I think what people often get confused is that calorie deficit is different for everyone, because your body naturally burns off a certain amount of calories this can be different for each person. 1500 calories is based off the average person, but the problem is that the average person doesn’t really exist an average is just a rough estimate it’s not accurate. What i’ve learned is that my body naturally can burn off about 800-1000 calories without working out, therefor that is daily calorie intake and resting metabolic rate. If I was to go into calorie deficit i’d have to eat less that 800 calories to lose the weight. Something important to consider is that calories do not equal quantity, if you’re eating a larger quantity of food with lower calories you will still gain weight despite being in calorie deficit. That’s why calories are literally useless and I stopped counting calories a long time ago, start looking at the quantity of food you’re consuming instead. Less food equals less weight gain, that is common sense but not many people actually do this instead they just go based off calories. Food with higher calories means you need to eat less food in order to get your daily calorie intake, so one secret i’ve had to losing weight is actually by eating food with higher calories you’re consuming less quantity of food. If you eat lower calorie foods you’d need to consume a larger quantity

AT dinner, I would skip those mixed vegetables and substitute with Broccoli, green beans or cauliflower or a salad. There are healthier vegetables and lower carbs than the vegies shown for dinner and you can eat a lot more of them for dinner. I would move the almonds to a snack and substitute and could have some low calorie Greek yogurt with some fresh fruit or small baked potato. I am on a 1200 cal. a diet of healthier eating. I do like your variations you do in your meals. NIce variety!!

I must have a problem with how i count my calories. I try to stick to 1300-1400 calories per day, but i tend to “overcount” like saying “it says 57 calories but I’ll just say it is 80 to be sure” so at the end of they day I eat waaaaaaaaay less than you but i have higher calories intake in the app I use to count my calories. Idk i just can’t trust the packaging or the serving sizes.

If you add say 4oz of brown rice 124 calories, that’s 971 calories. If the meal is for two, that’s another bowl of rice at 124 calories, which is 1095. Half of that would be 547 calories, which is already more than 500 calories. A glass of white wine would be another 121 calories. As for the strawberry yogurt: 16oz frozen strawberries 160 calories, half a cup of sugar 387 calories, half a cup of yogurt 68 calories. Altogether 615 calories. You would probably eat only a quarter of that at one go, say 154 calories. So, half the main dish and a quarter of the dessert would come to 701 calories. If you ate the lot with one bowl of rice, which is what the video seems to suggest, it would be 1586 calories. You’re not going to lose weight that way. I think w the chicken n veg is around 300 cals u add the rice maybe another 100 to 200 then another 150 to 200 for that yogurt minus the sugar the sugar maybe adds a 100 or 50 by itself but u could use stevia no cals added.

Wow! That is a massive amount of cooking. You make it look easy, even though I know it’s not. I’m still just prepping a few proteins and vegetables to mix and match each meal, which means I’m still cooking three times a day. Haven’t been able to attack that much food at one time, but I’d love to be free from the daily cooking.

Be careful with the raw chicken on utensils and plates, it could spread to other stuff as well when you wash dishes and stuff.

It makes me so frustrated sometimes when people forget that height (and being a female) is a huge factor! I’m only 5’2 or and people freaaak out when I tell them I only eat 1400-1500 (depending how often I’m going to the gym, etc).
Next time skip adding sugar to the strawberry froyo you don’t need it! Fruits have plenty of natural sugar in them already
