I really enjoyed the session, thank you very much. I look forward to joining you again!
Thank you Kassandra! Really loved it. I’ve got EDS and struggle a bit with Yoga but love it so this is really a great option for me on my (many) bad days!!! Lots of love!
I have followed your videos for about a year now, and I just found this. LOVE IT!
Hi I want to do chair yoga with seniors voluntarily. If I want to be the chair yoga teacher, how much will it cost, I am already doing chair yoga with seniors for more then 8 yrs.
I am so grateful for you and your work. This practice is so helpful!
Thanks for this video! Always nice to get the energy flowing during the work day.
So awesome for working from home. I’ve been feeling tight in my shoulders and neck recently because of sitting all day at home, and this has helped a lot! Thank you so much!
It is forbidden to ask, but this lady, at whatever her age, has the body A LOT of women don’t even have in their late 20s or 30s! It’s amazing!
I love this… thank you so much. These videos are really helping me…
LOVED IT! Although I missed your voice too:) I wish we could add a voice over:)
I just found this and I LOVE IT but I missed your voice and your audio cues, maybe you could record a voice over track?
a colleague just shared this, and I did it right away, thank you. I did like the music and the script, but it would be nice to have an option for it to be said aloud so I don’t have to look at the screen? Amazing sequence, thank you.
I recently had an intense meniscus repair surgery on my right knee which has left me seated or lying down for 3 weeks straight followed by about 4 more months of recovery. Man I was spinning so much in frustration for not being able to move. I am a dancer, I train weights, and I LOVEEEE yoga. Before this class, I was so angry and irritated. Now, I am more neutral. I feel like I can make better decisions from this space. Thank you!
This is literally getting me through lockdown working from home! Always a good reminder to move your body and get energised for the whole day (even in break times haha) thank you!!
Wonderful and super insightful/informative.
Definitely easy for anyone to follow.
Was at E.R. yesterday seeking treatment for a creeping, generalized paresthesia. Loving the warming sensation I feel afterward, thank you Nanci!
Thank you for your class in the chair I had messed my knee up and I couldn’t do my regular yoga and this is something good where I can still get the same effect and just being a cheer until I get myself together and thank you and I will subscribe have a great day
Dealing with an achilles injury your class has been life changing. THANK YOU.
Thanks for an early morning great stretch! Feels great…just what I needed this morning.
As usual a very nice practice but I had to keep breaking to look at screen to see when to change poses.
Thank you for this! I am a holistic chiropractor in Minnesota and I shared this on social media for my patients working from home to uplift their mood and energize their body.
I’ve been in a lot of pain. Trying to figure out which doctor to go to but I have to say that this felt really good. Thank you. I would like to know if this should be done more than once a day, for how many days and as someone else asked how do I find the following stages of this yoga program. ❤️
This help me stretching well while sitting on the chair whole day
Hahah this was so good! I was feeling tired but after this I have energy to study a bit more. Thanks Adriene!
Thanks Kassandra. I will do this with mom. Please add more chair shorter yin for hip opener!
Thank you. This was a nice quick session, that still left me feeling relaxed.
My go-to working at home vid! Even though there’s no-one here to be embarrassed by/to, I kinda like the quietness so I can just slip into and out of the routine without breaking my train of thought (I’m a writer), thanks Adriene! <3
Not the bullshit but I can’t concentrate the question is why?
Thank you for this. It was just the right length for me to do at work and I feel so much better now..
Thank you for this video. I’m 55 and my back /lower back been bothering me and i came across your video and it help a lot.
I do a lot of your “regular” classes already, but as someone with a chronic illness that causes pain and fatigue I really appreciate you making this class! I love your yin routines for pain management and I could see this also being a great gentle routine for days when I don’t feel so hot.

Thank you for a wonderful video! The difference it made, amazing!
Am working from home during the COVID quarantine and found myself suffering with new aches and pains due to lack of proper desk/chair. This short practicie has really helped re-balance my body again, and has significantly reduced my discomfort
Thank you so much Adrienne from Sydney, Australia <3 Who would have thought a video you made in 2014 would become so useful in 2020 during this pandemic and so many people now stuck working from home. Take care and keep up the amazing work. Have always wanted to try Yoga and with gyms closed its so great I could still achieve this on Youtube and for free!
