Probably Kramnik sholdnt have played g4, h4, while also going for exchanges in the center. I guess that´s not how you ´re supposed to play it, right? He should have sticked to his plan going for the center and avoid opening any sidelines as those two pawns did was to get blocked and in the endgame they are so easy to pick off. really glad that sport science takes part in a relatively unconventional (in my country) sport, the best part for me is when trainer says “the reason we do this workout is…” because it is important to understand that every athlete needs an individual approach depending of his or her sport (in terms of endurance, strength, power and so many other capacities), goals, strengths and weaknesses, pretty accurate in my opinion and educational. Just depends on the skater, there are street skaters like Neen Williams, and Weckingball that work out regularly. You usually see skaters seeing “working out” as gay or wack, but really those skaters don’t know wtf is up honestly! This kid is more like a Nyjah Huston type skater who focuses on championship/contest skating which, yeah kind of self explanatory.

So let me get this straight Jasper. You fly to Spain or Curaçao and get paid for that since you are a pilot. Then, during your layover, you may have a hotel (paid for by the airline) since you are working. But during the days waiting to return home, you go down to the bike shop, rent a bike and go for a ride. Or if there’s a bike race, you do that, win (Curaçao), and then fly back home (again, not just free flight, but you get paid for that). My question is: What the hell did I go to graduate school for??? You have figured out how to get the best of both worlds!!!

Warm up 10 minutes
Technical work 15 minutes
Speed/Agility work 15 minutes
Main Component 20-30 minutes
Specialty Work 10 minutes
Cool Down 10 minutes
Total time 90 minutes
Main points:
Gradually increase intensity of the session, starting light, pack the middle of your session with high intensity work, then lower the intensity towards the end.
Keep the bulk of your training position specific by replicating a situation you may find in a game. Get creative with it.
If you “don’t have time” for a full training session, make time. You have to prioritise training over other things if you want to be successful. No excuses.

I need your help: I have stopped playing football since Jan 2015. Its almost 3 years now. And I stopped it because I could not find a way to make myself a great player (physically, mentally, with & without the ball) and as a result i was never able to perform upto my potential. Hey I’m a 17 year old girl, I just had my 4th huge knee surgery because of genetic problems. I thought I could never play sports again after my first surgery when I was 13… but then I discovered cycling & nothing makes me feel more powerful in my body. I used to ride my stationary bike two hours every day, going up the biggest hills in the program & worked my ass off to be able to do this. Now I am going to be in recovery from surgery for a few months and can’t cycle yet… but I want to try again. My question is, do you think I could be a professional cyclist? I really want to try. Even with all the surgeries if I work hard I can achieve amazing things. Do you know anybody else who has been through similar things and still managed to be a pro cyclist?

One thing you guys should take away from this: PROPRICEPTION. Your body’s ability to react to changes in space. When you get older, shit like getting up from bed, stairs, and any sort of activity could literally break or strain something. Start doing exercises on a single leg, and keep the core tight. It’ll be the biggest difference you make to your training.

New Elite GMs are really excellent players, but they are really dull to watch, on the other hand older players are somehow weaker but their creativity and flair are just so fun to watch… its would have been tons of fun to watch Chucky in semifinals, but chances are slim or none
