh first of all, girl you are GLOWINGGGH!!!
Also can we all just appreciate the scene with Ben where he goes ‘You really wanna bring it down to here’ poke ‘there’ poke ‘ yup right about there’ poke poke poke I just died laughing k bye
The video is helpful and witty, 10/10 I’ll come back for moooaar
Kat xx
You are the man. Godspeed!!!!!! All your videos are great. And the content is fucking superb. [email protected]