Awesome!! Thanks Kassandra. My husband and I love your channel and now I can get my mom involved too. YaY!! I hope you can do a couple more chair yoga videos. You’re Fantastic!!:)
Hi Adrienne, I just wanted to let you know that me and my daughter REALLY appreciate your videos! She is a young preteen girl who is currently doing remote learning online as all of the schools are currently closed to Covid Virus. This is a Very tough time for everyone but your yoga videos make life a little more bearable! Your videos are really helping her to stay calm and focus and she Especially likes the video of Yoga at your Desk. Keep doing what you do which is being Awesome!!!!!
Always good to rediscover some Adriene videos, particularly when working from home during Easter! Thank you, my lovely. Much love xxx
Thanks Candace! Just did this with my Graphic Design students and they flippin loved it!!! Keep doing what you do
Using a comfy desk chairtall with arms to soothe chronic pain and overuse syndromethis is a pleasuretysharing to Ashford Fitness Society on fb.
Nanci, This is just what I have been looking for. Easy to follow, gentle, and will surely help with pain. Thanks for doing this.
I’m an RN at Johns Hopkins and I just took a few minutes to help unwind before starting my shift. Thanks for helping me take better care of myself to take better care of my patients during this wild time. ❤️
Hey this is lovely with so many people working from home now can you do some more like this or short 10-15 mins videos to get us to have a break whilst at home?
namaste
Terrific stretches. And thank you, my dear; you are the perfect teacher and demonstrator.
This session was really good for my back. I’ve been incorporating yoga more and more into my routine because of the benefits it has been having for my body and mind. I’ve weight lifted for a year and it took a really big toll on my body. Yoga has been helping me release a lot of knots, tension, and stiffness. I love it so much. Your poses suggested in this video were really nice. They gave me a good stretch. Thank you for sharing. Namaste.
A little does indeed go along way especially when your body is having to learn how to cope with the sudden large amount of sittings you’re doing at your new office job. I’m a little sad my chair does not accommodate the backbend. That would have felt amazing.
Thank you!! I always feel so much better after any of your yoga, even short bursts of yoga. May you be blessed
Hi Kassandra! Thank you so much! I’d love to see all your other chair classes to give us yoga teachers ideas.. how do I find them??? Thanks again! Lana
Loved this. Except for the music! Would have liked something a bit more relaxing.
I’m in a wheelchair and this was fantastic!!!
Thank you so much!!
Just starting on my yoga adventures any positive advice for a beginner? Thank you for sharing!
Great Video! Next time please speak in the video because I can’t follow you while I am not looking at the monitor/screen by turning away or bent over.
Thank you. I had a left affected stroke in 2006 and appreciate this set of moves that were accessible to my ability.
Im sick right now and fill like s**t but that video help so much right now
This was a great workout to help me stay sane and balanced with a broken toe during stay-at-home. Thank you!
I had a hip replacement 14 years ago and wonder what modifications I need here.
I tried purchasing the chair yoga course and it won’t work. Is this still avail for purchase?
I love this video! It’s very important that each pose is supported by the chair. Thanks! Hopefully, there will be more videos in your channel.
I noticed myself almost get emotional with this video … even as I type this my eyes watered. Adriene, thank you for TRUE yoga. It’s not only the asana.. it’s also how you invite in a gentle self-awareness, breathwork, intention.. “a little goes a long way” has become a HUGE mantra for myself and for my clients. I was feeling so overwhelmed and over caffeinated at work today, and after doing some breathwork then watching this video a TOTAL shift occurred. It’s like my inner child is thanking me for listening. I seriously love you and your work. Thank you for being an online medicine to millions of viewers.
Adriene, I neeeeed to know the song starting at around 4 minutes pleaseeeee:)
Where can I find this music? I found the originals but would like the instrumental version you use. Thanks.
Thanks, Adriene. That’s a super cool yoga in the office session. I have this persistent neck pain that makes you dizzy, and pain in the hips. Your sequence made me feel much better. It would be great if you would record your voice, or make any sign on the sound to alow for following without looking at the screen. <3
I adore your videos. I wish there was some kind of noise to know when to come back to center, but I am sure as I use this video I will get used to the timing!
Thank you for a quick session. I really enjoyed it and felt so good after
It was awesome. My first try. I loved it will be doing more.
