Day 1: ✅ Was pretty tough and I’m not completely satisfied with pushing my limits on that and so will try harder tommorow. Little worried about feeling sore but luckily I hung out with my brother who knew a couple great tricks to stretch after the workout.
Day 2: ✅ My chest is a little sore but not as much as I thought it would be. The leg workout kills.. easier to do than the chest workout but oh dear my knees.

Nice exercise combo, but I may be doing this wrong. I just don’t feel a burn in my chest. Maybe i need a wider form? This seems very close to the body for the half plank, negative, and normal. I’m also having some issues with my right biceps atm so I can’t afford to put too much pressure on it when working my chest. Any suggestions? Keep hands more in front, more to the sides, maybe more in the back to engage my triceps more than my biceps?
Positions are good but I think it will takes to deep lower back pain.
I feel that front lever training works the lats more than pull-ups. Not to say that pull-ups don’t hit the lats, but I feel pull-ups more in my arms than my lats. But holding a front lever really burns the lats and abs. I do both for maximum effect.

One question.. why on a flat DB Fly is it stressed to bend the elbows a lot.. but when doing cable flys.. it’s “start wide”? To me it looks just like the bottom of a DB Fly.. with elbows not bent and the top of his cable fly. Sorry if this question is dumb. Is one more a risk than the other and that’s why?

Hey Simeon, I’ve seen a video on Arnold where he states one of the workouts he’d do for explosive chest was “shock the muscle”, meaning he’d start extremely heavy weight bench press and work down in weight so you can shock the muscle from your typical routine. Would you recommend this?

Update Im done with this workout for now as I think doing any more of this wont change my chest too much from what it looks right now. Review This will start and feel hard asf at first but as you continue it gets increasingly much easier, the gains are great it will defenitely make your chest bigger/swoler and your chest will be much stronger than it was before. I recommend doing this once per day as doing anymore will destroy your chest so there wont be as good of gains, rest every 4-6 days or so and I didnt rlly do any diet for this but you know eat healthy food. hey simeon, ive been working out for quite some time now but cant seem to find out how many sets and reps i should do.
i do push,pull,legs and try to go 6 days a week so i can train all of them 2x per week. than i want to train once for strenght and once for size but i dont know how many sets and reps i should do for size nor strenght, i normally do 3 sets of 12 reps for almost all exercises

When performing a pushup your body needs to go lower, in order for the chest to touch the ground. Also the posture needs to be straightened, and the model is doing a bad example of a wrong posture because his waist is tilted upwards, when it should be lowered.
