Another tip is keep your muscles guessing. One set go slow, another increase the weight, then drop the weight or increase. I don’t count reps I go to failure but keep my muscles guessing because your muscles adapt fast. Also diet is important, in a month i started at 72kg now I’m 80kg. I do full body 5 times a week, I gave up Football/soccer to lift and only do it for fun.

Nice video. Little tip about shoulder raises. Rather than tilting the back of your hand forward you can move the weight away from the anterior deltoid to the lateral felt by leaning forward slightly.
Any Physio will tell you that tilting the weight forward while raising will impinge the rotator cuff. It’s a matter of time before you damage the rotor cuff otherwise.

I work out 0530 5 days a week before work, its so funny how tired and low energy everyone is when they come in at 0745 at work while I am so energetic.

I used work at night and sleep in the morning. I work out first before going to bed, work out time was around 8:30am, My sleeping time was 11am and wake up time was around 8pm. My body wanted sleep so much, when in rest period during workout I feel like sleeping on the bench. LoL I never thought I would have felt sleepy during workout. I guess it is because of my body clock, it contradicts the natural body clock which is Awake during day and sleep during night. Night shift sucks….

I’ve started drinking a glass of water as soon as I wake up, which helps me but I’ll be stealing that water mixture of yours. I don’t drink coffee or tea, or have caffeine throughout the day.

I used to go to bed at 10PM every night. I’m watching this at 6AM now.
Right now I have my exams session at university and it’s pretty tough to study 8+ hours a day and workout 6 times a week. But since I shifted my workout from 6pm to 6 am I feel better throughout the day and I can achieve my daily goals better!

It is not good to point the little finger up while doing lateral raises. It hurts your shoulder blades and shoulders

Can you please make a video all about stretching? I have really tight traps and hamstrings. My tight hammies lead to lower back problems. I have really bad mobility in my wrists so can’t keep my wrists flat when doing low bar squats. Would really love a video all about stretching and mobility, especially through the back. In the abductor/adduction machine, I don’t understand why you lean forward and hold onto the machine in front of you. I had always sat up in a neutral spine. What is the benefit of leaning rather than sitting up? Thank you for your response.

Great little, but so important tips Hanna! The slower the moves (when you were counting to 3) the better effect it gives. Also important to ceep the core still and straight, when doing standing excercise. Im always making the mistake to bend a little bit forewords without noticing it. I forget to look in the mirror to see my body position, also important thing!