I quite liked this, but perhaps I am ready for something more challenging!!!
Love this routine. I have lupus and arthritis but I find these gentle poses make me feel better and help me stay a bit more mobile.
Thank you for this video! I needed a quick “wake up” workout that I could do in a small space to give me a little boost and this was perfect.
Just sent this to all of my colleagues. We have great workstations in the office, but as of yesterday, we’re all working from home because of COVID-19. I don’t want people to suffer because they don’t have their regular resources. Adriene is awesome, the video is short enough to sneak into breaks w/ no trouble. Share widely.
As someone who sits a lot throughout the day, my back, shoulders and neck get really tight. This helped a lot! Thank you!!
Wowww! What a brilliant, discreet video! I’ve been using your videos for years, and I love each one.
I am currently in the middle of the 30 Day Challenge. Halfway there. I had a chance to practice my yoga in the morning and have been at my desk for the past 12 hours studying, working. So tired and overwhelmed, I was almost in tears and then I remembered you. Knew you’d have a solution for this. Thank you so much. Appreciate you and sending beautiful, wondrous vibes your way.
Working from home due to quarantine and found this to be quick and refreshing for my mind, body, and spirit. Thanks!
It’s 2020 and this is still the quickest and most effective yoga routine at your desk! Thank you Adriene <3
Thank you so much, I needed that stretch through my shoulders and chest and neck! All of it, really:)
I’m a 50-year-old out of shape man on quarantine, thanks it was perfect
This exactly what I needed during sheltering orders and working full time from home!
Heyythats just yoga with a chair underneath. Thankswill try and get my parents to do it
This is the first time I have tried your sessions and it helped so much! With a lot of the world’s population now working from home, I have your site to tune into daily to get into a routine of stretching. Thank you.
Wonderful chair practice. Will be sharing it with my online class! Thank you.
I am 67 and do chair yoga at our local Y.our Y is now closed due to the virus. A yoga friend found your website and shared it.thank you!!,,,,,,,,
That was awesome! It was my first time doing chair yoga, and I loved it. I feel so relaxed right now. At peace. With me having anxiety and depression, I don’t feel like this very much lol. And being 100 pounds overweight, I haven’t been able to do a yoga session… or even a regular-length chair yoga. I’m so out of shape! This was so perfect for me to ease into this! My Dr wants me to start with only once a week, and I think I finally found a video I won’t feel anxious about keeping up with. Thank so much <3
Just sustained a foot injury and was so down about not being able to do yoga. This makes the wait until full recovery SO much better. Thank you! ❤️
First of all, you’re too cute! Second of all. I loved this video because I teach senior citizen chair yoga and this helped me to see how someone else is doing it to give me some affirmation that I’m doing it well lol. Thanks so much!
May I use this for teaching stress management?..a nursing school project
aaah…. lovely!! Nice little break, I’ll try to remember to often sneak this one in!! Thanks!!

I feel AMAZING after this!!!!! this is sooooo soooo soooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like whaaaaaaat???? awesome!!!!!!!!
Love seeing more gentle exercise routines that can be done by elderly or people recovering from injuries. Thanks for sharing:)
I was real stressed out and after a short 9 or 10 minute sesh I feel great! Thanks.
Thank you so much. This is my most favourite yoga video. I often have only 10 minutes a day and this helps me to relieve pain. Thank you.
I am in need of gentle stretching, & this feels just right. I will do this again later, & from now on. Thanks!
Omg I got up at 4 am to do this. I used to do yoga daily and now I’m obese and I was using this to get my fix and to be a starter back into yoga. Awesome. That holding on to the back of the chair bend omggg my back was so tight it felt so good

I’ve been looking for an easy routine since I have RA. I think this will be perfect for me. Thank you I have subscribed
This is so helpful for my bursitis. Very stress relaxing. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video. For the past five months I have been unable to maintain my normal yoga & pilates workouts. I had extensive foot surgery with metal screws & plates & was non weight-bearing for six-eight weeks. Three months after that surgery I had my second total hip replacement. I am so eager to get back to yoga. This was a beautifully relaxing and gentle way to ease myself back into a regular workout routine.
I recently discovered this video and have been doing it first thing in the morning to help wake up and relax my body. It has been exactly what I needed, thank you!
Cheeky little office yoga session, made me smile. Now back to the keyboard.
I love your program. I would like to find parts 2 and 3 that you mentioned afterwards. Please provide information for viewing and/or purchase. Thanks so much!
Lovely. Thank you. I too have been following you for a long time and as I am a medium level and older yogi I find that there are still plenty of your fantastic videos on here that I can follow. Your pace and instructions work for me mostly. So I thank you very much x
I love all of your videos, including this one!! I am a nurse so I am always on my feet, but when I am studying or working on my fitness businessI get so achy and sore from sitting so long. This routine is so rejuvenating!! Thank you, Candace!!
This 10 minute chair video is helping to restore my flexibility and actually save my life. I am so out of shape and stressed after years of sitting a lot for my job and relative inactivity. I can see a better future and this will get me started it is the perfect beginning.
NIce session, I am nursing a muscle tear in my knee so this takes a lot of pressure off it while I’m waiting for surgery!
Love all your videos. I really like your voice and you are very relaxed and calm while explaining each position.
Thank you so much. I found that both relaxing and good for my pretty ancient aching body. I’ll keep watching and participating.
This is great for those of us who are now teleworking When I get a bit of brain fog, I stop and do the streches in my office chair and it gives me a new outlook. I am not very flexible so hoping this will help remedy.
Nanci this chair is technically not correct for you.
Heels should touch floor
I am a “Sr.” and this is my First time attempting any kind of yoga. This is a perfect introduction, on my YOGA journey.
This one really worked for me, i feel a lot more energetic, improved my mood and focus, thanks a lot. keep doing the great work. Also could you make something for pain in the upper back i.e neck and traps, thanks a lot!
Thank you Candace this was awesome first time and I’ll be back for more
Thanks for providing something for people who can’t get on the floor. I specialize in chair yoga for seniors, and love this offering. It reinforces the message that Yoga doesn’t have to be a workout. Great job!
I love this video. For me, having arthritis n joint pain, you’ve shown me an easy way to get started with helping me improve my mobility issues. Looking forward to seeing more of these types of videos that are so, so doable.Thank you.
I love your class. I would love to have the link for your other chair yoga routines. You mentioned hanging one that uses the chair as a support and is a little more challenging. Thanks for a great class.
Perfect for me! Recovering from 2 ankle surgeries with titanium plates and screws in my right ankle. Thank you for this video <3
Enak yoga ngene iki gampang gerakane….. (tak komen nggawe boso q dewe )
I was just thinking today at work that I need to find some stretches to do. My back has been hurting from sitting so much. Thanks for the video! Can’t wait to try it tomorrow!
I have a broken ankle, so cannot do regular yoga for awhile yet. With the corona virus shutting down the rec center, I am glad I found your chair yoga video. Thanks for putting this out there it will help me stay active and flexible during this crisis.
THRILLED that you have chair yoga too since your classes are my favorite and I am recovering from surgery. Also, all of the other chair yoga sessions on youtube are so slow and boring. THANK YOU!
I wanted to know about the 40 chair yoga poses and links as well…
I am healing from ankle surgery and this is great. Thanks so much.
Wonderful. I have balance issues due to an accident. Thank you. I will be able to get back into gentle yoga. I had a yoga teacher that liked to use walls as as yoga props
Excellent stretch for morning wake up or bedtime relaxing. Not too much talking at all, you have to guide people to do the poses correctly so they are not hurt. Thank you for making this video.
I adapted this a little for chair yoga on a bus whilst protecting my modesty wearing a dress. Life hacks are totally possible when commuting. Thank you Kassandra.
Thank you I enjoyed this at my office. It was perfect after sitting so long.
Thank you so much! I love these easy short ones I can do at my desk because sitting all day kills me lol
This was great, I suffer from muscle spasms in upper back plus am office manager. Thank you for sharing.
I love how easy and calming it is
Also makes me more aware of my body, a good break from the usual sitting
not possible for everyone alot of seniors cannot do quite a few of these moves
Thank you so much for this video! Your exercises have helped me continue to move around during fibro flares.:)
I enjoyed that but would have liked it to be slower. It almost felt like she was rushing through.
Very nice. Voice builds confidence, not intimidating but encouraging! Thank you. Great start to chair yoga.
I agree with others that the sequences are wonderful, but some unobtrusive signal when it’s time to return to the video and do the next move would be great! A bell sounds perfect!
I love the video. How about stretches for when I am in my man cave, in my recliner? This morning, I woke early, came in to the man cave. Sat in my recliner to watch some early YT.
I fell asleep and had the weirdest dream about holding a a class on how to squat poop. If I had been stretching, I probably wouldn’t have fallen asleep and had that horrible dream.

This is perfect because I’m trying to get my Mom to get with us!!! Thank you ❤️
I do this yoga in the morning at school and I’m the only one that enjoys this video
Thank you for this session. It really help me to reduce my back pain. I have a question: how can I substitute those crossed legs exercises? I have a prominent belly at this moment and it’s really difficult to cross my legs. Thank you!
It was a reminder of my past Yoga classes and I’m glad to have this because it will only make me stronger and centered. I feel less tense and stiff. However, I could not watch and do some of the exercises at the same time. Thanks for sharing and I will use these exercises during my sun rise.
Love this, and you your are the best, I am 62 and new to yoga, I love your classes keep up the good work
For seniors sheltering in place against Covid-19, this is extremely helpful. Namaste!
I love how easy this is to do at work (and not have to have volume!). Thank you:)
Awesome video, does anyone know the name of the first song? Namaste!
Teena koe Thankyou very much this yoga exercise is helping me a lot.
Thank you.My body says yes,it takes the stress out of falling in
a pose and my poor old body can relax and het into a lovely stretch.
Thank-you for making this. Just one question: What do I do when I can’t get my ankle over the opposite knee? I’m 63 years old now, and couldn’t cross my legs even in Kindergarten! LOL
Love your tone and energy, going to search for more of your videos! never did yoga before, thanks!!:)
The directions need to be spoken. It’s impossibl to turn my head or bend down and read the screen at the same time. I have to keep looking up or over, which defeats the purpose.
Thankyou so much for this! I am not able to sit on the floor due to hip and knee injury, so this is super helpful.
Love this session. My mother is having some knee problem problem and this is so good for her. Please please please share more sessions for elderly people and those who ate suffering with knee problems
Would be nice if you’re talking instead of texts. I keep pausing the video to check and I feel like it’s too fast.
This is exactly what I need I have rheumatoid arthritis and then a flareup and this is wonderful thank you so much
Thank you for your chair yoga class…
I am a yoga teacher myself so got to know a little about chair yoga

I’ve been working from home and started feeling really tight. I’ve incorporated this routine daily and I can feel the difference its made! Thank you!
Thank you. I have a pinched nerve in my leg and this helps soooo much! I’m too heavy to completely do all the exercises, but even this little bit has helped reduced the tingling and pain!

I cant wait to do this. a friend shared your page wit me. I used to be 150lbs and worked out hard, so hard I am 40 with arthritis so bad in my knees it hurts to move. What can I use to help bend my knees?..had knee replacement
I am only 5′ tall and chairs are too tall and deep for me. Got any suggestions?

Very clear instruction and demonstration. Soft voice is helpful, too. My arthritis thanks you! Great, informative video!

Just wanted to try this as I’m getting stiff and sore as I get older great beginner class! I hope I can gain some strength and flexibility.
Thank you kassandra for helping me everyday with my chronic pain! I would love to see a yin yoga video especially for scoliosis! ❤️
I am a teacher myself (dance and stretching) and you are a really good teacher. My compliments!
Thanks for this, allows us to stay #AloneTogether as recommended by CDC
Where’s the like button??? YT just wants me to register to vote! I am registered!
This is really great for me as a person who has had multiple physical trauma. I don’t have to try and get on to and off of the floor!
I needed chair exercise and then a chair yoga today, short ones. I have chronic pain issues that stem from Osteoarthritis that is widespread thru my body including whole spine, scoliosis and Fibromyalgia to name a few. I wanted to research out of my normal zone of people who I normally use and found this to be nice stretching, however I believe the shoulder stretches were a tad too much but I know to modify from my past career in physical therapy and didn’t. Thank you for this yoga stretching! @PsycheTruth
I will start this routine tomorrow morning. My doctor suggested I find a yoga routine on Youtube. This perfect.
thank you…I am going to be doing this on the days I am not doing my other workouts..i do chair yoga and love it. I have surprised myself after 3 weeks of doing it how much of a difference I find my body. even my bad knee, I am able to cross my leg…
I have MS and your workouts are so helpful to keep me stretched out! Thank you!
Loved this! Kinda weird to not have you talking at first, since that’s what I’m used to from your other videos that I’ve seen. Definitely worked though, and I can see the benefit for office situations! Thanks for making this! <3
This was an assignment for my middle school son from his P.E. teacher. I did it with him and we both enjoyed it. Thanks Candice for putting out such great content!
Is there a part 3? Which yoga should I try from here? I really liked your pet 1 and 2. Thank you
I
Thank you for this gentle chair practice. I have a few people with foot and knee issues they can easily incorporate this practice. Grateful.
Thank you so much for your videos! At work a group of us follow this chair yoga video every morning which is a wonderful start to our day!
Thanks so much for this chair yoga session. I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Prior to my disability, I was a runner and dancer. I’ve been advised now to be gentle with my body through gentle walks and yoga. This is a great start for me.
I’m not a senior but I am in a wheelchair & I really appreciate this video! It was very helpful and I will be including this in my Yoga routine. Thank you! ❤️
I couldn’t find time this morning to do my normal routine and this helps a bunch! Thank you!!
Definitely will be using this when I’m forced back in the office. For now I am keeping up the full videos in yoga camp. Love this idea as I get rooted to my chair and forget to move x I love you Adrienne
I do not like to exercise and my body feels it, but this is short and gentle enough to get me back into it. I am already noticing improvements in my flexibility, which was nonexistent, and minor aches and pains have disappeared. Thank you for this!
I love the idea of chair yoga. It offers such a good support for those less mobile, my gran does chair yoga and she loves it. Thanks again for providing constant inspiration on my own YouTube yoga journey. You guys give me confidence to keep posting!
Can we get an updated version of this? Maybe with some new moves?
Great class! I actually did the class without a chair and was able to modify and do the poses that you would do in a regular yoga class. It was a nice gentle stretch which was perfect for this morning as i was feeling a little tired. Good length of time too which will allow me to do it when short on time and still do one of your meditation classes. I will have to try it with a chair to see what it is like to do chair yoga. Thank you Kassandra for all that you do! Have a wonderful day. Namaste.
I loved this!! I can’t get over how awesome it is that you have this as a video. The captions are so true to all of the other yoga with Adriene videos. This absolutely made my day.
Whenever I feel stressed and lost, YouTube knows which videos to recommend ( ˘ ³˘)♥
Thank you for this video. I had hip replacement 19 months ago and everything is so tight especially in my hips. Hard to walk some days. Very hard stretching out legs to the sides in your pose with one leg bent and other stretched out. I’m working on that one which is the stiffest. I hope to be able to go to an actual class and not feel like an old man unable to do anything.
Thank you for this series of yoga stretches. I am 62, a musician, and I’ve found that as I get older, I need to have more stretching breaks when I’m practicing guitar etc. This has been very helpful, thank you. What company makes the red top you’re wearing in this video? It’s very pretty and looks real comfortable.
Very helpful practice to help me renew my yoga practice after a very long absence. Thank you. Namaste.
Thank you so much for this, perfect, I could do it without my prosthesis. Would love for more of this. Namaste
Really nice! Can you make more of these short desk sequences?:) Maybe with voice guidance?:)
I have someone I want to share this with. I’m so glad you put this out! Blessings!
That’s perfect for me right now although I’m on my twenties because my knees hurt me so I’m not able to do normal yoga poses on the floor.
Thanks for sharing that routine with us.
I’m a stroke survivor I’ve been trying to find some sort of seated yoga I can do in my wheelchair I was able to do this today but some of the arm stuff I have to help my affected arm with.
I have MS and need exercises that can be done IN a chair, rather than WITH a chair. So these are lovely, thanks.
I was fine until I got to the “cross your legs” part. Knee injury. Not gonna happen. Good routine, though.
I liked this short video very much. I will be watching it again at lunch until I can do it on my own. Very calming Candice and I like your instructions and further details about how and why.
I love yoga so much, but unfortunately these days I have knees pain so I’m not able to do the normal yoga on a mat. This routine on the chair was so good as it helps me continue doing yoga even when my knees hurt.
Thank you Kassandra for sharing this video with us
great gentle but effective exercise to do at home during this terrible time.Do it every day while you are trapped inside
My chiropractor suggested I find this YouTube channel and I’m so happy she did. I’ve even recommended this particular video back to her, as she hadn’t heard of it but has a lot of clients who could benefit from a desk break (Also the Office Break yoga is great!) So pleased to know about this option!
thanks candace for this. i love it. in then minutes you have us go through some major stretches that give more flexibility and well-being. i sit a lot for my work, so for me this is great.
Nothing I’ve done makes me feel as great as this short routine!
Thank you very nice and I alsolook at your chair yoga program!
Thank you for your videos. Going to buy your book yeaaa me!!!!! What brand gray pants are they, I’m looking for ones that go over my heels ( or are they regular ones and you’re short )
This was perfect quick yet effective stretch after sitting at this computer all day!
PART # 2… FOUND!!! It needs to be titled the very SAME as this one except with ‘part 2’ added, FYI. Here is link for others to easily find: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgWydhvYJpY
Where is part # 2 for “Yoga for Seniors <3 Chair... "? I've done a PsycheTruth channel search and find nothing posted. PLEASE share the follow-up to this and thank you!
Love this! More motivation less stress and loads of enthusiasm that’s how I’m affected, thanks, muchly appreciated!!!
I have ms and can do this im only in my 40s so not a senior but definitely needed this thankyou.
Hi Cara, thank you for this video, anyway, is it safe for heart patient? If not, could you make or suggest one, especially for CAD patient? Thanks again!
Thank you! This is incredibly helpful for a quick stretch and moment for self care in the day.
Do you have a video of chair plus standing poses with chair?
Can you do a similar video of yoga in a chair for students with audio and words? I would love to use something like this with my students but they need the audio guidance as many wouldn’t be able to read/process the moves that quickly without word instruction. Thanks!
This was lovely, thanks Candace. Also, as a yoga instructor in training it’s really helpful to know different methods of practice.
Thank you, Kassandra! This was wonderful! I’m currently in yoga instruction and am very interested in learning more about teaching chair yoga. Thank you again! Namasté ❤️
I was trying to relax when all of the sudden my spine made a horrendous cracking sound. Currently I’m lying on the floor and can’t feel my legs. Am I doing it right?
This is exactly what I needed today THANK YOU! Love the music and visual vs. audible prompts ❤
Thanks a lot, Madame, my problem is that I cannot sit down and to cocntinue my yoga exercices. You showed mi that it is possible to do it on the chair too. Thanks again!
Why a yoga session without verbal instructions? This does not make sense to me. I have to watch the screen & read instead of relaxing and following simple instructions. Here is a link to a great audible chair yoga. Nope, don’t know the instructor or don’t get kick backs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fnLKyRJsrs
This is a fascinating way to be one with your body on your chair
I like the 25:26 minute chair yoga better then this 1 but I only had 10 minutes before I had to go do something so thank you again I love you gals
bodyweight training here to tone your whole body https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsOksvGSc4qtpMufOB2MTow?view_as=subscriber
Nanci this is an effective yoga practice not only for senior but for people sitting during prolonged period in offices, schools or during travel in the airplane. This actually reduces stress and strain in body by different stretching postures with regular deep breathing. Thank you so much for sharing this practice with all and looking forward to the next too.
I could wake up in the morning if I didn’t chance to do it.It is quick.
Some.of us have bad hips. Cannot open legs or cross legs. My dr insists this will reduce my pain. I think hes a liar.
Im plus weight and my doc tomd me to do chair yoga and this episode i could with some ease. A min of struggle cause my weight, but i could do it
Thanks so much for sharing this. It’s brilliant especially on rainy or blustery lockdown days.
So glad to have found this video! This is something I will be able to do over my lunch break at work!:)
Love this! Glad I discovered you. I have had hip and knee replacements so chair yoga is perfect as I cannot do any poses lying on the floor. In the pose where the ankle is drawn up on the knee I can only do my right leg, as the left leg has poor ROM due to hip surgery. What is a good way to adapt the pose for my left leg? Thank you so much!
I just started doing Yoga. My work is offering free classes twice a month so I thought why not try it. I am really liking it and your video is fantastic. Thank you for creating this video. All I can say is if you have ever wanted to try Yoga and think you can’t; I am here to say yes you can. I am 64, overweight and this is the best way to introduce yourself into an exercise program.
I follow all your videos. This one is good at the desk, however I wish it was verbal queuing. Several times we are looking away from the camera and I’m constantly having to look back to check what step you’re at. Can you do a voice over for this? Thank you for all your videos. I love them.
I have severe RA and three buldging disks in my back. In the video you mentioned you have a series am curious how to get it? Also are you doing any currently weekly?
All I can think of is: I bet that chair cost more than my house
Thank you very much! This is always a nice gift to my body after a long period of sitting on my chair.
My day start with this yoga at home and few more times at work. It is so effective. I love this video clip. Thanks Cara to share this great Yoga session with us. I really appreciate it.
Feeling overwhelmed with trying to keep everyone happy at work. I needed this as a reminder to take care of myself too…
I sit at a desk all day you are my hero for this and your easy on the eyes also lol!thanks so much
I am so grateful for this particular video and its associated website. I live in a seniors’ independent living apartment in a building that also houses a nursing home wing both of which are closed to all but the most essential outsiders during this Covid 19 pandemic. The Active Seniors Centre here in the building where I usually play cribbage and attend Chair Yoga and Meditation class is also closed. I bought a compact exercise bike ♀️ just a few weeks ago and that bike, my Head Space app and these chair yoga videos are helping me deal more productively with the enforced isolation. The slow clear explanation of the moves is great because as I age, my processing time is slowing down…along with everything else. Now if I could just find an Instacart associated store that had , life would be just swell.
Didn’t think it was gonna work.
Delicious
Juicy
Welcome back from your honeymoon
love it! great for Friday afternoon in the office. thanks Candace
Wow that CLICK in my upper back at the first forward fold. Definitely much needed!
HOW DID YOU KNOW that I couldn’t play sound in my workplace atm!? This was just perfect!! And the first time I did your practice outside the safe space of my room. Made me notice how I tend to tense up without even noticing! I feel adventurous AND awesome now! Thank you.
Thank you, I can actually do this with the pains I have everyday… 25 yrs of nursing has took alot on my body. I felt very comfortable and I feel like I achieved something without fail. I hope I can do more in the future.
Thank you for this yoga video. I had a bad accident 5 years ago and I had a lot of spine fractures and I have cement in my spine. I needed seated yoga stretches and God Bless you. Phyllis
Thank you I have limited mobility because of my weight. The yoga is prefect very calmimg and gentle.
One of the stellar things about yoga is that you can do it anytime, anywhere — and that absolutely includes on the beach during vacay. But whether you’re actually in the middle of a relaxing getaway or just in your living room, get ready to sweat a bit.
You’ll flow from pose to pose in this full-body routine led by Karena and Katrina from Tone It Up. Bonus: The rippling water and beautiful sky in the background almost make you feel like you’re there.
Start to the point, and simple when your always on the go
Was running late so I didn’t get to do my morning yoga. This was perfect for the office. I had to pause a few times when people walked by but my body feels so much better. Thank you!
Thanks so much. Love this class. Have had 3 hip replacements and can’t get up and down from the floor. And it is particularly wonderful during this time of coronavirus.
I am 4 weeks post op for a mastectomy and this was really helpful since I can’t put too much pressure on my upper body yet. Thank you for the great video!
Hi, how do we find the second part? Loved this tutorial/workout:)
Awesome. What yoga tradition did you train in? I want to become yoga certified.
Excellent video. Great attention to the breath and offers variations! Thank you!
Thank you Candace, your 10 minute yoga video was very helpful for me. I’m 46 years old and have been experiencing severe tightness in my body which causes me pain in my body. My walking has been a struggle but finding your video today and walking through these steps with you for the very first time has helped me tremendously. I felt the kinks popping in my body and I feel so much better. I will be making this a daily practice for me.
Thanks again Candace

Thank you so much for this! I injured my foot so this has been a good break from the 30 day morning yoga I was doing! Really great to be back into yoga after a few days off ❤️
Thank You All . This gentle yoga enables me to feel better and relaxes my back.
Recouping from a broken ankle. This was just the right first back-to-yoga routine!
